Recently during a stay at Letlapa Lodge & Conference Centre (formerly known as Ogilvys) I was pleasantly surprised by the many changes I had noticed. Having been there a few times in the past I could recognize a noticeable change in their attention to detail and quality of service. I think it’s only fair to say that the new owners...

I have recently come from "Ogilvy's Lodge", they are now under new management. The name has since changed to Letlapa Lodge, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the "Face Lift". The new management team were very lively and helpful, and I cant complain on the service. The new and improved service comes hand in hand with what...

I definitely cannot recommend this Lodge to anyone. The rooms are dirty and not up to standard. I arrived at Ogilvy's during a heat wave in Gauteng. The rooms have no aircons and not even ceiling fans. The beds are very uncomfortable and the bathrooms are horrific. The breakfast is terrible to say the least. This is definitely false advertising!

I have NO idea where the lovely pictures are from on Ogilvy's website but the rooms and facilities are the complete opposite. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I used Groupon vouchers for accomodation and the meals. The staff was not prepared for us and there is no one at reception after 20h00. If anyone wanted to rob...

During April 2011 I went to a conference at Ogilvy's Conference Centre in Midrand and decided to stay at the Ogilvy's Lodge as well. On my arrival, the reception lady showed me to my room. The room were very nice with aircon, heater, DSTV, kettle, safe, etc. The new manager of Ogilvy's, Paul, asked if he could help me with...

I ended up staying at Ogilvys as my other usual accomodation was fully booked. On looking up the place on thier website I felt quite comfortable confirming arrangements to stay thier. I must add that the previous comment on false advertising is spot on. The place is no where near what it proposes to be on its website. It was...

I have NO idea where the lovely pictures are from on Ogilvy's website but the rooms and facilities are the complete opposite. There IS a market for this type of basic accomodation but NOT at the prices they charge. It should be at half the rate. Not recommended. Very disappointing.

After receiving our flight and accommodation bookings from our travel agent, I was quite interested in sussing out the place we were going to stay and host our conference....needless to say - what a lovely website.
