We stayed with a large group. The chef was sick, so had to organise pizzas on arrival. In the morning, with all of us and others guests turning up for breakfast resulted in a an exceptionally slow service for anything cooked, as the management tried to do their best. In the end we cancelled our cooked order as we had... More

I loved the room it was spacious and clean. I stayed for one night, I was checked in by the cleaning lady and till I checked out the following day did not see anyone in the reception area to assist me. I had to constantly go to the back/kitchen to get help or info from the cleaning lady. The location... More

This guest house is conveniently located, a stone's throw away from the Gautrain station in Hatfield. However, for R500 a night, the service is not very great. The rooms are basic, with only one towel provided, the bedding is clean, but the color is not appealing and breakfast is basic, toast here and some scrambled eggs there. I wasn't able... More

Hi Thanks for your opinion. Something that interests me is your opinion about our breakfast as the rate at R550 / night includes breakfast. As a single traveller do you expect more than one towel in the room ? The router and Wi-Fi are offered as a free service. Other guests were using the Wi-Fi, while I was trying to... More

I stumbled across Khayalethu by accident when two friends and I had to stay in Hatfield for a week, sorting out visas for the next part of our travels. It was definitely more expensive than we'd being paying for the average hostel/b&b during our travels across Africa but the facilities and extras that came with the stay made it totally... More

Great Location for Hillcrest Pool, suited out team's needs perfectly, especially the backpackers section. Clean and comfortable. Wonderful team running the place - went out of their way to help.
