Traveled to Gila River Resort for a business conference and I was very impressed with the room and service! The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was huge! There is a small fridge in the room and my only suggestion would be to have a couple of bottles of water left each day for guests (although they do offer free bottles of water in the lobby which was very much appreciated). Staff was always friendly and helpful! The view from the rooftop restaurant (Shula's) was amazing, especially at sunset! Pool was also beautiful, with plenty of lounge chairs, towels, and food/drink service at your chair (they even offered sunscreen on the menu in case you forget yours!). Would definitely stay again!

From the check in (we LOVE Eboni), to the beds/pillows and the cleanliness…you want to stay here! They have a free breakfast, more than a continental and a happy hour! Would, definitely, stay again!

Alexis Alvarez, the casino’s manager is ghosting me on my $7300 win and not paying. Terrible service Not sure what to do now… I guess the gaming commission. It’s been since march 13th. Keeps emailing the stanard “what to do if I’d was not available…. So I did exactly what they said and sent the ticket with “updated ID” Certified, and nobody picked up the mail?!? So now it’s coming back! Thank God for certified mail. Painfully slow process with zero communication

Enjoyed my stay. I was attending a two day conference at the resort, casino, convention center. The place by all appearances was well run and clean. The food they served the group, inside and outside at the events was great as well. no issues.

I stayed here for one night on my way to to Tuscon. It was less expensive than other hotels in the area. The hotel lobby is spacious and clean, the room are large as well. My bed was comfortable but I was located on the ground floor looking at the parking lot. The valet service at the hotel seemed non existent or too busy when I did see them, after I made the long walk back from the self parking. They have in room keurig machines but I was only given decaf pods - epic fail. And the sugar and creamer were not good quality. I spent about 15 minutes trying to order room service before someone finally answered. I tried calling the front desk but they were no help. There were only about 6 choices on the menu which was very disappointing. It was brought in a paper bag and the food was mediocre quality. More of a food delivery than room service. There was a large group of male golfers staying at the hotel and they were wasted and walking around half naked being loud. It wasn't a big deal but it's a reflection of what this hotel is like. I probably wouldn't stay here again. I did like the closeness to the outlet mall. I ate at Ling and Louis in the casino and it was good. Most of the staff I encountered were nice. Overall it was an ok experience.

I’ll start with the best things about this resort. We stayed in a tower suite, the rooms are really nice and the quality of the bed/pillows were great. The bathroom was huge and had a large soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. We had a view overlooking the pool and mountains from the 8th floor that was really pretty. Take note that the housekeeping has no chill and will repeatedly ring your doorbell by 8am. There is a little privacy button next to the door, I’d recommend using it if you plan on sleeping in. We were part of a group attending for a business conference, so this was more vacation for me and work for my husband. I ordered lunch three days in a row poolside, be advised that they automatically add an 18% gratuity (which isn’t communicated anywhere) so the staff wasn’t as attentive as they could have been. Water is complimentary but the small bottles go fast and since they don’t come around super often, I’d recommend bringing your own larger bottle. Two of the three times dining pool side, my bill was messed up and I had to wait on a manager which required having to leave the pool area and return later to resolve an issue on their end. Also, double check ingredients from items off the pool menu. The chicken quesadilla had peppers and onions in it and they weren’t listed (for those with food allergies). I will say each meal I ordered was delicious! We called Ling and Louie’s one night to ask if they do carry out orders, we were told yes but it’s a very limited menu compared to their dine-in menu (they didn’t tell us that part) and they try to make you eat there. We were told that they’re deterred from giving boxes for leftovers/to go. Finally, there is a shuttle that runs to/from the outlet mall but that isn’t the only stop it makes, however no one tells you that or asks where you’re headed when you get on the bus. So for any future traveler, the shuttle goes to the outlet mall, the Sheraton and a spa & equestrian place. There is no signage for the shuttle or set running schedule, you’ll have to ask your driver for that but definitely make sure to tell them where you’re going or you’ll end up on a long ride. For the most part we experienced friendly staff and had a great time there.

My overall impression when I walked into the place was unimpressive, then, dealing with a staff was even worse. They were not willing to go out of their way to assist. My issue, I had a box delivered, and they refused it because I had not checked in yet. It was delivered at 12 in the afternoon. Check-in was not till 4 PM. I was referred to the business center the next day. Although the one person who did help me was in the business sent, it was very nice. There are only three restaurants within the location. Went to breakfast one morning they told us it was a 45 minute wait for two people, I put in my name. We waited and walked around they never even texted us for a table. I understand most people are probably just there to gamble and don’t really care overall. Considering the price and the unimpressive service I would go elsewhere.

Good facility for a small to medium sized meeting. Room was comfortable, as was the bed. Decent amenities in the bathroom. Catering in the meeting was very well done. The Prime Steak house upstairs was phenomenal. Went down to the casino floor. Not really a gambler. The crowd looked rough and the dealers looked rougher. We turned around and left.

I never expect much from a casino but this visit was perfect including all aspects of the room, finishes, temperature comfort staff attentiveness etc Pool area A+. I’d stay there again just to use the area The parking lot is awkward to reach and a long walk unless you use valet but there is always a disconnect between design and operation

We had a fun night at the casino! The slots are pretty loose! It's not Vegas, but we had a fun night playing some machines and cards. There is plenty of parking. Not too many people are smoking too. Would recommend this for a night of entertainment!
