We arrived early evening and all was ready for our arrival. We had paid extra for a sea view room, when we were taken there we realized that it would be to difficult for my husband to walk up and down the slight incline. We returned to reception and within 15 minutes we had been changed to a bungalow just off reception, this was perfect for us. Many thanks to Eslam for sorting this and what a pleasant young man he was. The room was very clean and spacious, a bit tired round the edges but we slept very well. Our room boy Khaled was very efficient and the room always looked great. It was always very clean all around the complex and one of the pools was always heated. There was a bar open in the middle pool and all the barmen where very helpful, sorry can’t remember their names. The beach was very close and there were toilets, bar and snack bar available. It was windy whilst we were there so the beach man was always helpful in sorting out the windbreakers so that we were comfortable. We never used the spa. The food was plentiful and the array of breads and pastries were the best we have ever seen. The omelet man was always busy and cooked a lovely fried egg. There was always fresh fruit and lovely looking cakes. Coffee and tea were always available at all times. Food was warm and always contained some authentic Egyptian food. The bar was very pleasant although they only had a limited selection of drinks, the gin and tonic was very nice. Entertainment was good, mostly different dance troops brought in but there was a resident singer who was lovely. Only shops were in the 5 sister hotels and there was no other shops or bars within walking distance but that didn’t bother us. You were able to change sterling notes to Egyptian at the ATM in the next hotel, Jax Grand Marsa. Excellent hotel and everyone were very kind and helpful. Will be back at some point, can’t wait.

We arrived at the Reef Marsa after dark and were welcomed with cocktails. The receptionists were very helpful as were the porters who took our bags to our room. Even though it was night, the complex was lit up beautifully and so easy to navigate as it is in a horseshoe shape all around the pools.
The room is the only reason I can't give this hotel 5/5. You could tell it had just been renovated as you could smell the fresh paint on entering. The only issue with the room was the bathroom which has definitely seen better days although it was all very clean and tidy. However, we were given a courtesy room on the last day and you could see that the bathroom had been beautifully renovated too, so it looks like ours was one that hadn't been done yet.
The cleaning staff were wonderful and always left different towel creations on the bed, much to the amusement of our 3yr old. I liked the way there was a curtain separating the master bed from the children's beds. The only other things about the room were that it could have done with blackout curtains and an airer for wet clothes on the terrace/balcony (I noticed these were being installed in some rooms as we were leaving). The TV has some English movie channels and BBC World News and popular football teams (Liverpool) were shown on the BEIN Sport channel.
WiFi was easy to access and had good coverage and strength except on the beach. I was able to stream Netflix.
There are 3 pools, one which is heated but it still felt cold to me because it's quite windy. The beach is lovely although rocky (take some beach shoes/suitable flip flops). There is a porter? on the beach who will help with the beds and wind breaks. The beach bar is manned by Akram who is so friendly and makes the best cocktails. Ask for a Mai Tai. Better yet, ask for a surprise! The food at the beach bar is also the best with great burgers, sandwiches and the nicest pizza I've ever had. The pier on the beach is well worth a trip down to see all the coral and fish on the reef.
The food in the restaurant started off fine with an Asian theme and English theme night. It generally had nice pasta and rice dishes but some of the dishes weren't to our taste. Breakfast was the usual affair of cooked foods, pastries and cereals. The wait staff were wonderful though. Amir and Sammy in the restaurant deserve a shout for being so friendly and always bringing our drinks over at breakfast and dinner.
The bar in the evening was always lively and they had some "interesting" entertainment such as games, karaoke etc, plus a singer. Hesham, in the bar, was super and kept us topped up with our favourite drinks, always chatty and having a laugh.
All in all, our holiday was a nice relaxing break made all the better by the staff. It's the staff that give the hotel a great vibe.

Just back from a fantastic week at the Suneo. The hotel itself is just the right size and the atmosphere calm and relaxed with a real feeling of ensuring you are happy and welcomed guests. We paid a little extra for a room with a sea view which also took in the beach as well as the pool area and it was totally worth it. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the animations team not overly cheesy or pushy (loved the mini mini disco!) and the massage /excursions hawkers soon get the message if you aren't interested.
The food is really good with plenty of choice and variety. I'd encourage you to try Egyptian cuisine whilst you're there too, its yummy! The deserts chef is a genius and the drink flows a-plenty :)
We ventured out of the hotel on one day to Abu Dabbab beach using the local excursions guy in reception and it was well worth it to go to the spend the whole day in this beautiful location with Ali's Zaza juice bar on hand , a chilled beach vibe, coral reefs and colourful fish.
Also snorkelling off the hotel pier, which was very convenient, we spent the majority of our time by the middle pool with the very able Botros manning the bar. Such a kind, courteous and warm person, always with a smile and making sure we had everything we needed. A perfect holiday in a little oasis of paradise. Thank you.

Stayed for 1 week mid-February, Hotel is 10 Mins from the airport, check-in was very smooth and welcome to the hotel with a drink waiting for us. First room had just been painted and was too strong for us to stay but the Fabuless Abdul showed us to some other rooms until we were happy. Nothing was to much trouble for him. Only one pool was heated and could be with a bit warmer, also should heat the pool with the swim-up bar in it. Beach is spotless and amazing views as was the sea, stunning underwater views. Drinks are ok, beer good, could be with better wine. food was also good and chefs would check daily with you and if you could not find something when would try there best to make it. It is the staff that make this hotel all try very hard to please you. Massive thanks to Abdul the night porter, great with all the kids. Need to work on the nightly entertainment very lacking, would defiantly retrun.

The resort is very clean and has some excellent swimming pools. The choice of food is great, there was always plenty of variety from vegetables and salads to different meat dishes on offer from a number of cultures.
The rooms are basic but this was not an issue for us as we spend most of the time outside. The walk in shower was however very nice.
We were overwhelmed by the staff and all of their hard work. The cleaners in the rooms went above and beyond their duties and made some special touches in the rooms. Molly made my daughter’s holiday very special with the mini disco every night and also did a fantastic Yoga and Pilates session each morning which me and my partner attended. The waiters were also very personable to us and remembered our drinks on an evening.
I love swimming in the sea and found the reef the most spectacular experience. Overall I would recommend this hotel and resort.

Where to start!! I’ll easily sum it up - we booked to return in the spring before we left to go home!! The whole place is fantastic. All the staff and I mean ALL are so polite, kind , helpful, hard working and dedicated- from the bars, beach, restaurant, housekeeping, reception , entertainment, security and anyone I’ve missed. The place is spotless, it feels ultra safe, the snorkelling is 2nd only i’ve found to the Maldives and the attention to detail is out of this world. All the staff took to my 11 year old son and he felt like part of the team. It felt like he was involved in so many activities we only saw him when he wanted feeding!! The food was the best I have experienced on an all inclusive holiday. Head chef Saleh Abo El Yazeed and his staff provided such tasty, varied, interesting and wonderful offerings meal after meal after meal There are 3 people who deserve a special mention , they are Abdel and Hassan on the beach, and Abdel from housekeeping who kept our room (No.4011) spotless with some amazing touches! If i had to find a lesser positive (negative is definitely the wrong word to use here), it would be that the wifi was ok in the room or reception but was pretty much non existent everywhere else, not a big deal to me or my wife, but to an 11 year old it is a must have essential, however I understand this is to be improved very soon
We like to try different places, but after Suneo club reef marsa we will it find it very difficult to equal, let alone better!
We cannot recommend this place highly enough, and the value for money is going to be hard to beat.
We cannot wait to return !!!!!

Abdel Fattah and Hassan, they have a smile all day. They arrange the seating’s at the beach and help you get in the perfect position for the sun. They speak good English. Abdel speaks: allemachtig prachtig Dutch. Hassan is very good to have on your team of Volleyball at the end of the day when he has a little spare time, during arranging the beach to be in perfect condition for the next day.
Akram and Mohamed, are the best bartenders of the snacks they arrange good double burgers and have a lot of fun doing this. Snacks are very good and special made to the personal needs. They speak good English and arrange the good drinks and remember them for future needs.
Hisham, always happy and funny lobby bartender speaks very good English and likes to make a joke once and a while. He also remembers what drinks your ordering so this is very helpful.
Mohammed and Ali, very good and happy all day. They make very nice sculptures of the towels in the room. They also arrange fresh beach towels every day they will swap the one you used for fresh new ones. The rooms are always clean after you return from your day at the pool, beach or whatever your daily fun time was. They all take good care of the wife’s so no need to arrange a babysitter for them.
The food in general tastes good and a lot of choices. But if you want to go for lunch Akram and Mohamed are in the Snacks at the beach arranging the best double burgers, pizza, deserts and salads available. The thing that can be improved is the WiFi that could be better. Almost no connecting in and around building 40. (Picture added with Akram and Mohammed).

Due to the demise of thomas cook we had to change and book an unknown to us or any friends What a great choice from arriving in resort to a reluctant departure we were treated like old friends or even family by staff throughout. Sammy and his team in the restaurant Mohamed and Akram at the beach restaurant. Only 1 pool was heated but plenty of space around all pools with towels supplied and changed daily at your room. bars and pool bar served drinks that are of a good standard for local spirits and were always remembered and served by Boutros Alaa and the guys we never wanted for anything.Food was varied in the main restaurant and always well presented and hot. New year buffet is something I haven't stopped talking about since coming home. Animation by Heesham and Marley was best described as a week of fun but not pushy Rooms spotless and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Took a trip on the quads that was also a highlight

Just come back from the reef marsa after a family break the place is amazing the staff can't do enough for you and are also very friendly. It's a short walk to the beach but take some beach shoes as you will need them as the coral is quite sharp but again the sea is so clear it's like being in a live aquarium and you also get your beach towels provided. Now back to the hotel the room's are cleaned every day without fail fresh bottled water as well and maybe the odd animal on your bed nice little touch. If you're expecting a full English Breakfast you ain't getting one but the chef will do you fried eggs and omelettes to order there is plenty of choice at dinner and tea too as well as the snack bar on the beach that does burgers hot dogs and pizzas etc. The only downside to this hotel is there is a lot of stairs bit hard when you have got a pram other than that can't fault it.

There were 5 of us for the Christmas period, check in was quite slow but drinks were provided. Also we were given adjacent rooms which was much appreciated. We had room 2212 which is on the top floor and was quite a distance from reception. There are no lifts so if you have mobility problems the ground floor rooms near reception would be between best. The rooms were nice enough, the cleaning staff were good and the towel art a nice touch. There is a choice of pools and as the hotel was very quiet we could always have a choice of sunbeds. We used the heated pool near the beach. The pool bar opens at 10am and all staff were efficient. The beach is kept immaculate. There are a lot of fish near the jetty. There is also a beach bar near the jetty, we didn't use this bar as the menu here was quite limited. The food in the main restaurant was in theain very good. Breakfast was nice with eggs and omelette freshly cooked and a wide selection of yoghurt, fruits and pastries. Lunch was more limited but we all found foods we liked. The soups were always good. Dinner had a larger choice with food being replenished constantly. The staff were all lovely and a special mention to Sayed who made my mums holiday. The bar staff were all good although alcohol quality varies from bar to bar. The evening entertainment in the bar was abysmal a succession of female singers and guess the song. There were shows outside but as other people have mentioned it was cold in the evenings and no outside heating was provided. The animation team was small probably sue to the time of year. But Martley was always fun and tried his best to be inclusive. We did have problems with the rooms being cold. The heating in one of the rooms worked until we mentioned it to reception who said no heating was available. Sure enough the next day the heating was turned off. They did provide extra duvets though. The New Year's Eve festivities were held next door and this was a lovely evening. The buffet was stunning and the entertainment was great. A good hotel in the main, but room for improvement in some areas.
