I have stayed at a lot of worse places. My experience wasn’t horrendous. But, I expect more from a place like this than I do from Motel 6. I expect housekeeping services, which I can get at economy motels but not at a fancy place. Covid is a weird excuse for not doing something that is a rather big part of staying at a nice hotel. Instead I get a large pile of dirty towels and trash scattered throughout the room. There are no laws that say housekeeping must be suspended. It’s a hotels choice, and a bad one. Also, the refrigerator was too cold and froze all my soda, so I had to take it out, which meant I needed ice, which they have in the lobby, except they don’t give you anything to put ice in, so I had to find my own bag for the transporting of ice. Pretty lame. The beds were lumpy, so my back hurt. And I am in different hotels all the time and it’s been a long time since I was in a bed that gave me back pain. There’s also poor lighting in the bathroom and the shower has only a small soap holder which means there’s nowhere to put your shampoo and conditioner but on the floor. Very annoying. The room itself was big and comfortable with a gas fireplace for ambience. I thought I was going to get a golf course view, but I did not. It’s a small property, so check-in is quick and easy. If you’re a golfer it’s nice to have the course right there, which is a good one. There’s also a grocery store a block away which is another good point. Update a few things and actually have some service and this could be a great stay.

Funny how time & circumstances change things. Apparently we stayed here 13 years ago & did NOT appreciate this place (from reading my old review). I would NOW like to upgrade or correct it. In this COVID year, THIS is the perfect place to be & a "luxury suite" here is "heaven" especially if you just escaped motel hell. The Hacienda Suite we were given was HUGE, and clean & safe with an awesome view, four poster bed, kiva fireplace, living room, huge bath with WP tub, lots of everything, lovely south-west decor - we LOVED it. QUIET and could not get over the views. Our only complaints were small. My hubby did not have this problem, but I could NOT get the wi-fi to work at all, anywhere in the suite - so I used our "hot-spot"... But it was a wonderful respite, sorely needed and in a lovely town - Fountain Hills is lovely. Hope to be back.

We were here one night in November - very reasonable pricing, beautiful property, spacious rooms, easy parking. Definitely recommend. Close to areas with restaurants and shopping. Very quiet and nice restaurant onsite.

I was looking forward to weekend getaway that we had scheduled , After getting notice if covid exposure and recommendations to self isolate , I called them to cancel or reschedule for a unknown future date , I explained situation and was told it was my choice if I wanted to cancel or not but IF I choose to self isolate I would be charged for one night !!!! What??? I choose to cancel and take the hit Prather than risk exposure to staff and other guest , but how many would still go? Horrible. Will not go there ever knowing that health safety is less important than $$$$.

We were just there one night and enjoyed our stay. Our room looked out over the golf course and had a great view from the balcony. The room was comfortable and clean. We did not have a lot of interaction with the staff, but they were very pleasant and helpful.
