The Melville Turret Guest House is very well located in Joburg in a very nice and safe neighborhood. A lots of restaurants and bars are close to the guest house but far enough not to hear any sound at night! It's quite a cheap accommodation...More

The host, Heidi Holland, takes an interest her in guests and she fills the space with her insight, enthusiasm and knowledge of South African history. It's a wonderfully decorated/curated space steeped in struggle and triumph.
