Wonderful campground. No hook ups but nice sites with a table and fire pit. Many double spaces and pull through's, but the back in sites are very generous too. Great views of the glaciers, nice hiking trails and a short drive to Whittier through the tunnel for a fun day trip.

We stayed there a week ago for one night. It was such a great experience we came back and stayed another night later in the week. They have a HUGE shed with a campfire in the middle. So rain or shine, you have a campfire. Lots of other RVers sitting around sharing stories....what a GREAT atmosphere! We HIGHLY recommend staying...

We camped here twice in a Motorhome. good sites, Electric only, level gravel and fine view. Hostess/owner is cheery and accommodating. Great campfire.cookout attitude. Nice hot showers NOte rating a campground on the hotel scales is always tricky. this is a nice campground

My boyfriend and I took a trip around Alaska, camping the entire way for a month. We accidentally stumbled upon this campground and it was our favorite by far! The host is a charming woman who has built a communal firepit and supplies all of the wood and seating. It provides a great opportunity to meet fellow travelers. She has...

If you like camping but didn't bring your tent and want a nice place to stay, the Portage Cove Campground is the place for you! We stayed in one of their 4 cabins which was so cozy and cute with the best bed ever! The views are spectacular and you are minutes away from hiking or going on a day...
