Absolutely THE place to stay. Arrived last night. Beautiful /though not quite lavish. Located in the center of it all. Very nice room. King bed, couch, table and 4 chairs, desk. And very nice tiled bathroom with large walk in shower. Service impeccable. Very nice room. Clean. Good decor. Couple of water bottles included. Pool looks very nice, though haven’t swam there yet. Water seems to be around 78 to 82 degrees. The towels in the room were actually nicer than the very nice towels we have in our own home. Only complaint is that the toilet seat isn’t all that comfortable. Will definitely pick this place again when we return. One of the best experiences we have had in hotel stays. You will love Cottonwood, and definitely love this hotel. And we appreciated the vouchers that came with the room for the Crema. Loved their breakfast too. Highly recommend both.

The typical doesn’t exists here, far from it. My wife and I booked 4 nights back in January for our spring April trip. Wait, I got a better idea. Ok lets cancel 2 and move to another spot. Well thats where it goes wrong. We are exhausted, flight car ride, business, life, we are tired. We get to Tavern Hotel our first night…….thats where we got lost. Lost in a beautiful place that just felt right. At that moment I knew we made a mistake, we checked in to our room walk through the door and felt like we were supposed to rest here, right here. I went down stairs and said, we messed up. We had originally booked 4 nights and then we canceled 2 of them. Do you have a room if we wanted to stay 2 more nights. They looked at things and said we are almost full. Looks like we could accommodate you. We stayed 2 more nights and were very pleased. Management/ Staff is very nice and this place is spotless. It has a nice vibe, and attention to detail just fits our thoughts. Very good choice. Thanks Nicole and Gregory, and staff. We will be back in the fall. Best wishes Rick

The rooms are large, very clean, super modern, and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The front desk staff understands hospitality and are extremely friendly and helpful. There is limited parking in front of the hotel but a large lot reserved for guests is just past the hotel. They include coupons for a free drink at the Tavern restaurant and coupons for a continental breakfast or $5 off any menu item at La Crema across the street. Have stayed here before and will stay here again. Always a pleasure.

This is a wonderful hotel, centrally located in Cottonwood. Our room was very comfortable, clean and comfortable. Cottonwood is a cute quirky spot. When you look into the sip and save package. I recommend this to anyone that is visiting Sedona, quiet, short drive to Sedona, lots of cool little shops.

We LOVE this place! This is not our first stay, and it certainly won't be our last. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the grounds are so well-maintained. We stayed in the Dog-House this time with our little 10-pound Havanese. We loved it! Clean and comfortable, adorable furnishings, great layout of this little cottage room, ample shower and bathroom with supplies, and a comfortable queen-sized bed. The little fenced yard is perfect for letting your precious fur-baby run around on turf and gravel. There is a little pick-up station within the yard with bags supplied for your usage. The whole stay couldn't have been better - thanks so much! Until next time...

We stayed in one of the cottages across the street from the main hotel. The two queen beds were very comfortable, and the back porch was a lovely addition. The hotel was in a great location of Cottonwood, just minutes walks to several wineries in town and Crema Cafe where we had coupons for breakfast with the hotel served fabulous breakfasts. I highly recommend.

Loved it - loved the firepits, the music in the halls, the room was really nice but didn't feel like a hotel, it felt nicer! The ONLY negative things I can possibly think of is that while we liked the balcony, there wasn't much of a view; someone was smoking under us and the front desk was on it right away - thank you! The pool is in a cute secluded area - but it's across the street... for some reason I thought it was in a courtyard?? It may have closed early, or for some reason we didn't get a chance to use it. The free drink on check-in was nice! We got the Sip & Stay package for one of our two nights, which gave you a $50 gift card to use across any of their restaurants. It was a bit annoying that at least at Crema, and possibly the others, there was a 3.5% non-cash fee applied... on their own freaking gift card?! More frustrating was the free continental breakfast or $5 credit towards breakfast at Crema - you can get drip coffee and a specific pastry; I wanted an espresso instead and I couldn't just pay the difference - but it was less expensive for me to ask for the pastry out of the package - toss the coffee I was given for free, and then buy my own espresso separately. Also, they don't give you priority seating, so it was an hour wait for that or just get it to go at the window and take it back to the hotel. I would stay again as the hotel was VERY comfortable, but I had debating staying here or Jerome and decided 2 nights here would be better... next time I think I'd do one night in each town or possibly taking a ride on the railroad. Don't miss making a reservation at the SW Wine College!!

Stayed here after going to The Grand Canyon and Sedona. Great area outside of Sedona which is a total zoo. Hotel is very nice. Not a lot to offer in the way of snacks. Room is nice. Stay on the second floor if at all possible. The vouchers for a cocktail and continental breakfast are good. The breakfast voucher restaurant is top notch. Staff was very friendly.

This is a great hotel and very classy as well. The location is right in the heart of downtown Cottonwood. The downtown of Cottonwood is small but it has a few restaurants and wineries very close by. The parking can be hard to find in the front lot right by the hotel, but they have an overflow lot behind the hotel. The grounds are beautiful. I really liked the room. We had a balcony room that faced the Tavern Grille. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean and well sized. The floor was clean and the room was quiet even though we were on the ground floor. I loved the shower and the soaps and lotions were top notch. The shower is very well designed and looks like they designed it for HGTV and not a hotel room. They give you vouchers for Crema which is a great place for breakfast but it can get packed. Also get a reservation really early for Nics as we went over at 6pm and the wait was 2 hours. So we ended up at Tavern Grille which still had a 45-minute wait, which we did at the Tantrum Winery which has really good wine. I wish the pool was closer to the main hotel and didn't close at 8pm. The price is a bit high and that would be my only complaint.

Enjoyed our week night stay at the Tavern hotel. Drove up from PHX to enjoy some holiday shopping and have a break. Nicely renovated and beautifully decorated boutique property. Appreciated the coupons. No issues with the stay, our only complaint was the bill - it’s really a bit pricey for Cottonwood and a Sun- Thursday, be nice if they had a local special
