We booked a several month stay. Wifi is important to us, and we asked specifically about the “free” wifi before booking with regard to speed and reliability, and we were assured that it was good for checking email and the occasional Netflix movie. The landscaping around the office area is very attractive, so we were optimistic. Our space was strewn with leaves and small seeds from an overhanging tree, and an overgrown cactus was intruding on the space. They do not do any yard maintenance within the spaces, so if you come here, invest in your own leaf blower and garden sheers. We have a very messy tree that constantly covers our space with tiny seeds which in turn attracts all the birds causing our trailer and everything around it to constantly be covered in poo. The space floods when it rains, which we had a lot of this year. We lost water 3 times, and when we called to alert them and find out how long, we were answered by a very rude irritated person whose response was “that’s why you should always keep water in your tank,” which was not said in a very nice way. Any call to the office, no matter how nice you try to be, results in having your head chewed off. If you have a dog, the smell from the dog run will knock you over. They don’t have enough runs for the size of the park, and the urine builds up quickly. Forget about doing laundry. If you are lucky enough to have the water working, most of the machines won’t be. That “free” wifi never worked. You can connect if you go sit outside the office or the pool. They know this and don’t intend to fix it. The final straw for us was coming back one evening to find a note on the security gate code box that the code had been changed. We weren’t notified in any way, and since the guard station was empty and the office was closed, we sat outside until a someone came by that was nice enough to let us in. This could be a real nice park, but those in charge just don’t care and don’t want to be bothered, so instead it was just miserable. Save yourself the headache and give this one a miss.

We stayed here two nights while getting work done at La Mesa RV, which was our second stay. While there are many full-time residents, there are a number of rows near the entrance for short-term stays. The park is clean and sites are neatly kept, with personalizations allowed, including dog fences at your site. We stayed in the short-term area near the front. The sides are pull-through and roomy enough for our 39-foot fifth wheel with slide-outs on both sides. We felt safe and comfortable walking our dogs late at night; there are a couple of dog parks, one of which is rarely used at the back end and provides a good place for dogs to run off steam. The other dog parks are situated mid-park and are all-gravel, which might get uncomfortable in the really hot months. We belatedly discovered that the pool was closed for repairs (this was not disclosed at check-in or on the website, which is why i am docking one star). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will book again when we need to have work done at the La Mesa RV Service Center, which is about 14 miles away.

We stayed for three weeks and didn't love it, but didn't hate it either. The office ladies were rude, but the security/maintenance guys were terrific. There are crabby notes all over the facility - the one in the laundry room door that leads to the office tersely says to not come in the office with your problems, call this number instead. They in general act like they don't want you there. The pool was dirty and doesn't appear to have a filtration system to keep the surface from being scummy and buggy, but there's a stellar fitness room. The bath houses were immaculate, but they need to be air conditioned in the summer months because....woof. The laundry room is large and well-equipped, and the dog parks (two of them) are super clean with a canopy over one of them to keep the sun off of Fido when he's sniffing around. The wifi was pretty much nonexistent and there is no cable. The pickleball court was top notch. The sites are on the smaller side, so don't bring your big rig. Also they don't want you if your motorhome is over 10 years old, yet there are full time residents whose rigs and sites are a real chit show. They also don't want your kids there more than a night or two, which they don't mention on their website. Indeed there is no playground or any child-centric amenity. The location was great - out of the Phoenix mess but everything you need is within 5 miles and it's really easy to get around because whoever laid out the road system knew what they were doing. We probably won't be back to Phoenix, but if we did and it was a short stay I might choose Destiny again. Or maybe not.

Far too small ‘pull throughs’ for 31 foot unit which they knew when we reserved. We arrived after office hours and were greeted by a man at the gate who directed us to our so called premium space. It was nice enough but certainly not big enough. We reserved a pull-through with them stating that we has a 31 foot travel trailer. The space was about 40, possibly 45 feet long and about 20 feet wide, with sewer at the extreme back end. The approach road was narrow enough and lined with parked cars and trucks, further limiting our ability to make a proper turn in. Plus there were two medium size trees in our space keeping the turn lane narrow. It wouldn’t have been too bad but I could not pull forward enough to start a proper backup because I was blocked by the vehicles parked on the next lane. SO, maybe and ok resort if your unit is small but we’ll never go back there.

If you don't like your job quit that's all I can say. Working in an environment like this you have to put a smile on no matter what your day brings. word of mouth is everything especially in today's world. I found the management to be very very rude to the point of obnoxious. And the way she race around in the green golf cart his truly unnecessary Day in and day out. Two gals in the office one is pleasant the other is very moody. Not the position for that. if you don't have customer service skills you don't belong. Bathrooms were something to be desired. Places are not clean. I noted a cap on the shower room floor for days. I saw of a cleaning Gal come out with one rag. What does that tell you? I saw a management or office worker arguing with someone outside the building. I don't know if the person was in the wrong or in the rights all I know is for management to sit and scteam at somebody flailing The arms it's not someone who should be in Management Field. What I took from this all is that this is not a place for me to contribute my monies for these people to have a job.
