The hotel does NOT offer boutique amenities as the website describes. I booked the Inn at Eagle Mountain to enjoy a few days (Sat – Weds) in the sun relaxing and working. The room decor is outdated and there are no USB ports for devices. You need to ask the front desk for ice and water. There was no mention on the website that the restaurant/bar was closed Sunday – Weds. I had to walk or Uber to get food. I didn’t rent a car because I didn’t think I would need to leave this “boutique” hotel. The ceiling is so thin, I could hear the people upstairs walking/stomping back and forth at 6:00 am. The coffee machine was so gross, I couldn’t use it. I asked for a replacement but didn’t receive. And last, I couldn’t connect to their internet with my work computer. I ended up spending $30 to Uber to a Starbucks. Also, helpful as I didn’t have coffee. When I complained about the internet, I was offered a glass of wine or breakfast at the golf course. The pool was not heated and there isn’t any pool service. Standard at a “boutique” hotel. I ended up moving to another hotel that had pool waiters and a restaurant that was open from 7am – 11pm.

This Inn is situated in the Fountain Hills at Eagle Mountain overlooking the valley in the southwest and the golf course to the east. Each unit has s Beautiful location to watch both the sunrise and sunset, to bird watch listen, and enjoy the desert landscapes. The pool area furniture needs upgrading but I found the rest of the Inn very clean and welcoming, with staff very accommodating. You need a car here to get to nearby diners, food stores, etc. Beautiful surrounding neighborhoods! Within 30 minutes from the Cheesecake Factory in Scottsdale Kierland Commons! And shopping if you wish. Would definitely return!

The front door was a work of art in itself, welcoming us as we entered the main lobby. We were warmly welcomed by John at the front desk, who took the time to explain the local scene in Fountain Hills. Our room was quintessential southwestern style, with adobe structure. Our room was clean and comfortable, with some interesting southwestern art reprints and decor. We enjoyed the fireplace on our cool January nights. We had a microwave, Kerig coffee machine and a small refrigerator. We had a large two person tub in the bathroom, in addition to the large ceramic tile shower. From our bed we enjoyed the stunning view from the sliding door that faced east, especially in the morning. The grounds were very clean and well manicured. The paths to the different units crossed small bridges that made you feel like you were on a dessert adventure. We will definitely return!

The Inn at Eagle Mountain is not a hotel, but a condo development. My room was up a steep flight of outdoor stairs. The ice machine was about a four minute walk down a hill and then of course back up the hill and up the outdoor stairs. The decor is out-dated ‘southwestern’ with a broken sofa-sleeper that was almost painful to sit on. The only desk person at check-in seemed bored with me/his job/whatever. The restaurant touted on their website was not open because ‘the chef takes the summer off, but you can go next door to the golf club when their restaurant is open”—which of course wasn’t open. The physical setting is attractive, but nothing else was as expected.

Place is dirty, bugs in the room, pool and hot tub not useable. Even though they say they are pet friendly don't believe them. They added unwarranted extra charges at checkout. OverAll a terrible experience.

The casita was clean and large. There was ample linen. We had a nice patio. The restaurant was not open the nights we were there. The pool was not clean and the pool deck was not clean and had very weathered furnishings. The wine bar was not up and running. There was laundry services listed but not available. The overall grounds were unkept.

We were booked in an accessible room which was a disappointment. The room was dirty and the view was blocked by overgrown shrubs and trees. The hotel desk staff was snarky. The pond next to the pool was littered with plastic bags and cans, bottles. It looks good in the photos but the rooms are dated. I would not stay in room 112 again.

If it wasn't for the views, this would be a 2-star review. The property itself looks very upscale from the pictures, and driving up it feels like you are entering a luxurious desert resort. It was quiet and the surroundings were beautiful. However, once you enter the room, that is where luxury stopped. The room itself was tired and worn out. The stains on the carpet were noticeable as soon as we walked in Kinda gross, actually.. The A/C did not work at all-- it either blew hot air or was freezing cold. The mattress was hard and needs replacement badly. The TV never worked the entire time we were there even when we asked for someone to check it 2x. Finally, while I get the whole "no housekeeping" premise these days, the bars of soap were literally the size of quarters and we only got 3 Keurig coffee pods for a 3 night stay. So we were constantly having to stop in the lobby for replacements/refresh. We didn't use the pool or restaurant or spa. For the price, I'd try a different property if I ever returned to this area.

We recently stayed at The Inn at Eagle Mountain located in Fountain Hills, AZ. Very nice accommodations. Outfitted nicely with Southwestern decor. It was like staying in a casita with large bedroom with fireplace, a beautiful view from the patio, separate living room and bathroom. Mini fridge and microwave. The location was close to several restaurants and a brewery. The Fountain Hills Botanical Gardens and downtown area was a short drive. The lake has a nice walking path around the perimeter. The fountain was like seeing Old Faithful as it shoots up sky high. Nearby is the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort & Golf Course.

I was scheduled for surgery at Mayo and wanted someplace nice to recover HUGE MISTAKE!!! Look at pics on website..only bedroom pics. There is a reason! Look at my actual pics! This is supposed to be upscale!? Let's start with the door (all the rooms are like this) Stains on carpet, FORMICA counters that are chipped, the refrigerator looks and works like a garage sale find, drawer missing in cabinet, seals on windows broken so it's super hot with a warning not to turn the ac too low or it will freeze over! How on earth it has the rating it does is beyond me. Then on top of that I asked for another room and I was told they are all the same So I left and went to another hotel .
