I could wax lyrical for ages about this resort as we really enjoyed our month long stay there, (not for the first time). Despite arriving quite late there were a number of staff, including Mr Ibrahim (the general manager), there to greet us. Also a cold meal was provided as we had missed dinner. Our room was excellent, spacious and on the ground floor (essential as my travelling companion has a wheelchair). The cleaning of it was great and Eid should be congratulated on his work. As previously, we were the only British people there for the whole of our stay but virtually all of the staff speak English so communication was no problem. Most other guests were from Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Czechia & Belgium. It is a Belgian Company. The food was good, on the whole, and buffet style. Sometimes this meant a small queue for certain things; like eggs in et morning. However, the staff were friendly and managed the situation well. There are coffee machines in both bars which serve good and various coffees as well as hot chocolate. A hot water urn allows for tea drinkers and at the Panorama bar there is a daily ice cream machine. The only problem, eating too much so clothes won't fit! Getting around the site was a little challenging with a wheelchair but not impossible and we were often offered help. There is a slope down to the beach but the very bottom of it is very steep. The alternative is a set of steps which are quite uneven but there is a handrail. There are many sun umbrellas on the beach but the instructions of not pre booking one by leaving towels there are not adhered to. If you don't want a longish walk then you need to get down to the beach early. We didn't use the pool area so don't know if the same applied there. We were well looked after by the beach staff and always found a space without having to push the chair miles across the sand. Beach towels are provided and can be changed when needed so no need to add your own to your luggage. This was very useful to know in advance to manage the luggage allowance. We snorkelled almost every day but you do need to take substantial coral shoes as entry to the water is very stony. The sea goes out quite a long way so it isn't a case of 'put on the flippers and go'. The variety of fish and other marine life is very good as was the visibility and we were pleased to see that the reef was in a better state than on our last visit. Having been to both The Maldives & Seychelles the coral here is better. If you want to dive there is a dive school on site with a good reputation. A great facility is the availability of showers, within the toilet block, on the beach. It was good to be able to wash off the salt and get changed into dry swimwear. A great amenity! We like it quiet so a boisterous animation programme doesn't suit us. The staff of the animation team changed several times during our stay so often there was little happening. What was put on often didn't match what we had been told or didn't happen at all. Not a problem for us! The few shows we did see varied in their professionalism; some very good and others quite poor. The whirling Dervish was, however, a must to see! The gardens are well tended and a real plus. The gardeners are working daily to keep everything nice. It has to be one of the highlights of this place. There are people offering services such as facials, massages & fish eating your dead skin; but they do not disturb you if you have a red flag on your windbreak. We found these people were great to talk to and were not pushy once they realised you weren't interested. Many of them wanted to practise their English and were interesting to talk to. I would like to thank Mr Ibrahim and all his staff for looking after us so well. Also a thank you to Ruud who shared his daily snorkelling footage with us. He had some amazing pictures which encouraged us to go looking for more unusual sea creatures. WE did see Red Octopus, Moray Eel, Blue Spotted Sting Rays, a Moses Sole and lots of other things. I feel like a kid getting excited bout it all. We will return! The only real negative was that the flights from London to Marsa Alam have not been reinstated since the pandemic so we had to fly into Hurghada then take a 2 hour taxi ride. It was well worth it & we would do it again.…

Snorkeling is really beautiful at the house reef, which is reachable from the beach (the reason we chose this hotel). It was also really awesome that we spotted a Dugong at the same beach in front of the hotel. The hotel was quite small, which we liked. The room wasn't very fancy but it was clean, which was fine for us since we were basically always outside. The only downside for us was that we didn't really like the food, but this was our first all-inclusive experience, so we don't know how it compares to other all-inclusive places.

Very good hotel, warm welcome when arriving and leaving by co manager Ruud(NL) , who was always available for questions and help, and as snorkling leader/guide in the beautiful coral reef near the hotel or pier. The food was good and always different every day (went 3 weeks). The restaurant employees were friendly .Our room (1111) was good cleaned dialyse and no towel issues ore anything,thx for that. Poolbar employee was very attenful ,motivated and with a smile. Beach towel service is easy at the pool and also at the beach ,juist exchange or get your ticket for next day..The management team was every day around for checking everything to your liking and improvement. As minor point,Wifi could be stronger ,watershoes recommended when you go swimming. Never went to evening or any animation,so nothing i can say about that. Lovely stay, we know this hotel from Three Corners chain, were in this hotel for the 3rd time. The food is fantastic, is not about quantity but about quality, products are reused, very good! And then also unexpected late afternoon fruit festival! Reef in front of the door, you can always snorkel, fantastic (private) pool, panoramic wooden building for drinks, lunch, view, animation and so on. Unfortunately, the beds are already reserved before 7 o'clock in the morning by guests who you only see late in the morning or only after lunch. This means that guests have to get up very early during their holiday to be able to stay on the beach. A nice covered terrace would be an absolute must for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I was very satisfied with this hotel. What is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think back to the hotel? It is the wonderful garden with flowers, the friendly staff, the kitchen that could cook very European (I have experienced differently), the clean room. There are many small pieces of the puzzle that make up the charm. Garden: Lovingly designed and enormous effort! It was very impressive and I took many walks to enjoy this. Food/Drinks: I always found something and the condiments were also very well applied. Unfortunately, I often had problems in other hotels. I can not say much about the drinks as I am a tea drinker and it was always available everywhere so I was very very satisfied. There was also a bar down by the sea. Cleanliness: Our room was always clean and the staff was very nice. Snorkeling/Diving: Ideal for me as I was able to do both. Of course there are higher quality hotels but you have to see the price-performance ratio here and this is right! It is also the flight that makes up a large part of the price of the trip. Now 2 suggestions whereby the first, the renewal of the interior would also be accompanied by a price increase and is therefore not so important for me. The second point, is the way to the hotel. I have left the hotel several times and thus had time to look :-) There could perhaps also be a renewal. But the plants are chic :-) Thanks, we will come back. …

The resort is unique with hospitality from the staff First they allow us for early check in 8am The rooms are nice clean Food was good quality but not much variety due to the small size of the resort The house reef is amazing with variety of coral reef and colored fish we could swim with a turtle there Animation team are not professional but nice guys do their best to please the guests It's the third visit to equinox and will not be the last !! In our opinion, the level of accommodation completely corresponded to our expectations and the price level of the hotel. We were really happy with the chosen location, which offered fantastic snorkeling locations. Furthermore, we really liked the checkered layout of the hotel, which contributed to a great degree of privacy and met the requirements for relaxation in a romantic environment. The adjacent gardens were also beautiful with lots of trees, flowers, etc... There was always plenty of food and especially the sweets were exclusive... Thank you to the entire hotel staff for a very nice holiday. The only suggestion for improvement would be protection against mosquitoes. They recommended installing insect nets in all the windows, then the stay would be basically perfect.…
