The history is wonderful. Took a Ghost tour. It was fun and we learned about the history. We stayed in one of the rooms that had a balcony. It was a nice little room. I swore that I woke up because my husband was in the bathroom doing something. I leaned up in the bed to listen to him and... More

I have a love-hate relationship with this hotel. Its cool. Its creepy and kitschy. And it scared the bajeezus out of me. Stayed two nights, didn't sleep at all for one of them. Sat up in bed with the light on while my husband slept like a baby, snoring for all the dead to hear. I'm used to his snoring,... More

The Jerome Grand Hotel, the only National Historic Landmark Hotel in the entire Verde Valley, is "mile high" on Cleopatra Hill. The 30,000 square foot fireproof state-of-the-art hospital was constructed for the United Verde Mining Company in 1927. It is an engineering marvel, even by today’s standards, as it was constructed on a 50-degree slope. Also look for the white... More

This is a Beautiful hotel. Sits high in Jerome. I want to recommend the Restaurant Asylum fabulous views the service is impeccable and the food and wine five star. I would recommend any of the steak dishes but a must is the butternut squash soup!!! If just a couple request the Window seat the most romantic table Ever!

Rooms are large, bed was comfortable, had a nice view. If you stay here you must remember it is very old. Some renovations have been completed, some in progress. Parking is difficult. This hotel has a reputation of being haunted. After my last visit in June 2016 I think it is possible. Getting to upper rooms and the Asylum Restaurant... More

The view here is unbelievable. We stayed for the uniqueness of the hotel and the atmosphere was really cool. The history of the place is fun and intriguing. Very clean place and very friendly staff. Awesome setting. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good.

This hotel will NOT disappoint the true adventurous person. Hotel is a re-purposed hospital from 1920's at the very top of the town. Stayed in room 10 which has two queens and roomy. Saw a another room which was smaller but not bad. The hotel has some weirdly awesome features. The hallways have antiques you can touch - old switchboard,... More

Breath taking views, as romantic as it is spooky. If you stay here, spend a little more for the balcony suites. It makes all the difference in the world. See amazing views while laying comfortably in bed. Romantic get away must
