We stayed here the last week of March while visiting friends in the area. We stayed in a North Tower Suite on the8th floor. For simplicity, I will divide this review into HOTEL, CASINO, and RESTAURANTS. HOTEL Pros: Check in and check out was fast and easy In-room Keurig with coffee and tea Two bathrooms: one full bath, one half bath Comfortable bed and pillows Very clean and quiet A/C worked great Excellent housekeeping Cons: The room was painted in a pale steely blue which made it seem unwelcoming and gloomy Carpet looked like it was designed in the 1970s No bottled water in the room CASINO Pros: They had a few classic three-reel machines that we like Very clean establishment Cons: Machines are UNBELIEVABLY, EXCRUCIATINGLY TIGHT. I do not recommend gaming here AT ALL. Just…don’t do it. Drink service is non-existent No self-serve soft drink stations, not even water Entry and re-entry from the side door means you will be stopped and photographed by security personnel for no apparent reason. RESTAURANTS Pros: Prime Steakhouse had great food and service Cons: All restaurants (except the steakhouse and coffee shop) are closed. If you need food after 9:00 pm, you are out of luck. Nothing is open and you will have to go without.

Easier to list and I am a reasonable customer, but this place... its painful. 1)Why does one elevator work? The wait times .... I timed one wait 5 min 28 seconds for an elevator. 2)Rooms are HOT! I asked them to check it out, they said addressed. Next night same thing. I went down again, she was nice but said they had no rooms to transfer but they'd get it fixed by ...night 3... they didn't. It never got below 71 degrees in the room. 3) The little cafe on 2nd on way into casino..... took me 20 minutes to get a black coffee both mornings with no one else but one person waiting. 4)The fullhouse cafe....we just tossed the food. 5) Shula Steakhouse was good, but the hostess was unbelievable rude. We were 2 minutes late to our reservations because we were waiting on the elevators. She said "you are late, you do realize this restaurant is high demand" . I felt bad for her so I kept my mouth shut. 6) They ask you wear mask...all cool...but hand sanitizer is empty...makes sense right. 7)Gym is decent.

First of all I am 55+ age so i usually go during the day and enjoy playing video poker and have a few drinks. I went a couple of Tuesdays around 4 or 5 pm and was excited to see the new river bar completed. before they closed the old bar for remodeling the service was great at least 3 or 4 bartenders and attentive. With the size of the new river bar I would assume that service would be the same or better. It was not... on both occasions there was only 1 bartender. I waited almost 30 minutes for him to even acknowledge that i was there...yet playing the machine as a card member. As i watched I noticed that anyone walking up to the bar was getting service i thought maybe I should get in line? When i did get his attention i ordered a bloody Mary that was the worse i ever had. I said I hate to bother you again but what BM mix is this? he said "the management changed it to the cheapest they could get ..but here is some tabasco sauce". Really? the price for the drink was $7 which i paid for but didn't drink it. I thought wow you totally upgrade the facility yet don't provide good service as well?? Meanwhile I see at least 3 other people come into the bar area but not to serve just to check on inventory. I asked one if i could JUST get bottle of water because it seemed that I may never get to order a different drink. Their attitude was like "i am not a server"... IF this was just a one time occurrence I could say maybe they just were short on bartenders that day??? I left and walked all the way to the other side of the casino where there is a bar to get a drink and as i walked by the tables i noticed more than ONE server bringing drinks to those playing at the tables. Wasn't I a player as well? In conclusion... Why update the casino and spend $$$ and raise drink prices to only fall backwards in customer service? I will not go back to WH to play for now. the only thing i would do is go to Ling Lou's restaurant where at least i get good service from the solo bartender!

My husband was confined to our room for being drunk. He only had 3 beers. We were only there for 2 hours. How can you get drunk in that period of time? The security escorted him to his room. i never been to casino who would treat their customers like that.

This casino is an absolute joke! You rarely see hand pays and try betting max! Your money will disappear VERY FAST! Before you drop one dollar in this con-casino, walk around and watch how many “Dead Spins” people get! They pack people in here with all these giveaways (mostly scam free-play) that they obviously control. The problem is that this casino is an Indian casino that Arizona allows to have a monopoly on casino gambling. Each corner of the city has its own tribe that monopolizes that particular area. Here in Chandler, Wildhorse Pass is part of a three chain casino group that is approximately 15 miles apart. There are no other casinos, no competition. And it shows when you are in this casino. Hand pays are far few and in between. Tonight for example, I put $150 into a machine. Of the three bonuses I got, I won five dollars. My point is there is absolutely no entertainment value in this casino and I urge you to think twice before coming in here. I have posted pictures of the bonus payouts on other posts. We have approximately 62 others that have begun posting videos and bonus round screens to make folks aware of just how rare wins are here in these casinos. We will be continuing this process for the next 24 months. It is not about winning or losing it is about showing the public that these Indian casinos are very unbalanced and loosely regulated

We stayed here during a guy's golf outing. First of all the place is incredible, very clean, very new and up to date. everywhere in the hotel and casino. The rooms are clean and well-appointed with very nice size rooms and very nice beds. The pool is very nice as well. Overall I would say the property is about a 4.5. I think it could use some more options for food but that would be it. I think the thing that would keep the resort from being a 5 is really the people. Most of the bar staff don't really seem like they care or want to be there. Multiple times we approached a bar for a drink and the people made you feel like you were bothering them by asking for a drink. I can say that at least 3 or 4 times through the time we were there I noticed bar staff just standing around talking with multiple people trying to get a drink. Also, no one had a sense of urgency they worked at the same speed no matter how many people were there. (SLOW). Like I said this is an amazing hotel and I understand that it is difficult at this time to find quality people in the service industry but even people that appeared to be in management were standing around or not taking action when they saw their staff not meeting the customer's needs that show me that people are not trained well or are not held accountable. This place could be a destination in the Chandler area with just a little work

Website says 12 check out, staff says 11, rooms not worth it, staff rude and inconsistent. Coffee machine, Iron and other items not working. Room service is in a bag, and cleaning staff comes once every 2 minutes on check out day, but takes forever to get you things.

Was pleased to stay here during the hotel's soft opening. My room was YUGE and well appointed with modern, western decor. Staff was pleasant and professional. The setting, on a reservation, is not exactly picturesque unless you look beyond the parking lot to the mountains on the horizon. All in all, a nice stay!
