Very nice and private. It does not give you that Hotel feeling. Rather a home feeling where all is done for you. Gardens are beutiful. Rooms are decent clean and spacious. We did not have breakfast so we cannot coment on that.

Thank you for the review. The room chosen was the one suite that does not have an aircon.

great place, very nice rooms and nature all around. we were however incredibly disappointed by the food we paid R390 for dinner only to get rice, overcooked veggies and meatballs. no dessert or anything, for was not even laid out if we wanted more we had to ask even for juice. it was soo disappointing we wouldve been better off going to a restaurant, breakfast all the same we got 1 slice of bread each and juice in a shot glass. great place but i wont be going back

We are sorry that you are disappointed. Dinner was R195 per person. There was a starter salad. There was rice, veggies and homemade meatballs (two each, ie. 380g of meat each). The food was plated and served, ie not buffet. When more juice were requested it was supplied. Breakfast was our standard and consist of fruitsalad, yoghart, meusli, juice (again when more was requested it was served). Muffins, beacon, eggs (ordered to taste), boerewors. Toast (choice of white or brown, more available on request) , cheese, jam, tea and coffee. Bed and breakfast rate was given at a special of R385 per person! Other guests served the same food the same day, said it was the best meatballs ever.

We really loved the property and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very neat and we also loved the fact that they are serviced daily. Excellent service from Barry, the wife is a great pretender who thought I didn’t understand Afrikaans as she was shouting at Barry for allowing us to bring kids!!! The only thing we didn’t like at all, was the BREAKFAST!!!!!! The butter was stale, the sausage was wack, egg was dry.... it was not appetizing at all. On the second morning we didn’t go for breakfast.

It was about an hour before the wedding started. At first we arrived. There was nobody there. We had to "breakin" to open for the people involved. The there was no mini fridge with water for the guests. There was a dstv hanging from the tv, unplugged. Everything was unplugged even the HDMI cable for the tv. The dstv decoders power cable was perfectly laid out on the desk. Probably for the guest to plug in themselfs??? I didn't expect this from a 5 star guesthouse who knew we were there for a wedding function. Please rerate this place. This place will never be recommended to pleople if the service is that bad.

The lady waiting for guests were cleaning an upstairs room when the wind slammed the door shut and she was locked in. She heard someone at the gate and phoned us. We arrived five minutes later and opened and rescued her. Apologies for the five minute delay. We informed you that there was a problem with the DSTV and offered if you requested to provide a laptop and connect to DSTV via internet. That is why the cables were put on the table. You never requested it. We apologize for the inconvenience. Every room has a mini fridge and when requested we stock it with water.
