We stayed here coming and going on our rafting trip. The hosts John and Jill were amazing. They provided not only great cabins for our large group, but breakfast and dinner too. They have a huge greenhouse and serve what they grow to guests. You can take a hike to Tok river where the grayling run all summer. Can only give this place the highest recommendation.

We stayed with John and Jill somewhere around mid-August for four nights and we’re so happy and grateful for the days we spend there. If you’re around Tok, go to John and Jill. You will have the best time there! You might think, what does Tok have to offer? Well, the answer is very simple: whatever you desire, because that’s what John and Jill have in store for you! During your first dinner, they will ask you what you would like to do during your stay. As said, the possibilities are infinite. You can hike on one of the beautiful trails they set out, you can try your luck fishing, or you can paddle on one of the beautiful lakes and rivers near by. But those activities are just a glimpse of what John and Jill really have to offer. You want to help gather and cut wood, join a hunt during hunting season, explore the beautiful scenery by a four wheeler or eat hotdogs in the wilderness? John and Jill will accomodate pretty much every crazy wish you might have and you’ll have a wonderful time! The best reason, however, to go to the Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge is not the endless list of awesome activities, but it’s them - John and Jill. They are wonderful, incredibly kind and wholehearted people. To us, it was obvious that they love what they do and that shows in every single detail during your trip there. I could probably go on and on about our stay there, but I’ll just keep it short: It was amazing, fun and just such an out-of-this-world experience for us and we are so grateful for that. John and Jill, thanks again, we won’t ever forget our stay there! Rose & Bas, The Hague

There is so much to do and see at Wilderness Lodge! We stayed in the Eagle's Nest cabin which was very comfy and warm. There are bikes to explore the area, fishing poles to fish in the nearby creek, a playhouse for the kids, and a sauna & hot tub to unwind after a day of fun. We encountered a moose on the road to the lodge. Owners, John & Jill are simply wonderful! We enjoyed a scrumptious dinner and a delightful breakfast before heading to Fairbanks.

It takes some time to reach the property from the main road but this also adds to their wonderful location and surrounding scenery. You find the sound of silence in the rippling of the creek behind the cabins. We were housed in one of the cabins that are very well equipped and very clean. We were a party of eight and one couple had to stay in a more remote cabin with less amenities. There was no in-cabin washroom and electricity was available through batteries, which was a problem for a CEPAD device. The owners, Jill and John, make you feel very welcome and prepare you a nice evening meal and healthy high quality breakfast with a lot of own grown produce. After our arrival we relaxed in the hot tub in open air. The kids played on the Zip-cable and after that we went for a fishing experience. In the evening there was a bonfire with a marshmallows BBQ and with all the participants nicely socializing. Parking is absolutely no problem. Wifi was available in the main building, more unstable in the cabins. Absolutely recommended.

We are so impressed from our one night stay at this most beautiful lodge. I am absolutely in awe that we feel so absolutely refreshed and re-grounded and re-grouped from just one night's stay! John and Jill are absolutely the most kind, wonderful people we came across on our trip, who made our entire family feel so welcome! Our kids had the most fun they have had yet playing in the play structures, also in the yard, having fun by he campfire, and so much fun on the zip line. 😊 From the most delicious home cooked dinners, to amazing fun conversations and such fantastic interactions from our whole stay, we couldn't be more grateful that we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a beautiful lodge. This is the first time our whole trip that I slept as soundly and solidly as I have in the beautiful log cabins! We truly thank you both for an amazing experience, and really look forward to returning next summer! Big hugs!
