We were looking forward to staying at this historic ghost hotel in Jerome. there is no hotel lobby; the front desk is the gift shop. You are on your own after you check in because the desk clerk locks up and leaves for the night. Not your typical hotel. However the room was comfortable. clean and quiet. We missed the complete...

Dear Nancy, Thank you for taking the time to write. I'm really sorry that we didn't meet your expectations! It's true, we are a very small business, and don't offer some of the amenities of a large hotel. I am glad, though, that your room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Wishing you most happy travels, Anne Conlin, Owner, Connor Hotel

Fabulous hotel, so much history. Love the Spirit Room and location. Friendly staff and rooms so quaint. I don't want to see a ghost though. I love how all of the travelers have left a written experience about their stay in each room.

Thank you, Richele, for sharing your good experience at the Connor. I don't want to see a ghost, either (and I haven't). Perhaps our slogan should be "ghosts are optional"! Hoping to see you here again, one day soon. All best to you, Anne Conlin, Owner

Actually we had no intentions of visiting Jerome. We had just done the Verde Canyon train tour out of Clarkdale and were heading back to Phoenix but thought we would check out the little town on the hill. Anyway, long story short, we decided to stay at the Connor. Such a really neat old hotel, rooms have been remodelled and...

This charming hotel is in a great location and near to all shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms are tastefully renovated in a way that maintains the old style decor. All amenities are provided in room such as tea making facilities, bath products and literature about local activities. The staff were very cordial and made the stay extra special.

We stayed for a night in a lovely room(12). Heard it is haunted if that is your thing. Speed down the stairs to get a cold one and arrived to a loud jukebox belting out the Rolling Stones. Fun place. Parking can be tough on a Sunday afternoon with many skiers arriving to enjoy the same.

We stayed in Room 6. It was nicely furnished and spacious. It was pretty loud until the band in the bar downstairs was done playing for the night. I've never had any kind of supernatural experience and wasn't expecting one. However as I was laying in bed I felt an icy cold wave come over me, just like in ghost...

Thanks for sharing your odd experience. Only problem is, now I have to scratch another room off my list of "ghost-free zones". Kidding......sort of! Please come back some time (I might even share my list with you!). Cheers, Anne Conlin Owner

wonderful hotel filled with history and charm. Haunted? love my room 5 overlooking the street and mountain filled d with old buildings. The old hotel was once a brothel and hotel to the old mining town.

Dear Debbie, I'm really glad that you liked Room 5. It's one of my favorites, too - maybe it's those slanted floors! It's always nice to read of guests tuning in to all the history, up here. Definitely not a chain hotel kind of place! Happy travels to you - Anne Conlin Owner

You can't do better in Jerome for location...the Connor is pretty much at the hub of town. The Spirit Room bar is downstairs, but if you don't want to hear the live music coming up through the floor to your room, book rooms 5-12. Shops, restaurants and great views are just outside the door of this (reputedly) haunted place. One...

This hotel sits atop of the old ghost saloon. All rooms have been updated with antique furnishings. Each room comes with coffee, tea, popcorn, chocolates, water, microwave and small fridge. My sisters and I stayed at the Connor Hotel (room 106) for a night after doing some hiking at Havasu. The lady checking us in, was super accommodating and really friendly. The hotel's decor was styled in turn of the century furniture that we all thought was lovely. Our room was very spacious as was the updated bathroom! Would stay...
