From the arrival to the departure I could not fault this beautiful property. It was home away from home. David's hospitality was really warm and nothing was ever too much. I would definitely recommend this property to business trips and families.

We visit PE at least 3 times per year and have stayed at many guesthouses there. This is by FAR the best! It is set in a very large, lush, tranquil garden. You don't feel like you are in the city. Our room was very large, beautifully decorated, and so very comfortable. The Italianate decor throughout is lovely, and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. There is ample parking, and it is convenient to everything. We couldn't have asked for a better guesthouse experience, and will definitely return here on our next trip to PE.

Having just driven from Grahamstown, an experience not to our taste, we were somewhat jaded after almost a month on the road. Arriving at Forrest Hall lifted our spirits immediately. From the warm welcome to the lovely room and facilities it was everything we could expect. In addition, the recommendation for dinner was excellent. You can understand why this guest house is so popular and was full. That in itself is a good sign. Will definitely come again when we next visit Port Elizabeth

Stayed here with my son for 2 nights in March. The owners and staff couldn’t have been friendlier, the room was lovely and the surroundings beautiful. A good base to explore PE and very safe. Would highly recommend.
