I stayed in the Blue Room....enormous bedroom with a dining table and and bath !! There is also shower room and toilet attached. It had everything I needed, the bed was enormous and so comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and filling. Bottomline: I didn't know what to expect but I was amazed at the the 5* accommodation I had...

Thank you to Sonia, for arranging the private breakfast for 2....You went out of your way and made it truly special...Your personalised touch was evident through out. What a beautiful guest house set in lush gardens.,..it looks like something from a fairy tale...a serene farm house , yet very upmarket!!

Room was not bad, however the Television did not work for the entire stay - after numerous promises to have it attended to. Would not recommend the place ! Found the bedding to be torn as well, indicating that the preparation of the room (prior to our arrival) were non existent. All and all - a less encouraging stay.

The 'ENTIRE' stay was from 17h00 to the next morning at 09h00 The guests had a commitment and went out for the evening at about 19h00 We could not get the TV to work. The 'numerous' promises are an exaggeration. The 'TORN" bedding was a little hole in the new lacy white decorative big pillow.

I love Bag End! Sonia is a lovely host, the house and garden are beautiful. The decor is quirky but classy. The breakfast is outstanding. It's a little bit of country in the city. Great for business or family.

My husband and I decided to take a break away from being parents and celebrating the big 30. I came across Bag End and fell in love. So who best spend an amazing venue with than with the love of my life. Sonja pulled out all the stops. Romantic dinner for 2, candles and the works. What an amazing way...

I stayed at the Bagend for a month whilst on business. The place was comfortable and afforded me the tranquility especially after a busy day at the office. The hospitality was warm and sincere! Special thank-you to Nora who went out of her way to ensure that I was always comfortable. Will definitely be back :-)

I stayed with Sonia and her team for a business trip and found everyone (including the dogs) to be very friendly and welcoming. There was a very warm family atmosphere and all the facilities that ones needs when not at home. It was very close to a Virgin Active gym which I found very convenient and the wifi was nice...
