We stayed in October in the 1957 Airfloat. Upon arrival, our keys were at the front desk and the trailer was unlocked. This is one of the bigger ones RV's that they have. Two twin beds- slept comfortably. Has a toilet and shower which was nice. We didn't find the instructions on how to work the hot water heater until... More

The Shady Dell RV Park as an alternative to a traditional chain motel has piqued our interest for the last several years, and so we recently made it a point to structure our road trip in such a way that allowed us to stay at the Shady Dell for an evening. Adding adventure to our journeys with "unique lodging" is... More

My husband and I love retro vintage and this was the perfect place to stay in Bisbee, We stayed in the Royal Mansion #7 and it was amazing!!! We played records, both albums and 45's and watched old movies on the black and white TV. We played board games that were in the closet. It was so good to get... More

BIG Kudos to Robert & Derek for letting us check in early ( My wife was ill & needed a place to lay down. THE BAD ... Front gate would NOT open... Robert kept explaining that a "glitch" was in effect. If he wasn't there, we had to wait for a tenant to open the gate for us !! Somwtimes... More

This place was so wonderful! I had heard of it plenty, but never had a chance or reason to stay yet! So when the chance to visit Bisbee came up again - I immediately booked one of these vintage nostelgic camp trailers. We stayed 2 nites so that we would have time to do stuff. The place wasn't booked full,... More

This is my absolute favorite place to stay in Bisbee, or anywhere else for that matter. The trailers are retro inside and out. Ours had a turn table and we played Perry Como and Bossa Nova records (provided). The grounds have several nice BBQ's and charcoal and BBQ utensils are provided. There is a lovely gazebo and lawn chairs at... More

...but it is worth the experience. Funky, Fifties, and a Funny Place. In both ways, funny, that is. We stayed in the Spartan Royal Mansion, manufactured after WWll by J Paul Getty who made airplanes and switched to making these for the rising demand in housing. Our Mansion had a bathroom, but we needed to walk to the shower room... More

This place takes you back to the 50's. We stayed in #4 Spartanette which plenty of room for the two of us. They don't have wifi, but plenty of businesses in town do if you can't pat ways with your technology for the weekend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. While in Bisbee, I'd recommend the touring the Queen... More

We stayed in the Airfloat due to it being one of the larger RV's and it had both a toilet and shower. Unfortunately, when my mother was 1/4 thru her shower it ran out of hot water. We did not have hot water after that but we really didn't complain due to the community shower being a short walk away.... More

This little spot in Bisbee is certainly a nostalgic experience. I stayed in #3 one of the smaller trailers and was very happy with my experience. The owners do their best to keep in to the year which the trailers were built. I was pleasantly surprised to find a geocache close by the Shady Dell and in town.
