The hotel complex is older but very clean and well maintained. We stayed here nine days and felt very comfortable. If whining can be done, it is only at a very high level. Among the predominantly older audience there are many regulars. The really great service is worth highlighting. From the roomboy to the service staff in the restaurants to the busy guys on the beach, everyone is doing a really great job. The beach is really nice and even we as non-snorkelers got to see some great fish. On the positive side, there are no beach vendors except for the guys from the spa. Loungers on the beach are ample, but for sun-seekers it is best to go there very early, as the umbrellas are quite tight. The facility is a bit old, but always very clean and the beds are good. The food selection and quality is really top and the presentation of the food offered is clean and well-ordered. Service quality is outstanding in all areas of the hotel. The facility is located near the airport in Coraya Bay. However, the airport transfer in the bus takes about 45 minutes, as other hotels are initially served. Especially for night flights, it is therefore worth considering taking a taxi, which will then take only 10 - 15 minutes. We have been going to the Steigenberger Coraya Beach hotel in Marsa Alam regularly for several years.
Every time we are surprised by the ambience and the very friendly staff. The hotel and the complex are very well maintained and clean, thanks to the hard-working employees/gardeners who do their best every day in the hot weather.

This is my 5th time at the Steigenberger Coraya Beach - a lot of things are absolutely familiar to me from my previous visits and yet I keep discovering new things 😊 this time I travelled to the Steigenberger Coraya Beach for the very first time at Christmas/New Year's Eve. There was a marquee which was set up especially for the guests on December 24th and December 31st. Both the head chef Mr Sayed and the Food & Beverages Manager Mr Shaheen and their teams had made a lot of effort to cater to all tastes and so it was not surprising that both managers and their teams were recognised in the celebratory speech by the hotel manager Mr Baghat. Before heading to the marquee, each of the guests could enjoy one of the many different cocktails that were decorated on high tables around the pool area. I also found both the fireworks and the fire show as part of the pre-opening programme very entertaining. I would also like to praise the service and guest-oriented employees of this hotel: At the reception, you are always served very politely and friendly, both on arrival, during your stay and on departure. They personally accompany you to your room and pass on all important information. There is also a screen that introduces the hotel and gives tips on snorkeling, etc. Next to the reception is the tour operator's information area to give travelers an overview of possible excursion destinations and flight information.
