We were very dissapointed with the service this time at Forum Homini. Firstly we called the reception around ten to check the directions to air balloon sport withing there vicinity the receptionist did not know the know place nor how to check/operate the computer. I had to walk out in the cold to go print the directions from their reception... More

I enjoyed my stay here. This place is so beautiful and hidden away. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We took a drive in the reserve and saw many animals. Felt great to have the full experience. Our room was beautiful and thank you to the staff for decorating the bed with petals at night. We had everything we... More

I was spoilt with a night here. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, lots of small touches that make the biggest difference. Attentive and helpful staff. Great dining experience and what a lovely location! It's a must!

We spent the night at Forum Homini as an escape from the Jozi hustle-bustle, and it lived up to the much needed relaxation expectations. The rooms are uniquely styled in keeping with the "cradle of humankind" theme and from the gas fireplace to the underfloor heating, are perfect for a cold winter's night getaway. The bathroom (always a key feature... More

We spent a Saturday night at Forum Homini. We arrived to a lovely winter afternoon, were shown to our room by Thato who was bubbly and did an excellent job of explaining where everything was. We explored a bit and then sat in the sun and read. Dinner was a six course tasting menu with a wine pairing and was... More

We were lucky enough to be able to stay at the hotel overnight for the wedding. The wedding service was in a separate room . This was simply set out with a central aisle for the bride to enter. The reception was beautifully laid out with long table for the guests while the bridal couple sat together at a small... More

The staff went out of their way to make our very special day memorable and romantic. We got married there in 2015 and celebrated our 1st anniversary here. From the bath salts, special flower banquette, biltong pack and champagne nothing was overlooked. Always ready to assist. We will definitely be back next year Thank you

I hesitate to recommend this hotel as it will then make getting a booking even more difficult, but it is magnificent. Fouum Homini is an outstanding hotel within the premises of the Letamo Game reserve within the Cradle of Humankind, approximately 70 kms/44 miles from Sandton. The hotel itself seems as if it was build built into the mountain as... More
