We stopped here on our trop from East London to Natal to break up our journey through the end of the Eastern Cape (The area that was formerly the Transkei). The staff were amazing, opened up a back room and truned on a bouncy castle so taht my 2 year old could let off some steam. Good service, and will...

We were there for a friend's/colleague's wedding and it was beautiful. The service was on point and super efficient. The venue has beautiful natural landscapes, it is indeed an ideal location for a wedding, with their lovely chapel as well.

I stay in about 50 Guest Houses per year in my business travels. I was disappointed with the Lodge. The rooms are well appointed, staff courteous but the following shortcomings are noted: Wi-Fi was not working; one bedside lamp without a globe or plug; no hot water in the shower on both mornings of the stay; breakfast starts at 06h30...

Hotel employees are very patient, they don't get bored and aren't cheeky.Their food is so delicious. What i like the most is that the place is very secured, though it is situated in rural villages but it has a tight security. And it is near the road even if you don't have a car but you won't struggle.

After a late landing due to fog and night driving to unknown accommodation, it really helped that this accommodation is next to the N2 and clearly signposted. Traffic noise was also not a problem, as my room was far from the street. The facility grounds/site is huge and landscaping quite pleasant. Rooms are very spacious and staff eager to assist....

Such a great venue. Warm welcoming employees full of ubuntu. Always friendly and strive for good hospitality. I don't think I would consider another place to stay in when I'm at Umtata. Thanks and keep up the good work. I would recommend a different shower head, that the only thing which I didn't enjoy and easily fixable.

This is the best accommodation available in or near Mthatha. I have stayed at a lot of venues in Mthatha and they are not good. This venue has large comfortable rooms with very big beds. Big screed tv with dstv. No swimming pool, There is a tennis academy on the premises. A fully equipped gym and large sauna. Good value....
