Extremely comfortable, very roomy. You will adore the six rooms and three suites such as the "Principal's Office Suite", the "Art Room", the "Reading Room" and more. Awarded "Fodor's Choice - 2006" as a preferred lodging establishment. Located one mile west of downtown Old Bisbee, this is definitely a "Quiet, Peaceful, Getaway" .

I had stayed at the Schoolhouse Inn about 10 years ago and it was very sweet. The owners were upbeat, the place was clean and bright. I really don't recall the breakfast. At that time I would have given the Inn 5 stars.~ Sadly, the Inn seems like it is spiraling down. The carpets were stained and curling. The corners of the room were dirty and dusty.~ There was too much Junky Christmas decorations in the hallway for me. The Host was grouchy and the hostess looked exhausted. I did not stay for breakfast. ~ The dining room was dark and outdated, and the hours for breakfast were 7:30am-8:30am. Too early for some vacationers like myself.~ I wish the owners luck on continuing running this Inn. I won't be back.

We have stayed at the School House Inn several times in the past and found it comfortable. This stay was not that. When we arrived the Proprietor John did not seem very happy to have us stay there. They also charged us $4 for processing...sorry but that's the cost of doing business. We stayed in a room with two beds in two different sections of the room. My bed squeaked something horrible. Every time I moved in the night it woke not only me but the person staying in the other room in the other bed. When we left I told the Paula, the other proprietor, about the squeak and she told me they had the bed for 15 years and never had a complaint and that I should have gone and slept in the other bed.....sorry but that bed was occupied. She was not at all interested in my discomfort or my bad nights sleep. At breakfast I asked if they had any sugar and instead of just showing me where it was, John yelled that they had everything you might want but didn't bother to show me where it was. All in all, we will never stay here again.

I begin a rating at three stars and add or subtract depending on if the property and service exceed my expectations or disappoint me. I was pleasantly surprised by the fun and quirky nature of the School House Inn. The school themed room I had was cozy and comfortable. The made from scratch daily breakfast was very good. Four stars for slightly exceeding my expectations.

We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly atmosphere. We felt like we were staying with Family and Friends. The rooms were spacious and each was decorated with an interesting theme. I have never felt more at home when traveling. The breakfast was 5 star and John the owner was a Gracious Host.

Tried something new staying at a bed and breakfast. Cute, quaint, and nostalgic. Rooms are beautiful large and comfortable. Wifie was surprised the rooms don’t have TV’s. I found this very romantic. The town of Bisbee is fun with its many shops. For us it is only 22 miles from my mothers house. Breakfast was good coffee was great all in all a quiet peaceful stay. The view is very cool!
