One of my best places to stay in PE. Good breakfasts, nice rooms, sea view. My only gripe is the shower. I hate showers. Also has a great location right next to the Boardwalk. Staff are also friendly, helpful and efficient.

We stayed there in December 2015 on holiday with my toddler son and husband. The staff were really friendly. Just wished the rooms had a pull out sleeper couch for my son, he is too big for the cot. Room had a view of beach. Loved it!

Close to all amenities and the Boardwalk. Next to the beach as well. Clean and well kept. Great service and the breakfast is truly the best. Room service from selected restaurants. I had a room that faced the sea and the view was awesome to wake up to

We were flying into Port Elizabeth on out way to the Eastern Cape, so I booked a 1-night stay here, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the hotel, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and the range and quality of the items in the breakfast buffet (ZAR 135). We requested a room with a... More

I stayed at the Town Lodge from the 22-29 January 2016 as I was attending a contact session at NNMU. My room was located on the second floor. The location of this hotel is great, as it is across the road from the beach. Check in was smooth and the staff were courteous and friendly. The room and bathroom was... More

The Town Lodge PE was very convenient for us as a family as the kids could enjoy the beach as well as walk to the games at the Boardwalk. We visited family in Westering which is just off Cape Road. We had a good Christmas evening and Family day on the 26th December before travelling back to East London. Keep... More

The Town Lodge is one of the better hotels to stay at in PE. Maybe cause its newer. :-). Lovely views from the room we stayed in. service was good. The hotel is located at the main entertainment node and close to all amenities. Loved the vibe and the friendliness of the staff.

I booked the Town Lodge the day before I arrived on a road trip from Durban to Cape Town. I expected the minimum in terms of serviceable accommodation and a good bathroom and decent breakfast. A pleasant hotel but did not get the sea facing rooms I had booked. Air conditioner did not work but was fixed the next day. No hot water on day 2 of our stay which they blamed on Municipality??? No provisions for halal meals at all.
