Stayed at Rio Verde RV park Oct. 7th-13th in Cottonwood, AZ. What a wonderful campground! Paul, the new owner was on top it! He was wonderful as well as the other staff members. Our site number 17 was really nice. Very level site, clean with concrete patios, and nice shades trees. Best of all, so convenient to Cornville, old town Cottonwood and Sedona! We are looking forward to visiting Rio Verde again! Thank you Paul and you wonderful staff you make our stay delightful! Extremely pet friendly. Oh, and our fur babies loved played with your fur baby. Hope to see you again in the near future!
We were so impressed by the helpfulness & friendliness of the staff. The new owners have done remarkable work transforming this place into a lovely, peaceful park along a creek with trees for shade, large spaces that separate the rigs and level gravel throughout. We’ve been traveling for a couple of months and this has been our favorite spot.
The rates were good, and the location was okay. The photos on the website, of the river, are misleading. We did have a nice shade tree that was on the wrong side. There is not much to offer, but it was a place to camp at least. We probably will not be back to this spot any time soon.
Had a wonderful stay at the Rio Verde RV Park. I took to opportunity to stay in a tiny house. This was the perfect amount of space for my and my friend to stay comfortably. The location was beautiful sitting next to the verde river. This gave us easy access into Sedona as well. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Sedona.
Very nice park. The women checking us in was super nice, helpful and accommodating. (I don't remember her name but wish I had). We had a site along the Verde River with shade and nice picnic table. The park was clean, quite and had decent showers. Our son and dogs got to play in the river down below and loved it. There is a really cute town nearby and lots of things to do in the area.
Great RV park! We had a site along the Verde River in the back of the park and loved it. Large RV sites with a picnic table and fire pit. Paul, the owner, was extremely friendly. The park was clean and well maintained with two nice walking trails. We will definitely stay here again!
We spent one night in Tiny House #3 while traveling between the Grand Canyon & Phoenix. The house was the perfect size for my family of four, which includes 2 teenage boys. It was stocked with everything required to cook a meal. The house doesn’t have a TV, which was not a problem. We spent our evening relaxing & hanging out around a fire and star gazing. The RV park was clean and secure. Staff was friendly.
This RV park is located between Sedona and Cottonwood. Fabulous location and FABULOUS RV Park. Plenty of room for Motorhomes and dogs. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We will definitely be back
This RV park has a lot of character! Love that the Verde River is right there for wading and swimming! Really enjoyed hiking up the mini mountain to watch the sunrise! Paul and Veronica are super nice and accommodating. Enjoyed the ECO farm fresh organic eggs that they sell at the camp office. I would definitely go back!
We had a lovely spot by the River... very peaceful...everyone was super friendly and helpful! They allowed fires which was great. Close to Old Town Cottonwood... we took a cab there $12 and walked around. Especially enjoyed lunch/wine tasting at Merkins, Belfry Brewery, Verde Valley Olive Oil Traders, walking the Jail Trail.. And then walked back to the campsite. We also enjoyed the Coyotes Trail Golf Course. Did see a couple of javelinas one night in the camp but they didn’t bother!
