Wonderful, knowledgeable, friendly host. Gave is a tour with history of the building and renovation. Comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated. Breakfast was unique, plentiful, and absolutely delicious! We enjoyed learning and sharing family stories and life experiences during our meal. We will definitely return! Highly recommended.
We stayed in 2014 and loved the Chrysocalla. Loved it just as much this time. The Peridot room is so sweet, and the whole place is so lovely. One night is not enough but it sure was a nice treat. Libby’s breakfast could not have been better and I’m so glad she is still there. What a great host. Like I said in my last review: why on earth would anybody stay anywhere else while in Globe??? Thanks again for a marvelous stay.
A beautiful B&B, with great history. A short walk to Main Street. A delicious breakfast! Clean and comfortable room. We will stay again when we return!our hostess was very informative and obviously a great cook. Our stay here the highlight of our trip!
I stayed here several years ago. It has only gotten better. The restoration of the historic building close to downtown is nothing short of fabulous and well documented in a book located in the comfortable common space. The gardens, brick patios, verandas and balconies all enhance the charm. Dutch babies for breakfast, savory or sweet? Fruit salad. Great coffee. Walk to everything. I love it at the Chrysocola Inn.
The Chrysocolla Inn is an exquisitely appointed renovated boarding house turned bed and breakfast. Libby took care of us and our breakfasts as if we were her family, The Amethyst Room with it’s two beds was a perfect getaway for two lady friends. The house had several “secret” getaway spots outside: a balcony sitting area, a side porch, and a back patio. Inside you’ll find many places tucked away to sit and read, relax, or have a conversation. Be aware there are stairs to climb to go upstairs and downstairs.
We stayed one night, and had a marvelous time. The room was beautiful and well-appointed, comfortable and restful. The rest of the place has a delightfully charming atmosphere. Libby is a delightful host and prepared a fabulous breakfast. He recommendations for things to do and places to eat in Globe were spot on.
Beautifully restored building and rooms that reflect the history of Globe in its heyday. Libby was an amazing host who made you feel welcome as soon as you stepped into the inn. The courtyard atmosphere was relaxing. I will recommend this inn to friends and family. Carole S
Finding a hotel in Globe is no easy feat - especially if you like to support/experience a local spot. Libby has a beautiful place with the Chrysocolla Inn. Just a small walk to downtown and beautiful views of the town. Don’t miss checking out the downstairs level! No TVs but great WiFi if needed.
We had an excellent two night stay at the Chrysocolla In. And left sorry we couldn’t stay longer. It’s quite a beautiful and stylish place, an obviously loving restoration of a 53 room copper miners flophouse. It feels like you’re living in a piece of old west history, but in style. And the communal breakfasts are excellent too - creative and filling.
Libby is the BEST! She is a lovely, generous lady with a huge job ;) We just loved staying with her. The house is amazing! Though we were the only guests that night it can sleep many. She is a generous, easy going host, very welcoming, and creative. Our bed and room was just super wonderful. We would return in a flash. Thanks so much for having us stay with you!
