Detailed Reviews
We stayed here three nights with a tour group before and after going to Denali. It is in a beautiful location with great views and has all the necessary amenities except TV, which wouldn't have mattered to me if I hadn't wanted to watch the MLB all star game. Each room was unique and tastefully decorated and the whole place was very clean and comfortable with a game room and plenty of common area. There is no air conditioning but fans are available if the weather is warm. Each breakfast was different and all three were excellent. The owner was very friendly and helpful. This was a cool place and I enjoyed my stay but it would be difficult if you don't have a car or guide to get around as there is nothing within walking distance, although that is part of its charm. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We flew into anchorage in the evening and needed a place to stay before we headed to Denali. I really can’t say enough good things about this place and the hospitality. Only room that was left was the pioneer room, which the bathroom is down the hall. Don’t let that put you off as it’s still you’re bathroom. Breakfast was over the top…even making an egg free French toast for myself (egg allergy). It’s been awhile since I’ve stayed in a true bed and breakfast, but I’m going to start looking at them before other options again after this experience. If you are heading towards Denali/Fairbanks but need a place to stay….pass on similar priced chain hotels and make 40 minute drive to Wasilla
And stay here. It’s easily way worth it.

Our family of 4 arrived at this incredible place after a long day of driving from Fairbanks (the long way) and on our way to Homer. What a view, what a place! the pictures online don't do it justice, this is just what you need after any amount of driving, a piece of heaven on earth... We stayed at the Alaska Heritage Room, a very spacious, well-appointed 2 bedroom family-friendly space with a kitchen and a beautiful bathroom that included a washer and a dryer... If I would have known better, we would have spent our entire time in Alaska here, centrally located and with a spectacular view from any window. Amanda the host made us feel at home very easily and we appreciated the delicious breakfast that included homemade raspberry rolls. We were all sad to leave the place after just one night but we will cherish our memories and return as soon as life allows. Thank you for hosting us!

A beautiful inn with lovely rooms and breathtaking views. Amanda and family are welcoming and gracious. The breakfasts are delicious . Our family of 18 took over the inn and enjoyed the unique themed rooms, the game room and the feeling of being treated as family. We would have loved to stay longer.

We had a large group of family on a trip to Alaska and this was everyone’s favorite place we stayed. We felt it was like “home away from home”, the view is spectacular for your morning coffee or evening drink. The breakfast cooked by Amanda was delicious and we loved the decor of all the rooms. The living spaces including the game room were great for our family to relax in. If you are in the Wasilla or Palmer area, this is the place to stay!

I could seriously stay here a whole week! The rooms all had different titles and themes, and so cozy. And it was seriously one of the most amazing views anywhere. The host was so helpful, from setting out treats all around to having fresh fruit always available. And I can't say enough about the breakfasts! Never had biscuits and gravy before, but she definitely made me a convert. Our last morning, it was just the two of us, and she still made us pancakes, eggs, potatoes and sausage.
Such a warm, cozy, perfect place to stay; would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is the place to go! We happened upon this by looking for places on our way to Seward. So happy to have found this gem! Gorgeous views, quiet and calm environment. The bed and breakfast itself was amazing! Each room has a unique theme, we had the fishing room and all I can say is WOW!! Our hostess Amanda was outstanding! I kept forgetting about the time difference and was sending messages late into the evening and she still responded. We had to leave earlier than the breakfast time and she went out of her way to make us some amazing omelettes, blueberry pancakes and had fruit out for us. Like I said this is the place to go, a must stay place!

We (family of 4, with two teens) stayed here on our travels and we’re so impressed. Pool table, foose ball, games, 360 degree viewing room and sauna are just some of the activities that kept us busy. Room is clean and a nice size (we stayed in Iditarod and loved it) and breakfast in the morning was amazing and many options. Kids were so impressed by the fresh out of the oven lemon cream cheese coffee cake.

We enjoyed staying twice st the Pioneer Ridge B and B. Waking up each morning to an excellent hot homemade breakfast done perfectly by Amanda. He grease homemade cinnamon rolls were melt in your mouth good. The Inn is decorated to the T. We stayed in the Fishing room both times. The bear claw tub was very comfy. The view is amazing. We will be recommending this for years to come.

Stayed with a group on tour. Amanda makes the best lemon/blueberry pancakes, stickybuns, fritata, The diningroom and deck has an amazing view of the Chugach Mountains. We were in the fish room which has the most amazing fishing theme decor as do all rooms. Comfy bed and great hot shower. The host is very friendly and accommodating. We would love to visit again if we make it back to Alaska.

We prefer not to have dogs in the facility, due to allergies of other guests. I'm sorry.
