The room at CopperWynd was perfect for a Birthday Weekend. Golfing at Sun Ridge Canyon the first day, dinner at the CopperWynd’s Flourish, then golfing the second day at WeKoPa. The staff at CopperWynd is extraordinary and makes everything perfect, even when something isn’t quite right.

No, this is not the title of an adult film, it's how this hotel should market itself. Whoever is managing this hotel is asleep at the wheel. The shower is the size of a small coffin. It's also covered in mold and mildew. There's no place to put rest your leg to shave. The shower gel is the tiniest, cheapest, little bottle. How are two adults supposed to take a decent shower with a half ounce of soap?? The towels are tattered with holes, filth stains, and one washcloth actually had a POOP stain smeared on it. I was so disgusted!!!!!! SICK!!!! The bathroom lighting is very dim and poor. There were POOP stains on the bathroom curtain. The tile grout in the bathroom was dingy and nasty. Mold stains in every corner. The sofa chairs were covered in filth. You can hear other hotel guests stomping around in the floor above, so don't let them give you a first floor room. These are simple problems to fix, but management apparently thinks it is honest and appropriate to subject paying guests to this nasty squalor. Lazy and incompetent or just uncaring? We'll let the Marriott family decide. I will definitely have a letter along with pictures delivered to Marriott headquarters in Bethesda. The Marriott family needs to know about this CRAPHOLE.

Hello Angela, We are very disappointed to hear this about your recent stay with us. Your experience is not indicative of our standards and is not what we strive for each day for our guests. Thank you for providing your honest feedback, and I am glad that I was able to connect with your party today to find satisfactory resolution. Sincerely, Theodore T Guest Services Manager

This is one of the hardest places I ever had to review. Pretty nice rooms and the location is a hidden gem, nestled in the middle of Fountain Hills with a great view of a golf course, valley and mountains but the rooms are in disrepair. I took a lot of photos but can't figure out how to post them. Paint touch-up done in non-matching colors, tiles missing, dead scorpion in the room, old squeaky Arcadia sliding door. What was really irritated was the $25/day valet charge when the parking lot was 10 feet away. I literally had to walk by my car to get the the valet to go get my car and a valet charge of $25/day... Hey Marriott, this is Arizona not San Diego or New York. The valet price is unreasonable.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our two night stay. We loved the view from the room and in December the fireplace adds great warmth and ambiance. We enjoyed the spa and treatments. We felt very relaxed when leaving. I would stay here again.

Have had multiple precious positive stays. This time was very very different. Do you think you should disclose that Flourish is closed? I have told my family about our great prior experiences with the stay/room/view AND restaurant. So I invite them and CopperWynd does NOT come thru. So disappointed. Actually was so disappointed I left a day early and lost the $$ spent . Cannot even wrap my head around why you would not disclose that the restaurant was closed when you’re main claim is the excellence of Flourish. Do you think maybe that would effect guests decision to stay there?
