A quick impromptu getaway to Forum Homini made all the difference to me and my partner's weary and tired souls...a very special and relaxing difference. At Forum Homini it's the little touches in the rooms, attentive and friendly service from all the staff and the dining experiences from breakfast to dinner that makes this little establishment of only 14 rooms... We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary here this past weekend. As a treat, we booked the honeymoon suite which was absolutely delightful! so much care and attention to making your stay very special. our comfortable suite came with an outdoor jacuzzi, a bottle of champagne and a few extras that we thoroughly enjoyed. Pre-dinner drinks in the lounge and then... More

Loved the place. The room was HUGE, as was everything else in the room, except for the TV, which is not what you go there for anyway. Service was good. Came back to warm toasty room after dinner as the fire had been lit while we were away. The bed was comfortable.

We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff, showed to our room which was HUGE! Everything in it was of a grand scale except for the TV, which isn't what you should go there for anyway. Service was good, and when we got back to our room after the 6 course dinner, the fire was burning and the room was... More

Just celebrated my husbands birthday at Forum Homini and he felt that it was without a doubt the best birthday he has ever experienced. The staff were friendly, efficient and went out of their way to make our experience unforgettable. The attention to detail from the rooms to the delicious 6 course meal, was superb. Forum Homini hats off to... More

The meals at this establishment are the primary reason for visiting. A seven course dinner and a five course breakfast ideal for the adventurous foodie. There is nothing orthodox about the meals. The service is spectacular and the wine is really excellent. The rooms are a bit of a disappointment. The beds are lumpy, the shower was lovely but didn't... More

Went there for an anniversary night away The hotel seems to lack management, seemed to be run by the very sweet and friendly reception staff, but not the calibre you would expect from a 5 star rated establishment. The rooms are very nice and spacious, but a bit tired... On complaining about our room smelling like someone smoked in it,... More

I had a wonderful evening dining at Roots and staying at the hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, warm, inviting and perfect for a cool winter evening! The service was friendly and welcoming. The rooms are really beautiful with a large bed, fire place, shag rugs, aircon, sherry, a glass shower - you can see into the bush and a glass... More

Overall the hotel is lovely, staff amazing. But please fix the tv, channels don't play, no local news channels. The flies are a problem.the in room menu could be more diverse, no so tasting menu like. The spa was a disaster, you are a 5 star hotel, you need a 5 star mobile spa.the ladies didn't have proper equipment, their treatments were... More

We stayed two nights at Forum Homini. As many have mentioned before, the décor is quite unique, and was expected. However, what we did not expect, was the absolute comfort and luxury we stayed in. Despite the freezing cold weather, open shower, massive 'wall' consisting entirely of glass (to enjoy the beautiful view), it was cosy and warm inside. Lovely... More
