We arrived about 6pm after a long day at the Grand Canyon. It was nice to exit from the quiet East end of the park. The drive took us about one hour. The room was great. Beds comfy, internet decent speed. Everything really clean. Bathroom was tiny, but towels were nice quality. Decor a nice change of place. Ate the... More

Nice, clean place. Cool decorating and great views. Pretty gardens and excellent location. Only game in town. Furniture is very rustic and traditional. Bed was comfy. Would come back. Nice place, nice people.

This is an excellent place to stay in before visiting the Grand Canyon through the less-used East entrance. We spent one night, for $127, in a spacious, clean and comfortable room, decorated with Indian furniture and paintings reminiscent of the old West. The room was also equiped with modern facilities (fridge, TV, coffee maker and free wifi). Within the trading... More

We were very happy with our one night stay at the Cameron Trading Post and Lodge, before we drove into the Grand Canyon. When I made reservations, all that was left was a queen suite room. It was HUGE!!! There was a large living room, small kitchen with a bar and high bar chairs and a very large bedroom. There... More

We stopped here on the way to the Grand Canyon. They have a very impressive selection of Native American crafts and jewelry with excellent prices. They are celebrating their 100th anniversary and are giving discounts at the door. Definitely worth s stop!

So, if you are seeking a typical 'chain' hotel experience, this is not what this hotel offers. It is a very nice and clean independent hotel (so I assume) located in a desert area. The rooms are very clean and nicely done with a Navajo flair. We loved it here and recommend it to others! You will get a great... More

Leaving the painted desert we enjoyed lunch and shopping at Cameron Trading Post. Prices were reasonable and the quality of items was good. It was fun walking behind the original trading post which is now a gallery. The gardens were beautiful.

Stayed here for 1 night passing thru with family. Hotel does not have elevators so you'll need to lug your bags up some stairs but that is the only issue I came across. Rooms are older, but clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Nice gift shop and wonderful restaurant. Price was decent as well. It's out in the... More

Enjoyed this. Historic place with a little bit of character thrown in. Room was fine and check in was at a normal check in desk near restaurant. Rooms were standard size but clean and beds comfortable. Choose the ones with a view (ok it's a dry river bed but hey they can call it a canyon). Food in restaurant was... More

We spent one night on our way north through the area just east of the Grand Canyon, and we particularly wanted to stay at the Cameron Trading Post. We were not disappointed; the buildings are attractive, the setting is scenic with a view of a gorge, and the trading post itself is charming. Our room was small but nice, well... More
