We were on our way to Phoenix and decided to stay at the Kayenta Hampton Inn. Glad we did as the staff was very good, beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

On our trip to Monument Valley, we experienced this gem. This hotel pays attention to details in every way, from the beautiful decor of the lobby and rooms, to the comfortable furniture in the rooms, to the convenience of having a gift shop and restaurant in the same building.

The staff when checking in was great and all dressed traditional. The room and bed were great. The restroom door would be nice if it locked. Food was a bit pricey but very good. Internet was a bit slow and would be nice for premium if it was a bit faster.

We went to Four Corners and Monument Valley and then stayed here in Kayenta. The next day, we went to the Grand Canyon. It just depends on how much time you want to spend in each place. We got to the Grand Canyon in time to walk the rim trail and hike partway into the canyon and back. Then we walked the rim trail again to get back to the car. It can be done!

We did not encounter bugs of any kind. I used to inspect rooms for a Hampton inn in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I must say I was impressed with the cleanliness of not only our room but the whole hotel in general

We didn't have any problems. The hotel seemed safe. We also ventured out to get gas and went to McDonalds. The hotel is on the edge of town, so maybe the problem is more in the main part of town.

"We think all the rooms would be good"
"Try not to be by the elevator or exit doors. Choose a top floor room if available."
"Ask for a floor above the ground floor (ideally top) as the noise on the ground floor is loud, with lots of groups."
