After having booked in advance I was told that I would have to move to the lodge next-door as they were fully booked. On the second day I was give a room without remote for either TV, satellite dish and aircon. Spiders in the shower. When I inquired with regards to the remotes I was told that there were none,...

I don't know what the problem is with their organization, but like others have mentioned here, they botched the airport pickup. We scheduled an airport pickup when we made the reservation, then made two international phone calls to try to confirm, and received an email from Prescious confirming the pickup. Yet they still forgot. Clip from email: "...Please note your...

I arrived at MoAfrika in July (via a taxi I had to get myself, as they didn't turn up for my airport collection, despite booking and confirming it.) Granted, I was a bit surprised by how cold it was, and I could have been better prepared, but they only had one heater in reception. Every other room was freezing cold.I...

Had an excellent experience staying at MoAfrika. Mark you're awesome and a super host/manager. The quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle of Jo'burg, was a perfect start/finish point for my Kruger trip. Budget prices, with a chill vibe. Definitely recommend.

Moafrika is a cozy place on the edge of joburg with a familiar atmosphere and a place to chill after a packed day. Great value for money and always smiling Andrew around ! The rooms are big and clean and they all have ensuite showers. A real taste of Afrika !

We decided to stay at MoAfrika because of its affordability. We were not expecting much, but it was just a quick drive from the airport and we were shocked to see how upmarket it was. The shuttle was FREE and the driver was on time and very friendly. We arrived at MoAfrika and Andrew greeted us with a BIG smile....

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights before the start of a safari. This is not a fancy hotel but lovely in its own way. Room was reasonably priced, clean and adequate. Staff were friendly and hospitable. I would recomend this place if you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay in Jo'burg before the start of a...
