Casa Mare Resort garners high praise for its service, with many guests lauding the attentive staff and the hotel's cleanliness. The resort's amenities, including heated pools and diverse food options, are popular with travelers of all ages. While the hotel's atmosphere is often described as dynamic and friendly, some reviewers warn about extra charges for services like Wi-Fi.
The resort's location is another highlight, offering easy access to attractions and beautiful beaches. However, a few guests have noted concerns with room cleanliness and insects.

The hotel has a great location with beautiful sea view, there are many things to enjoy from the beautiful beach, two big swimming pools and aqua park. The sea is safe for children and beginners swimmers. There is also the option for snorkeling.
The hotel offers three meals, there is plenty of options to choose from. The food is tasty and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The rooms are neat with TV, kettle, mini bar and beautiful landscape overlooking the garden or the swimming pools
The hotel administration is keen on hearing feedback from the guests and are up to please them.

The hotel is in a great location, close to a beautiful reef. Only one stupid Russian took food for fish from the restaurant...[maybe in 10 years such stupid people will destroy this reef] but normally it is a great place for snoorking.
The hotel has several pools and slides, and in addition quite good animation for children (animators mainly Polish). With animation for adults or extra paid sports, there is something for everyone.
The hotel staff was very good and helpful. I don't know what the negative opinions on this matter come from, because we didn't once encounter any rude behavior - whether it was about the cleaning service, bar or restaurant staff. Here I must also praise Ahmed Al Tacher, who served us in the restaurant and who was very helpful to us and we will remember him very warmly.
Please note that the bakszysz is not mandatory, but sometimes a small amount allows you to really have a nice time.
My only criticism is the maintenance of cleanliness, which should be at a slightly higher level, but this is rather because of the different understanding of cleanliness in Europe than it is in Egypt. :)
In terms of the stores in the hotel - mostly they are horrendously expensive. Example - a packet of Pringles is the cost of $4!, bowls and lanterns from alabaster 3 times more expensive than at the airport. In addition, alabaster bowl, which we bought in the lobby was damaged and the damage was masked with wax! I advise against any purchase in a store where they sell alabaster!
However, there is a nice stalls on the hotel beach where you can buy natural fragrance oils and spices. I recommend going to this store and choosing something for yourself. Next to it is another store with cheap souvenir bracelets.
In conclusion, I recommend this hotel to visit and swim in the sea. I advise against buying alabaster. I recommend to buy something on the beach from smells, spices or souvenirs. If you like snacks, you should bring them with you to avoid going bankrupt when buying them. I recommend thanking staff for a good job with bakszysz. Choosing this hotel, you definitely will not regret.

Nice hotel for active, sport oriented family. I ve been there for 2 weeks and could stay longer, was not enough for me and the kids.
BUT:
Rooms are not perfect clean, especially bathroom,
no botteled water or free WIFI (unless you pay for VIP option 50$ per person per week)
Staff not always helpfull, escpecially at the front desk, you may expect much more from 5* hotel
Some of the amenties are damaged or not working
They try to sell you better rooms while check in - but not worth it, all rooms are the same
Even though there plenty of good things: Animation team very very nice, nice people at the bars, waiters, pool staff, Very good proffesional Kite Surfing centre, I recommend Ahmed for all beginners, diving spot at the place, beautiful reef, nice beach for kids and great shallow lagoon for surfers, aqua park, pools ok, food resonalble: for me ot was very tastefull, I was never hungry, but the range and diversity could be better. Snacks at the beach bar very good, kids loved the pizza
Generally I will come back there for sure

I have been Egypt three times before this trip without a hitch.
We decided to take some friends with us this time and we were all very disappointed with the cleanliness of the Hotel, room and the location, This was an All inclusive Hotel and we had to pay for water which is a joke when the weather was between 35 & 40 everyday.
SUNBEDS
Well they say the English are the one who put the towels out to reserve the sunbeds!!!!!! Your are joking we tried to get a bed by the side of the three pools for the two weeks not a chance even the German were moaning about it to the management.
We use the beach most days but had to get off about 3pm in afternoon as we got plagued by sand flies which had a nasty bite.
Towards the end of the first week we all came down with sickness and the Sxxts The food at first was average but it went down hill from there and it soon came to light the Hotel couldn't cope with the amount of people at the same time.
At the end of the first week alot of people were coming down with something???. And one evening the area around the main swimming pool was closed and they gave it heavy deep clean.
So I would only give this Hotel a 1* we won't be going back sorry Sharm.

In my eyes Royal Tulip is a huge resort (I was told the capacity is about 1100 guests) yet there were only about 100 guests during our stay in February 2021. That felt great as the place was far from crowded, we didn't have to wait in any lines for food, we could always find a secluded spot on the beach, made friends with all four animators (they're a great bunch and fun to talk to).
There is a nice lagoon for kitesurfing (flat, shallow water, mostly sandy bottom) enclosed by a coral reef about 650m into the sea. The reef is accesible by a long pier and makes a great snorkeling spot. I've never seen more than four or five kites airborne in the lagoon at the same time, which was great and I had plenty of room, but I can imagine that the lagoon gets quite crowded when there's just 10 or more kiters at the same time. It also shrinks significantly during low tide and there are some areas which are just centimeters below the water level and might be dangerous if you fail to see them. The beach is huge with plenty of space. There's also a kite school/rental which charges €12/day for beach use, and you get to use their storage, compressor pump, freshwater hose, showers, and their beachboys are always ready to help you launch or land.
As for the animation program, we participated in the morning stretching (10:30) and afternoon yoga, which were great. They also do darts, water polo, water aerobic, beach volleyball and some other stuff, but we never joined for any of those. There's a theme program every evening on a stage at the dining area. You can join for some of those, others you can watch either after you have your dinner or while eating.
The room was ok with a flat screen TV that we never used, a small fridge which we turned off because it was noisy, and an A/C which we used as a heater several times. All the balconies either face north or south - ours was facing north, so there was never any direct sunlight, which made the room quite dim. There was a speaker by the pool playing very loud music every day, so either forget about your afternoon naps, or bring your own earplugs.
You get two 1,5l bottles of water when you arrive, but we finished those on the second day. Then you're pretty much left with three options - either you can have all your drinks at the bar (not very convenient as they're only open on certain times), you can refill the bottles at the restaurant (which feels a bit humiliating and the water doesn't taste very nice), or you can buy bottled water for $1/bottle, which is the option we went with. But having to pay for water during an all-inclusive stay makes you feel a bit weird.

We spent 7 nights at Royal Tulip with some friends.
The staff is very welcoming, helpful and the service was really nice.
The cleaning was done every day and it was good, thanks Ali 😊
The waiters and bartenders did remember us and what we want to drink so we didn’t even have to order anything they kept the drinks running. Special thanks to Mohamed from the pool bar and reception bar, he was awesome 🥰
The food is ok, not the best but there was variety and you can find what to eat. Every evening there was fish, beef and chicken. Even if you are vegan or vegetarian, you will still find variety. The pastry and deserts were really nice.
The animation team was good and they really get to know every guest. Peso is really friendly and helpful. Because of Covid 19 the hotel night club is closed but some nights the animation team would organise a night out to a club in Port Ghalib . At the start we were afraid to go because of safety reasons but then we decided to give it a try and we did not regret it. We had transport to and from the disco and the whole night Peso from animation team was with us making sure we are having fun and we are safe. Special thanks to him and I advise you to go at least once 😊 we had fun.
The evening program was not the best and sometimes everything was finished by 22:00 and for us it was a little bit too early. Every other night a lady from Cuba was performing live at the hotel, although she sings nice we found it too monotone and repetitive. We would have enjoyed more some games or activities where the guests would interact more.
If you are going with kids, they will like it. Every evening they had kids program and it was nice, the kids did have fun.
The hotel is pretty old and you can see it in some areas but the territory is big enough and there were enough sunbeds at the pool and at the beach.
The hotel has awesome coral reefs and we enjoyed going snorkeling there. We did not expect to see such beauty right at the hotel beach.
Please be aware if you will go there with “Join Up” or “Sun International” because they will try to rip you and sell you optional excursions at a very high price. You can find representatives of different excursions at the hotel and they will give you better price for the same things, don’t forget to bargain. We were really disappointed with our guide from Sun International, he is not the man for this job and was not welcoming at all. He is just looking to make money and if you won’t buy excursions from him he will be not happy with you. Will give them 1 star for sure.
Overall we were satisfied with our vacation, just remember that 5 star in Egypt is a good 3 stars in other countries.

From the first moment is the hotel asking for extra $ for everything. For check in they let us wait on reception for hours asking to pay for VIP package. You need to pay for bottle of water on the beach (what the...), one day of Wifi is 20$ and so on. Even the slides for kids are limited for 2 visits/week.
Room was a bit older, bed very noisy on every move, safe not working, heated pool was not heated and so on. I have been in approx 15 hotels in Egypt and this one is the worst from all of them. If you want to go to Marsa, choose Hilton or Malikia. Both are thousands miles away with quality of service from this one. Not to be only negative, kitchen was good and most of the staff very friendly and nice.

In January this year
me, my husband and children went on a 2 weeks vacation. We paid an extra to get a VIP package, thanks tho we had a room with a beautiful view of the sea.
The hotel is suitable to move around with a child buggy, there are ramps and lifts everywhere.
On January the 1st, the pool was heated, the aquapark was turned on 2 times a day.
As for the food, it is repetitive but good. You can see that everyone from the service is doing their best, smiling and staing in touch. Animation were at a really high level. Anja, Abdul and Safe were very nice and organizing fun activities, my children loved them!
We are really recommend this hotel and I think is the place we could come back again.
There are few things that I would like to say about near area. The beach and the sea are very close, the pier is quite long, but it is worth trying snorkeling because the reef is beautiful and worth seeing. You can also have a good pizza at the beach bar which I will highly recommend.

I just spent my vacation in Marsa Allam in Royal Tulip and it was amazing. Marsa Allam is a MUST traveling destination in Egypt! Specially for those who like peaceful, less populated areas, AMAZING sea with unique reefs and sandy beaches. Water sports are top, if you are into diving and snorkeling; you are definitely having a breath taking and unique experience there!
The hotel was clean, room was great, the staff is massive, very nice and responsive, the food was good (desserts not as great as food but it's okay) the open buffet has wide range of options, the view and the setting of the hotel is wow, pools are clean and super nice (which is not common in hotels) aqua Is fun as well.
The beach in in the hotel is 5 min walking from the pool, nice services and snacks, it's clean and chill, however, if you are a swimmer, i don't think it will be the best option as it is more lagoon, and if you want to swim, or snorkel, you will have to walk on a wooden bridge for 10 min or more to reach a spot were you jump and snorkel over there.
Starting from the reception on our arrival till checking out, staff was very supportive, simply, they love what they do and they are keen on the quality of your stay in their beloved city Marsa Allam.
Room was king size bed and we needed two single beds and once we called the reception we transfered to another room in 15 min.
One of the best things that happened on our stay was Mr. Adel Basha, the executive assistant manager of the hotel who is such an amazing, supportive and professional person, who met randomly while waiting to check in and he was instantly welcoming us and following up with us throughout our stay! Very decent indeed, he introduced us and booked a dinner for us in the Italian restaurant in the hotel, he got us a discount and a free entrance to Abu Dabab beach to have a day use. He constantly made sure that we are enjoying out vacation and in no need for anything which was remarkable honestly.
So a big special thanks to Mr. Adel Basha for being a true representation of tourism in Egypt.
Overall, i highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Marsa Allam
Thank you tulip, till seeing you on my next stay.

Globe dive clubs.
The vip costs 70$ per person for a week. It includes acces to the wifi at the hotel, horse ride, gabalaya night, you also can take drinks from the bar all night and a better room. We came with family, so it would cost us 560$ because of 2 weeks stay. In my opinion it is not worth the money. Also the dancers from gabalaya are free to watch at the evening show at 21:00 on Fridays
