I had a wonderful time in the pet friendly cabin. It was very clean and really enjoyable. My little Yorkie also loved the cabin. I really appreciate the cleanliness of the property. I would definitely stay here again, very beautiful.

We have been considering a membership with Thousand Trails and wanted to try this park to get a sense for what it is all about. We arrived and were greeted at the gate by a very friendly and informative employee. He was happy to share his favorite sites in the park and answer our questions about WiFi. We headed off to look for a site and after looking at a couple decided on site 111. We had heard aboutt he strict enforcement of the 5 mph speed limit and were very focused on not exceeding it. So I was shocked when I got out of our vehicle to see that a very rude elderly woman had followed us to our site and was sitting there glaring at us. We beleive she was an employee but to be fair to the resort, we cannot confirm. After glaring at me for a full 30 seconds she proceeded to scream at me repeatedly about the speed limit being 5 mph. I tried to be kind at first but eventually turned around and walked off. She was horrible and it left us with an awful feeling as we set up. And we were not speeding, that I am sure of. The other disappointment is that there are a ton of permanent residents taking up the premier sites. I for sure am not spending money on an annual membership only to have the nicest sites taken by full timers. This is something they need to re-evaluate. And then finally, there are no laundry facilties. This was a bummer as we had to drive 30 minutes into town and do our laundry as we had been on the road for over a week. There was an option to buy Wifi which worked great and more RV parks should consider. My hisband and I both work from our RV so WiFi is a must. More parks should consider this option. If you choose not to purchase it and have AT&T as your carrier, you will not have a strong enough signal. So fo us, the verdict is still out on the Thousand Trails parks.

We had the best time. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The cabin was clean, welcoming and comfy. The whole resort is clean and very well taken care of. The view from our tiny house cabin was breathtaking.

As RV parks go, this is one of the best that I've stayed at. Clean, well organized with roomy sites for RV's. Facilities at the park were mostly closed due to Covid, but the bathrooms were clean and orderly. Staff were friendly and helpful. You pull in, register (staff wearing masks, etc.), then go and pick your site. Once picked, you text your site location back to the office. Shade is scarce. There are many long-timers here, so you have to get here early and pick the best of the rest. I do not believe that full-timers are allowed to stay over a certain amount of time. Close to the Verde River, there are foot paths to the river from the RV park. Fishing and relaxing at the river is a must. Large RV park with many sites and buildings. Full hook-ups. but no store that I saw, but you are very close to shopping, groceries and gas stations in Cottonwood. Close to Sedona. From I-17, you'll go through about 6 irritating round-abouts to get to Thousand Trails RV park and resort. This is a Thousand Trails park, so it does live up to its high standards. Take note, most of the park is 5 mph which they DO enforce. Park is very quiet at night with "quiet hours" from about 10 pm - 7 am.

Wow, three letters that say so much. We booked this stay to have some time away from the valley in Phoenix, and it didn't disappoint. Large spaced with plenty of privacy, QUIET location, excellent (paid) Wifi service that was fast and super reliable. It shows that they take the time to invest, and reinvest in the property.
