So, if you are seeking a typical 'chain' hotel experience, this is not what this hotel offers. It is a very nice and clean independent hotel (so I assume) located in a desert area. The rooms are very clean and nicely done with a Navajo flair. We loved it here and recommend it to others! You will get a great... More

Leaving the painted desert we enjoyed lunch and shopping at Cameron Trading Post. Prices were reasonable and the quality of items was good. It was fun walking behind the original trading post which is now a gallery. The gardens were beautiful.

Stayed here for 1 night passing thru with family. Hotel does not have elevators so you'll need to lug your bags up some stairs but that is the only issue I came across. Rooms are older, but clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Nice gift shop and wonderful restaurant. Price was decent as well. It's out in the... More

Enjoyed this. Historic place with a little bit of character thrown in. Room was fine and check in was at a normal check in desk near restaurant. Rooms were standard size but clean and beds comfortable. Choose the ones with a view (ok it's a dry river bed but hey they can call it a canyon). Food in restaurant was... More

We spent one night on our way north through the area just east of the Grand Canyon, and we particularly wanted to stay at the Cameron Trading Post. We were not disappointed; the buildings are attractive, the setting is scenic with a view of a gorge, and the trading post itself is charming. Our room was small but nice, well... More

Wonderful king bedded suite, very comfortable, spacious and clean. We stayed for just one night but could have stayed longer as it was so roomy. The rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Wifi was a bit hit and miss, that was the only negative

I cannot recommend staying here. The checkin procedure was already a bit strange in a small room where you could directly look at the toilet. Before the guy at the desk even started to do something he cleaned his table. It seemed he was anmoyed we interrupted him. The room was horrible! The smell was like the last cleaning was... More

We went there for lunch after driving through Desert View in Grand Canyon. The restaurant, out of nowhere, was impressive with a nice gift shop. The food portion was huge and quite delicious. They charge 18% gratuity for group of six or more though. After lunch it's about 2 hours drive to Page.

Very impressed with the Cameron Trading Post as a whole - the hotel, giftshop and restaurant. Beautiful views of the canyon and old bridge from most rooms. The rooms are very clean and very spacious. Tastefully decorated in Navajo style with authentic real wood furniture. Beds and pillows comfortable. Wifi was a bit sketchy. The bathroom was tiny but there... More

Everything you want or need is right here and it is comfortable, clean, friendly, and a fun place to stay. We spent a lot of time in the trading post and restaurant where the food was great and the service was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff throughout.
