My husband and I went to Bisbee to celebrate a birthday, and we stayed at Letson Loft Hotel. The hotel was really lovely, and the inn-keeper Laura was a great hostess. She recommended two great restaurants (The Quarry and Roka), and offered other insights about Bsibee. Would have given five stars but the breakfast was a bit less than what we have gotten at similar, small-room hotels.
I am so glad we stayed here while visiting Bisbee. After walking around town and seeing what some of the other lodging options look like, this must be the best place to stay in town. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. There are some thoughtful details in the rooms including bathrobes, sewing kit, magnifying mirror, etc. Continental breakfast had many healthy options. Our room was in the back of the hotel and it was quiet and bright. You do have to climb stairs to get into the hotel so it would not be a good choice for someone with limited mobility. The only negative thing I have to say would be that I did not find the staff particularly friendly or helpful but it doesn't change my overall rating of the hotel.
Letson Loft is located in the heart of old Bisbee, so walkable to shops and restaurants. Reasonable price for central location. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds, and continental breakfast included. Rooms overlooking main street get lots of great sunlight.
Even though the town is small and walkable, the Letson Lofts still have the best location right in the heart of old town. The rooms are comfortable and updated. The continental breakfast is easy and just enough. Laura was very accommodating when we needed an early check-in. It is true that the rooms at the front of the hotel will not be as quiet due to street noise. The hotel supplies ear plugs.
Stayed one night in mid-April on our first visit to Bisbee. Stayed in Room #2 - it was a "throwback" in time with the decor but that made it even more enjoyable - especially since it has more "modern" features like TV, plenty of plugs and a very nice, clean bathroom. This room has a beautiful bay window that overlooks one of the main streets so we enjoyed the sitting chairs in front of it to just "watch Bisbee". Location was great, staff was wonderful. You won't be disappointed staying in this piece of history in Bisbee.
