I visited this hotel in first half of June 2021. I had covid test and visa from departure country so on airport was everything quick. Guys there were friendly and helpful. We went to hotel by bus and it took 5 mins from airport. I got the room before 10am and all-inclusive wristband as well. Room was really big,nice and clean. You can smoke on balcony. All hotel isn't extremely big,what I was really happy. Hotel wasn't opened for long time post covid so they had just 10-15% occupied. All staff inside were wearing mask and we had chance to use sanitisers in lots of places. We were able to choose food in dining room, every second table was labelled not to use to keep social distance. Swimming pool for small kids, and deeper was max 140 cm deep. Possibility to use water attraction in next hotel. Guys in swimming bar were lovely, so thanks to Khalid,Nasa and rest...if someone wants to go to swim to sea its little bit difficult as there were big waves but it was possible to go 500 metres on left and swim in laguna. If someone loves to go for diving or scorching so ask the seller there,good black guy(sorry I forgot his name).Animators tried to keep all of us occupied,they were really friendly and funny,thanks all of you. After dinner we had every night some program.What I loved to use there, were massages. As nurse,I had bad problems with my back and after massage procedures my problem was improved so thanks Shemaa. Have to say thanks to all staff in spa as they were friendly and helpful, especially to manager Mina and seller Aladin. It'll be pleasure to visit this hotel again.

The hotel really has good vibe with their shows and their entertainment team. They have best variety and quality in food especially in their desserts!! The management of the hotel is very corporative as they want their maximum effort for our comfort. An action packed family trip booked through first choice. We weren't sure if we would get there as our children only had 4 months 3 weeks on their passports and according to the government website you need 6 months. So chuffed we managed to get through with no issue!
The hotel itself is clean and looks great. It manages to be posh without being stuffy. The staff are ok some great and friendly with kids others a bit rude. Some struggled to understand what I was saying which grew a bit tired over the course of 7 days others had no problem at all.
Getting served always seems to take a long time with all inclusive type holidays so not just this hotel. Food has been better for the money we paid though you do get a choice of a couple of restaurants however the new years eve menu was really very good. Self service main restaurant, italian and cafe type by the beach.
Evening entertainment was generally of the one person variety eg singer with backing tracks though some nights they had dancers and with the new years party being the best with 2 belly dancers and a twirling dirvisher.
The coral reef was where the hotel stood out for me. I went snorkelling every day with my 2 boys and we all absolutely loved it. Crystal clear water and a beautifal coral reef bursting with fish of every colour on your door step. The pool and bar were really very good as well and on a day when the red flag was up on the beach made for a decent alternative.
We booked 2 excursions through tui. The Nefatari sunset cruise and the desert safari both of which were superb. The cruise gave us the opportunity to see the dugong (sea cow) through the bottom of the boat and to swim with a sea turtle which was the most amazing experience plus an hours shopping in port Ghalib. The desert safari included a camel ride, sand buggy, mountain sunset, bedhouin camp visit, belly dancer and twirling dirvisher.

All helpful staff and Manager. I've been here in the quarantine during COVID-19 pandemic and the staff and Mr. Loay took VERY good care of us.

The trip to Jaz Grand Marsa was a holiday that we were longing for. We spend in Jaz 14 days. The first impression was great. The lobby is spacious and has good aircon. We were welcomed by cool drinks and helpful reception staff. The suitcases were taken to our room by the electric car. The check-in was quick and we managed to go to the dining room for a dinner just around 9pm. Unfortunately when we went to the room we discovered that there were only two beds and the three of us. We were waiting for 2h for the third bed luckily it arrived and we could go to bed. After the small hiccup it turned to be the greatest holidays we could imagine. The room was big and clean, the towels were fluffy and beach towels were waiting for us in the room. Our room had a pool view that was very useful because there was never enough deckchairs in the swimming pool area. The beach was located a little bit further as the hotel is very big. The deckchairs on the beach are old, you can get a soft drink on the beach. There is also a great restaurant a’la cart The Plateau – very good service and food. The hotel is in a very well maintained garden with a lot of little buildings with 10 to 16 rooms each. The dining room and bar are located in the main building. The food is marvellous, a big choice of delicious dishes beautifully exhibited. It is difficult to describe all the great food we were served for two weeks so big compliments to the chefs. The waiters in the dining room were working very hard so it was always possible to find a table and we weren’t happy to see that the managers were shouting at the so hard working staff – it could be dealt with behind the scene. In both bars we were served super drinks, non-alcoholic drinks were perfect and the barmen were doing their best even when in the middle of the high season they ran out of coconut milk. Big thank you to the whole entertainment team that are putting their hearts in to this job. Everyday we could enjoy aqua gym, dance lessons and great evening shows plus evening singers on the terrace. The guests can use the infrastructure of the other Jaz hotels near by like aqua park, beach in the Coraya Bay with great pier for snorkelling. Anna, Ola and Kasia

I rate my stay at the Jaz Grand Marsa hotel (August 2023) very highly - 9/10. The hotel is located on a beautiful coral reef, just 10 minutes from Marsa Alam Airport. The lobby bar is well stocked with alcohol and serves exquisite drinks. Every day, the hotel hosts various events, e.g. Aqua-aerobics, children's games, live concerts and dance shows. Meals in the main restaurant (all-inclusive) are very good, a large selection of snacks, sweets and dishes, and 2 soups are also available every day. The hotel is truly recommendable. The only minus is the waiter service (I do not recommend arriving for meals an hour before the end because the tables are not covered again after cleaning).

An excellent hotel with a clean environment, excellent, tasty and rich food to choose from, nice, friendly and helpful staff, great animation program, the animators try to speak the language of the visitors as well. The accommodation is hygienically maintained. The location of the hotel is only 5 minutes from the airport, the beach with the pier is maintained and the sea is beautiful with the possibility of snorkeling.

The hotel is very big and has a nice scenery. Due to covid it's not very crowded so you have a very private feeling at the pool and beach. The staff and animation team is very friendly and try to fulfill every wish. There is a daily animation program from morning to evening with shows in the evening. The food for all meals is very tasty and offers great variety and freshness. The room is cleaned daily and very spacious.
There is a nice reef behind the hotel but you can also go to the bay a few hundred meters away. It can be windy and sometimes there are big waves so it's nice to have the option to go to the calmer bay. Right now Aquapark is for free and it's a great addition they have cool slides!
I can easily recommend the hotel for all kinds of guests.

We booked 6 nights stay for honeymoon, everything was just perfect from start to end. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed everything around the place, Pools were various, big and so cozy, Housekeeping were attentive to requests and and always early, Beach was just AMAZING !! We could just see the coral reefs while standing and it was just perfect ! There was a jetty set up for ones who like to dive if you wanna go deeper. The restaurants were multiple and there were many selections to choose from, although the quality wasn't that high among all. Animation team was the only downside at the whole stay as they didn't add much, they were a bit repetitive and lacked customer service skills, yet that didn't have any impact on the overall experience as almost all the other staff were just Great !! Special thanks to the guys at the restaurant and the reception team led by the Amazing Mr.Abdelhamid who has put an amazing surprise for us considering the specialty of the occasion and who was always keen to deliver the best experience for us at all aspects to make sure that we'll come back

We were here during the May holidays 2 adults and 1 older child Beautiful and spacious hotel spread over several buildings Rooms are fine where a sealant edge could be replaced here or there. A bit firm perhaps for other hard beds. But slept well. 1 large swimming pool and a smaller one. We stayed in a room near the small swimming pool where the old-fashioned laying of towels was unfortunately also invented. We had some problems with the WiFi and air conditioning in the beginning, but that was resolved very quickly by the friendly technical service During the week we were there it was quite windy, so unfortunately we couldn't see the reef properly. But you can also enjoy beautiful snorkeling on the beach in front of the reef In the restaurant at the beach and the small swimming pool you can order lunch from a menu. You can use the water park at the adjacent hotel for a fee of approximately €40 for adults and €30 for children for the time you are there. You can buy this at the reception of Jaz Grand. This is checked by the men of the water park who takes care of everyone who enters the park all day long. Very good and varied food, hot and fresh, well stocked, so you can always eat well no matter what time you arrive. The routing in the restaurant could be a bit better because there are now some long lines because everything is in 2 buffets
