This is a very cool place, combo residents who live here year round, or who own and are snowbirds, others who rent an RV space or home. We didn't stay onsite but visited relatives and friends here. The scores of activities are well attended by residents and guests, really something to fit about every taste, from making greeting cards to philosophy discussions. you haven't lived till you've played shuffleboard! The main building features a billiards room, library, lapidary shop etc, all well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sports - Baseball games with resident teams; swimming... we had a memorable, enjoyable week here!

We spent a few weeks at this 55+ resort and enjoyed it. The resort itself is like a luxurious, small, happy city :). It is huge and you can keep as busy as you want here with a ton of activities offered. If you are a pickle ball player, you are in luck with over 30 courts! There is a fair amount of new park model construction with rumour that a number of RV lots to be used for this.

We reserved a ‘premium’ site (non-pet) on the perimeter of the resort and would do this again - the lots were huge with ample, quiet, space. Do not recommend spots which back onto Cottonwood Lane due to road noise.

As there was no wifi available, I can only give 4 stars. Wifi was available for purchase for long term stays at appx $65/month. We tried to use some open connections around the pool, with no luck. There is cable hookup - ensure you have a long cable though, our site had one provided.

We checked out other RV resorts in the area and they don’t compare to Palm Creek!

It was a great stay and will definitely be back!

One of the best RV resorts we have ever stayed at! Great amenities (18 hole golf course, 4 pools, lawn bowling, pickle ball, tennis, etc.) and activities; so much to do and enjoy. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Sites were level and we had full hook-ups. Beautifully landscaped and well maintained. All internal roads are paved. We have a "big rig" and had no trouble accessing the resort or navigating inside. The town of Casa Grande doesn't have a lot to offer but it does have grocery stores, Walmart, some restaurants. The resort is about halfway between Phoenix and Tucson and they are easy day trips. The resort also has park model homes, some of which are newly built and for sale. RV sites are also available for sale.

This RV Park is not set up for short term guests. When we arrived at 4:00 pm, the office was closed. We were escorted to our site by a ranger. We were not given any type of welcome materials (no map, no WiFi code). When setting up our RV, we found out that the cable box is located only on every other site. We would have needed over 50 feet of cable to reach the cable box, which we did not have. So no cable TV for us. We then had to call an 800 number to get the WiFi login instructions. They did not have the info, but gave me an emergency number for the park. The person that answered the emergency line did not have WiFi info, so sent a ranger out to our site. The ranger told us the only place to get WiFi was the laundry room. We paid $81 a night for this RV park and we did not have cable, WiFi or even a picnic table. There are plenty of other RV parks to choose that are a lot less expensive and actually offer amenities. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone stay here.

Such a disappointing stay!!!

We chose it specifically because it's 55+. I love kids, and there are times when you want to vacation without any around. There are at least 7 kids at the pool right now doing what kids do, having fun and being boisterous.

All of the online pictures show gorgeous areas. We booked at pull through site, and it turned out to be an asphalt parking lot with hook ups. Very unappealing!

We arrived at 2:15pm on Saturday and the office was closed. Everywhere we saw the hours written said a later time. A "ranger" escorted us to our parking lot site. He didn't have a welcome packet with community information for us, and the password for the wifi didn't work. He did manage to find a welcome packet and brought it by an hour later. There was nothing in it about wifi or who to call to troubleshoot. The information he gave my partner regarding pickleball was off by two hours!

This morning, my partner got in touch with someone at the office. They confirmed the wifi password. We tried it on multiple devices and kept getting a password error. The lady in the office said there wasn't anyone to contact until Monday, which is when we check out. When my partner expressed how disappointing this experience has been, she responded that she would be disappointed as well. And that was it! She made no attempt to turn the situation around and make the stay better in any way.

So, we've paid high end 55+ resort rates to listen to kids and park in a parking lot. NOT worth the money!!!

This is our first visit to palm creek resort. We are still here. We arrived nov 1st and are due to leave at the end of January…but that seems a long time forward. The resort itself is quite nice, we drove down from Canada in our motorhome, the lots are basic, with a concrete pad at the side of where you park. These are the things we have found out…you will definitely need a water softener, the water itself is awful. It is now the middle of December and since we arrived our internet has been off as much as on. This is a well known complaint in the park…very poor, but they do charge you 65 a month for it. The pools are cold, very cold….the golf course has just opened fully, and being honest the greens are like putting on broccoli…the pickle ball is good, 30 odd courts all excellent and it is well organized. This is the place to be if you are a pickler!…there are clubs for almost everything, woodwork shops, lawn bowling, cards, jewelry, it’s all here but the resort is let down by the basics which it advertisers as having….but does not provide

We have visited this park before with family. We all know “life happens.” Cancellation policy is NO REFUNDS!! My husband and I discovered we were COVID Positive the day after arriving for our 7 night stay. (Had no idea, thought we had cold, so visited nearby Urgent Care). Feeling like the “right” thing to do was going home to quarantine at home, (away from Palm Creek guests) called the office to see if they could make an exception to the NO REFUND policy. Was told that we could “technically “ quarantine in our Motor Home! Wow, so disappointed in this!

Beautiful winter spot. Outdoor weather all the time. I would not buy here if I had known about the Covid Lockdowns. First lockdown was bad enough, Currently we have a manager who 7/22 closed down the park again. There are no other lock downs in the state of Arizona. I would not advise establishing a permanent home here.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a rating, Vickie. We are happy to have you here, and we are very sorry for all the disruption the Covid pandemic has caused to resort life. The current closing of indoor common areas is temporary, and we anticipate a full reopening of these spaces after the 14-day period has expired.

We have stayed at dozens of RV "Resorts" around the country and this is, by far, the best at which we have stayed.

It's 55 plus, pet friendly, dozens of social offerings, friendly staff, no highway noise, no high power lines nearby, no barking dogs sitting in pens outside the RV's, plenty of space if you are staying awhile (overflow is just cement in the permanent home area but level with cable and our hot spot WiFi worked perfect all day/night) large pet park, beautiful green par 3, swimming complex, classes of every type (physical, educational, arts/crafts).

Hubby and I were both very impressed. It is like being in a manicured and spotless private RV city. We felt more than safe at night. If this were in TX we would have bought a site. Worth every penny we spent for our three nights. If you are looking for a dusty noisy smoky campground, this is NOT your place. If you are looking for a safe clean upscale socially active 55 plus RV Resort, you just may have found heaven in Palm Creek.

I think this a great place, it's got everything for the 55 and older. But, we are traveling across the US. 6 days into our adventure. We thought coming to a rated #1 park, would we be set. We payed top dollar for a piece of cement. No grass, no picnic table, no wifi and my dog can't even be outside my trailer. We drive to the back of the lot and play in a dog fence area.
Not friendly for over nite stays. If you have a smaller then 25ft. Trailer, your not welcome. We were going to stay 2 nites, but, I think we will move along.
