First of all we would like to thank the whole of Jaz Maraya team . They were friendly, welcoming and were so engaged to make our stay as memorable as possible. I personally want to thank Mr Atef Hussein and Mr Hesham Helmy who personally made time to speak with us and they made me have a wonderful birthday.
We are looking forward for our next trip in Jaz Maraya
Restaurant.. the food was really delicious and there was a big variety of Food whether it was breakfast , lunch or dinner . The a la carte restaurant sea horse was our favorite . A big compliment to the kitchen chef as he knows exactly how to spoil the guests .I recommend the beef steak .You will not be disappointed.
The pool area is very spacious and it has been divided into two areas . One side is not heated and the other side is heated . We used the heated area as , we were there in end of February beginning of March so it was windy and not as hot as in the summer months. We enjoyed it as the water temperature was perfect not too warm and not too cold .
For the beach , snorkelers and diving lovers , the Jaz Maraya doesn’t have a direct access to the sea . As there is a reef right in front of the hotel . All the guests are allowed to use the other Jaz hotels beach side ( Jaz Lamaya and Jaz Solaya ) which is just only 5 minutes walk . There , the beach is perfect and there are enough sun beds which are all under a sunshade . For the snorkelers and divers , there is a jetty that allows you to directly access the waters . While spending ours days at this beach spot , we could always eat and drink as there was a pizza spot , drinking spot , sandwich spot , ice spot , waffle spot . This was really comfortable.
The room was a superior double room which was clean and had a very comfortable bed . The room was cleaned daily and towels could be changed as often as we wanted . This also applied with the beach The animation team was really friendly and engaged. They really payed attention not to have the music too loud at the pool area as not all guests want it loud . There were daily activities like yoga , stretching , darts , pool aerobics etc . For the evening program, it was in front of the lobby area ( outside ) where different animation teams would present their shows afterwards, there was always a different live singer until about 11pm . We were glad that the evening shows were moved inside as , for out time of visit , it was too cold to sit outside and enjoy ourselves. Big thanks to animation team leader Mou . I am writing this review on our last day at the Jaz Maraya hotel where my husband and I spent a really lovely seven-day break. Everything about our stay here has been exceptional and we are sorry to be returning home tomorrow.
Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and plenty of hot water. It was cleaned to the highest standards, daily, by Mahmoud, and every day he left a different, beautiful towel sculpture on our bed! The one for my husband’s birthday was just brilliant - a ‘birthday cake’ made of towels, with two towel ‘hearts’ and rose petals and balloons on the bed!
The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout and we were impressed to see hand sanitiser for guests’ use on a pillar at the entrance to the restaurant! There are two lovely large pools and a pool for kids, and there are plenty of sun beds.
The staff are amazing! We have stayed in some lovely, friendly hotels over the years but can honestly say that the Jaz Maraya is the friendliest we have ever been to. Everyone is so cheerful, friendly and helpful; nothing is too much trouble. The attention is as if we are the hotel’s only guests!
Thank you to all the staff at the Jaz Maraya, especially: *Ayman Elshawadfy, the Food and Beverage Manager, who asked us every time we saw him if everything was okay and if we needed anything at all. *Hensham Helmy, the Rooms Division Manager who introduced himself to us, wished us the very best for our stay and told us to let him know if there was anything we needed. *Ahmed and Hatem in the main restaurant, who served us with smiles every day, asked how we slept and they too asked if there was anything we needed. *Hossan in the Seahorse restaurant, for whom nothing was too much trouble and if he spotted us nearby he would immediately rustle up our drinks without us asking! *Hensham in the lounge bar and his delightful team. Hensham was friendly, jovial and and attentive - noticing empty glasses and replenishing them straight away *Last but not least, the animation team; they were brilliant and made sure that everyone had a good time.
I spent most of 2018 and half of 2019 undergoing gruelling treatment for cancer, so such a lovely relaxing and luxurious holiday for the two of us was just what we needed.
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We will be back!

This was not our first visit to Egypt, and we have even been to Madinat Coraya several times, but we were still really impressed by this brand-new hotel.
All started well at the reception desk with a complimentary refreshing drink and a towel to clean our hands. We were then accompanied to our room and our bags followed quickly. Our room was modern and big with a separate sleeping area that could be closed off from the rest of the room. Our only remark is that our balcony never had any sun although we asked for it at check-in. If we return in the future, we will opt for the other side of the hotel, which has morning sun.
The hotel grounds and pools are well kept, and the rooftop area is a real haven of tranquility. One of the pools is heated which is a necessity in this time of year. The beach area is not that inviting, but you can walk along the promenade to reach better areas to enter the sea for swimming and snorkeling. With the windy weather we experienced in February it would also be better to install some wind breakers at the beach and around the pool.
We enjoyed most of our meals in the main restaurant where we were able to dine outside on most occasions. Breakfast was good but could have been excellent if the juices were of better quality (the orange juice is to sweet and is more like Fanta unfortunately). Lunch and dinner were tasty but could have benefitted from a little more variation.
What we really enjoyed was the quality of the drinks and cocktails. All were well served cold and tasted good.
A final word for the hotel’s biggest assets, it’s personnel. From the first night we were impressed by all bar personnel and this remained that way for the entire week. The staff in general was very helpful, friendly and spoke good English. Special mentions to Wael (reception), Mahmoud (lobby bar), Ahmed (Lobby bar) for their entertaining stories, company and great service.
We can recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again for our next visit to Egypt.

I spent my Eid Holidays here. The entire team welcomed me like family and always had a big smile on their faces. Every single one always tried to make you comfortable and u would wake up every single morning to them smiling and willing to help you. The hygiene was amazing. Everything here was clean and if you are a person who doesn’t like to sleep in hotel beds because of the hygiene of it, here you don’t need to worry it’s so clean and every day they clean the rooms. The food is a 1000/10. The chefs are very talented and are very good. Every night there are shows including Brazilian Dancing, Oriental Dancing and even kids shows. The Animation team are always around and are very fun with a lot of crazy games that will make you very active.
I recommend this Hotel a lot especially Jaz Maraya and hope to come again very soon.

The hotel is completely new, built in 2019 and opened only for few months due to coronavirus, everything very modern and stylish. Rooms are clean and spacious. Service amazing, very attentive staff, always extremely helpful. It was a real pleasure spending our honeymoon here, everything went smooth. We had the chance to have a dinner in a la carte restaurant, I had a beef steak which was absolutely delicious, I would never expect such steak in Egypt. Nothing was really a problem, there is also a roof top bar and pool bar which we enjoyed everyday, everything was all inclusive. We would definitely recommend and come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Jaz Maraya, would strongly recommend the hotel. The hotel Staff is really helpful and kind, we felt really as guests, taken care of. Starting with the reception, waiters, hotel managers and housekeeping Staff, everyone was super friendly and responsive to any of our requestes. The hotel is really clean (rooms, reception, polo, beach, restaurant), definetly above the standard we saw in other hotels in Egypt. The hotel is also following safety measures against covid (Staff wearing masks, hand sanitizers available everywhere in the hotel, as well as masks and gloves, the Staff is making sure guests are wearing masks while in the restaurant as well), which is not always a thing in Egypt. The food was tasty and good selection of drinks. The garden is amaizing, so green and flowery! The only small drawback - the rooms could be more soundproof (but I believe it's always like this in Egypt), sleeping in earplugs solved the problem. The bed was really comfortable and I slept like a baby. All in all, we felt really well taken care of and if we are ever coming back to Marsa Alam, we would definetly choose Jaz Maraya!

Today we came back from our dream vacation in Jaz Maraya. From the beginning of our stay, we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived at the hotel at 23.00 where dinner was waiting for us in the restaurant. Every day in this hotel is a wonderful moment. Meals: * served in the form of a buffet. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, various dishes and very tasty. In the restaurant cleanly, waiters take care of order and a nice atmosphere. We were served by Taha, whom we greet warmly :). Bars by the pools where you could not only have a lunch but also cool down with delicious drinks. And here also the service at the highest level. Everyone is smiling. Greetings to bartender Mohamed :). Pools / Animation: Pools are extremely clean. A group of animators kept the guests entertained from morning to evening, both at the swimming pool and later during the common evenings. Greetings to Taz and the entire team of animators :). Rooms: We had a room with an amazing sea view. Housing clean rooms, daily cleaned, towels changed every day, fresh mineral water supplied as well as additional towels changed daily for the pool. Managers and hotel management look after the guests. There wasn't a day when someone from the management didn't talk to us about our stay and our needs. Our opinion does not describe all of our positive feelings about the stay at Jaz Maraya. The hotel is situated in the beautiful scenery of the Red Sea. There is a beautiful coral reef next to the hotel, which can be accessed via two jetties. At one place there is a beautiful cove where dolphins swim. In Jaz Maraya, we also had a large aqua park at our disposal, which met our and our children's expectations in 200%. The hotel fully deserves 5 stars and the very satisfied guests we are. We will definitely be back there.

Beautiful, modern hotel with lots of privacy. Instead of crowded beach in the bay you can relax in private small bays on the treasure/rock where the hotel is located. There is short walking distance to 2 jetties to explore some kilometers of reef along the hotels. Snorkeling between the hotel jetties (Coraya Bay ->Alaya-> Three Corners and also Coraya towards Jaz Grand) is a great experience. You can meet a lot of fish, rays and turtles. The service and hotel management is excellent responding to your wishes immediately (sometimes even before you address them) . In the evening you can take a long walk along the promenade, enjoy live music at the pool or at the roof bar looking at the stars and listening to the sea. Do not expect loud parties here but you can visit them (foam party, beach party) at the hotels nearby. The food is excellent especially at the main restaurant and the sea food dinner at SeaHorse restaurant. Great service again, your waiter is keeping a table for you where you usually sit and remember your drinking preferences (we always ordered beer). The Safa restaurant at Jaz Dar Al Medina we recommend less, the other restaurants we did not try. The family room are spacious but here we recommend to choose sea view since garden view are exposed to children's playground and childrens pool. The rooms are modern (european style) and we could only complain about very hard beds and pillows. The last we exchanged for smaller ones. We recommend rooms 1231-1239 with sea view but not overlooking the pool which are very quiet. In the entire hotel complex Madinat Coraya you can walk and use the beach. There are some shops and pharmacy (100m from the entrance to the hotel area) and also Bedouin tent with sheesha and aqua park (rather for older kids and adults) . All perfectly organized for a perfect vacation experience. This might be one of the first hotels we ever come back, mainly due to the excellent service and customer care but also the location.

We spent 14 days at the Jaz Maraya hotel. We have been to Egypt 9 times, but this hotel surprised us incredibly with a professional and very friendly atmosphere and the best service we have ever experienced. All staff have one goal: to create the best holiday experience for the guest. It is very clean everywhere, indoors and outdoors. There are always plenty of free sunbeds on the beach and by the pools, the water in the pools is crystal clear and the pools are well maintained. The food was excellent and despite the more limited selection (thanks to COVID restrictions in Europe, the hotel was little occupied) was always of first class quality. The only downside is that the hotel does not have its own beach with a gradual entry into the sea (you need to walk about 500 m along the cliff). We definitely recommend the hotel to everyone who wants to experience real well-being and a relaxing holiday. Thank you to the staff and animators of the Jaz Maraya hotel for a great 14 day holiday

We spend for the second time our vacation at Jaz Maraya and again it was amazing and perfect. From the moment we arrived it felt like coming home. It was lovely to see everyone like Mr Ayman , Mr Mohammed en Mr. Hesham, Mr Atef, back. The resort was very nice decorated for the Christmas and New year, we spend these days together with friends and it was amazing, everything was well arranged, the buffet was a lust for the eye , it was fantastic, delicious and very tasty, the kitchen team did an amazing work. All honor goes to Mr. Ayman Eshawadfy and his team to make it all perfect, he is doing an amazing work from early in the morning until late at night, nothing is to much trouble to keep the guests satisfied. From the breakfast to the dinner is everything well arranged, the buffets are themed and every night different. I cannot imagine that there are people who have comments or having complains about this resort.
All the staff is friendly and helpfull, from the lobby to the restaurant, bars and rooms departement , everyone is doing their best to make your stay amazing. Thank you Moustafa for keeping our room every day so nice and clean. Mou, Sally, Omar, Ariana etc. Of the animation team , thank you for the entertainment and talks during our stay.

Hallo, es werden lokale alkoholische Getränke angeboten. Sie mixen Ihnen jeden gewünschten Cocktail. Ausländische (originale) alkoholische Getränke werden berechnet. Wir waren in einem italienischen À-la-carte-Restaurant für ein ausgezeichnetes Steak. Alles in allem inklusive. Es gab guten Wein (kostenlos), aber auch Markenwein, der bezahlt werden musste.
