Detailed Reviews
Judie Van Wyk has been pouring herself into this oasis for over 20 years and it shows! The attention she gave to us was as if we were family. The accommodations are absolutely right for the price as are her fabulous dinners (not included, but delicious, convenient, and filling!). Judie's righthand gal, Rose, was incredibly sweet and made some of the best breakfasts we've had. Virtually anything you needed, either Rose or Judie could accommodate. You will find a home here, I guarantee it!

Incredible attention to detail, and friendly service. Everything was emaculate.
My father & I were very well taken care of, all special requests were easily done by Judie, the host, & her wonderful staff member.
Will definitely be back when I'm next in the area.
Thank you ladies.

The location was perfect, however the room allocated to us was dark, smelt musty and damp. on opening a window the dust from the lace curtains was that bad i could still smell it on my hands. The shower head was clogged . no owner presence although staff were doing their best. Breakfast was basic but fine a suggestion might to to offer a selection of jams and preserves other than apricot..

I personally did not enjoy my stay, firstly the food was not to my taste because it was served somewhere else and brought to me already dished up. Food was also not appealing to the eye. We were promised braai and only to be served with to types of meat, not marinated. They seem to be operating as a self serve property. Breakfast was the same throughout the week, no variation in meals. The rooms are beautiful, however no aircons and the beds are so stiff, not very comfortable.

Our room was very clean and neat - the room was cleaned every day and the towels regularly changed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious with a bath and shower.
We also enjoyed the garden and Rose's breakfast was tasty and her service excellent.
We will definitely stay there again - very good value for money.
Judie, the owner, was very kind and helpful.

The Guest house was close to my destination. The room was very clean and cosy. The towels provided was clean. Everything was in working order. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and Judy went out of her way to make my stay very comfortable. She even went so far as to arrange shuttle services for me.

Well placed for easy access to various businesses, especially the CSIR. Rooms are well equipped, wifi is available in 100M bundles and breakfast is good. It feels a bit impersonal. The mattress in the room however needs replacing.
