Cleft of the Rock is situated a little way out of the town of Tok, but once you get there you will be receive a warm welcome. The cabins are nicely decorated with comfortable beds and small but perfectly adequate bathrooms. Wifi was not available in the cabins but guests are free to sit on the porch of the main house to use the wifi. Breakfast was served in the main house and was plentiful and delicious - a full cooked breakfast as well as plenty of choices if you only want continental. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your review and your business. Sorry the wifi wasn't working at your cabin we did just add a third emitter to cover the cabins better although given our small town Alaska location we constantly struggle with having enough bandwidth to provide any speed. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

This place was definately family friendly. We stayed in " The Bears Den ". After driving there from Anchorage, walking in was like coming home. The hose was extremely friendly and very outgoing. There was fresh fruits for the kids and coffee for daddy. Now those of you who have kids know how much bath time can be a royal pain in the butt. Not here. Fill the tub, add a little bubble bath, and turn on the jets, and you just got yourself 20 minutes of giggling and laughter, which is a godsend. There was food stocked in the fridge, yougurt, cereal, milk, etc etc etc. The beds were soft and comfortable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and definately worth the money.

We were booked offically in the basement of the house but the host was offering us a cabin (we took the biggest one I guess). The cabin was great - bedroom upstairs and downstairs - little kitchenette. The only complain I have is that the TV is not very well positioned to the sofa. TV worked fine - but the WIFI is not possible in the cabins. Breakfast was absolutly faboulous.

Isabel thank you for your review. We have recently worked with our internet provider to more fully extend service to each cabin. I must admit though that even with our improved system small town Tok still doesn't have as fast a service as we'd like. Maybe someday we'll fully join civilization in that regard. Thanks again.

Loved our cozy “sourdough”cabin at the clef of the rock B&B. We had a wonderful visit and early breakfast with the owners. Our cabin was clean, warm and inviting. A perfect place from which to explore Tok and the surrounding area.

Chose Cleft of the Rock for ot's location, off the highway on quiet backroads. Shauna is a great host and prepares a wide variety of breakfast items,. If you go away hungry it's your own fault! The Miner's cabin is a cute spot for two with a refrigerator and TV. The wifi did not work so we checked in with home at a restaurant which had good cell service. As with nearly all the places we stayed the black out shades did not do the job. Adding heavy curtains to venetian blinds could make a great deal of difference. Staying at Cleft of the Rock helped break up a long trip from Fairbanks to Whitehorse and made the trip better.
