Casa Mare Resort is a hit with guests for its exuberant atmosphere and engaging staff, complemented by a plethora of activities suitable for all ages. The hotel's amenities, including pristine pools and beachside entertainment, are frequently lauded, as is its prime location close to local attractions and the scenic beach. The cleanliness of the resort receives high marks, with special attention to the well-maintained rooms and public areas. Service is another bright spot, noted for its attentive and friendly approach. While most guests find the rooms comfortable and spacious, a few have raised concerns regarding upkeep and unwanted pests. Opinions on value are mixed; some guests find the resort well-priced, while others are taken aback by extra charges for services like Wi-Fi.

We spent a wonderful holiday in this hotel in September 2024. We booked a double room superior sea view.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Language was predominantly English, but you also got on quite well with German.
Our room in house no. 28 was on the ground floor and right on the beach. The room was very spacious, the bathroom sufficiently large with semi-open floor-level shower. Our room service Abanob took excellent care of us and the room. Every evening there was a different decoration on the bed and as a highlight on the last day he had additionally pulled a net of lights over the whole bed. The food was varied (repeated of course in the 14 days) with great choice and very delicious. (eaten for the first time grilled barracuda). Although not booked we were invited by the management to the Italian restaurant. Overall you have to say the entire staff is very accommodating and helpful. We haven't seen grumpy faces that could spoil your day. The sellers at the pool and on the beach were only slightly intrusive.
The animation is very young and very likeable. There was much to offer for the entertainment from beach volley to darts, yoga water polo and water aerobics.
1/ week was an evening in the "desert", (about 5-10 minutes walk) with buffet and various performances (15€/P) as well as 1/week a beach party (5€).
Freshly squeezed O-juice costs 2€, also the smoothies in different flavors (mango, strawberry, guava).
We're away as a couple, 65 years old. Still to be mentioned is a local dive center and a Kyte school. This is run by an Austrian.
The hotel is about 30 minutes' drive from Marsa Alam airport. Due to its proximity to the airport, the hotel is also frequently flown over at low altitude by landing aircraft. However, the noise level is manageable due to landing approach.

Still to be mentioned is that the entire facility is very clean and is kept in good shape again and again.

Hygiene also affects birds, especially the ubiquitous sparrows. Here I have experienced quite different things in other hotels.

For me the only drawback is the procedure for Wi-Fi and Internet. For each device there is a separate access with password for max. 1 week. At the reception, a service technician is always called in case of difficulties who can manage the thing but this is much easier in other hotels.

Despite the small shortcoming an all-round successful holiday and a great hotel.
So good that we have now booked the hotel again for a week at the end of September.

Greeting Walter

We stayed for a week in a room with a pool view. As our 5th time in Marsa Alam, we consider this resort very welcoming and the strong points (in February) are: 2 heated swimming pools; fun and uncrowded water park with heated water; good buffet restaurant with international dishes, both fish and meat, and Egyptian evening; impeccable daily cleaning of the beach and swimming pools.
All the staff available, non-intrusive daytime entertainment and always an evening show; long pier on a beautiful coral reef, but on windy days you can't dive; few Italian customers; free and working wifi present in the main complex.
I would recommend changing the towels in the room and the pillowcases, often gray or with stains instead of a nice white; to make the weekly entertainment program visible in the hall.
Finally, I would like to point out that the travel agency inside the resort (new sindrella travel) offers a trip to Luxor with a private car lasting 4 hours one way + 4 hours on the way back, when there is no traffic 5 hours + 5 hours between checkpoint and driver's rest , despite traveling at 140 km/h.

The trip was very successful! (The best of those we visited in Egypt) The hotel is located next to the beach (private) and is very nicely maintained, although the buildings and slides show their age. After arrival, we received the bracelets at 10 a.m. (after breakfast), but there were snacks available at the beach, the room was not ready until 2 p.m., but we could spend time in the hotel, so we didn't notice it much. The room was fine, spacious, 1st floor perfect, we recommend a room with a view of the pool, as it is close to everything.

There are many swimming pools (3 with a bar, one for adults only) and you can find a sun lounger. Animations take place in swimming pools with slides (we highly recommend water polo and Aqua gym)
The hotel has a very well-equipped gym, which is a big plus.

One of the best things were the animations that lasted practically all day, both for children and adults - you could start the day with stretching and then take part in many games/amusements/sports. You can see that the animators really try and do their work very conscientiously, smiling all the time. They also made sure that our stay was successful, we could communicate with them in English and helped us deal with matters such as the reception or the lifeguard.
I especially recommend stretching, volleyball and playing in the pool (kisses to Ayuba, Bessy and Sheri)

Once a week there is a party on the beach which we recommend going to - a fire show and a great disco!

Apart from the animators, the hotel staff was very nice, they always tried to help and did their job nicely. There was no sign of them working hard, which unfortunately happens in some hotels.

There are plenty of sun loungers on the beach, near the pier, which has two entrances to the sea (the first one is waist-deep) and the second one is right on the reef, where you can admire it. Turtles come to the pier (we saw them twice and we were maybe 5 in total, so they do happen!) and dolphins, which unfortunately we didn't see.

The food was very good, something different every day for lunch and dinner, which was very nice. For dinner, there was a barbecue outside where there were tasty things.

The only downside was paid Wi-Fi, but you could also buy a SIM card at the hotel

Overall stay 10/10

The hotel is located next to an interesting coral reef, so I recommend it to those who go to Egypt to learn about marine flora and fauna. You can enter the sea from the pier (it's a bit long to get there, but it's worth the effort :-) The beach is well-kept and there are always free sun loungers.
The food is very tasty and has a large selection, although sometimes you have to wait in line for freshly grilled shrimps (at dinner) or omelettes made on request for breakfast. Drinks - so-so, even if you buy the VIP package, but strong enough for the heat of August in Egypt.
When purchasing the VIP package ($70 for an adult), we got a room with a beautiful view of the sea, bathrobes, slippers, a fruit plate, once a stay the bar was stocked with soda, a voucher for a "Bedouin" night, transfer - departure to the port and the possibility of ordering fresh orange juice for breakfast, It was worth it for me, but I only paid for myself, because the child was free of charge. Some people, without purchasing the package, had rooms with a similar view and a larger bathroom, and ours was quite small with a leaking shower, very hard beds and a plague of mosquito nets - these are the only disadvantages of this hotel. The staff took great care of our comfort and the room was "smoked" every other day to get rid of these nasties.
It was also annoying that guests booked sun loungers by the pools, even though they do not use them for half the day. The pools themselves were very nice and clean. At each bar there is a bar with cold drinks, alcoholic drinks and coffee.
And finally, the hotel's greatest asset: the ANIMATORS team. These young people conducted very interesting activities: volleyball, zumba, yoga, water gymnastics, water polo, boccia and several others. They encouraged and encouraged people to participate in the animations, but they were not pushy. They always talked to everyone with a smile and are a treasure trove of knowledge about where and what is in the hotel. And they should have received additional remuneration for their performance at the evening animations, because they were better than the thematic animations. The rest of them were also interesting.
I recommend the Casa Mare Resort hotel for a holiday break :-)

Our 4th visit to this resort, first time under the new hotel name. Unfortunately, it didn't go very well, because we are flying to Egypt for snorkeling and this time was the first time that the wind was quite strong for the whole 14 days, so we didn't get much into the sea on the reef. But of course the hotel is not to blame. Also, the lifeguard on the pier whistled at anyone who wanted to move a little away from the pier, so all that was left was to make sure he couldn't be heard. The hotel maintains its standard, the price/offer ratio is still very good. The accommodation was fine, we paid extra for the VIP package (70 euro per person per week) and got a room with a nice view of the sea and the pool. Thanks to the package, we were immediately accommodated with breakfast. The food in the main restaurant was good, everyone had to choose. Dinner every day on a different theme. The beach bar was converted to 1 central bar compared to the previous stay, so there was 1 queue for everything and the staff sometimes couldn't keep up. We liked the multi-stall system, where everyone could get their own, more. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve lunch were also served in this restaurant, as preparations for dinner were underway in the main restaurant. The hotel should come up with this differently, because the beach restaurant absolutely did not have time to satisfy the guests of the entire hotel. Pools good, some heated. Plenty of sunbeds by the pool and by the sea. Unfortunately, the staff at the pool in the morning occupied the best places for some clients with towels, apparently for a tip. Overall, I can recommend the hotel mainly because of the price, you just have to take into account that you won't be able to swim in the sea much from the beach. The big shoal is reserved for kite surfers.

I recommend staying at Casa Marę Resort, the hotel is quite well-kept, the food is really delicious for Egyptian standards, they serve a lot of seafood, the coolest is the beach bar where they serve snacks from the menu (pizza, burgers, fries, salads), draft beer from a bottle, drinks original cola, also from a bottle, the main restaurant is sometimes really crowded. The pools are also nice, the service is nice, they don't wait to get a buck, next to the hotel there is the most beautiful reef I have ever seen in my life, to which you have to walk quite a long time on a pier, but the views are beautiful, I saw giant turtles ,dolphins, and lots of fish on the reef several times. As for the disadvantages, it's annoying to be persuaded at the reception to buy a VIP package which is really not worth it, and there is no Internet, you have to pay extra. The price-quality ratio in this hotel is really high.

Very very nice experience!
The resort is about a 15-minute transfer from the airport, which is a great point of advantage for the property. Our room (2818, pavilion 28) was very spacious, a few steps from the beach, with a beautiful balcony and sea views.
Staff: all extremely helpful and kind, we want to thank especially Hassan who welcomed us to the beach every day, Mohamed who took care of our room impeccably, Fabiola of the cute animation, Adam on the pier, Mahmoud in the restaurant, but I repeat they are all very good! Professional reception and available to help you on any occasion.
Catering: priceless location on the sea, where they offer salads, hamburgers, piadine "pizza"... at the main restaurant a greater variety, as I read in many other reviews something to put under the teeth you always find!
Higher heated swimming pool with bar...the part closest to the sea is colder. Children's slide area very nice! Small "playground" with table tennis.
Pier of about 800 MT leading to the reef, where snorkeling gives beautiful colors!
In short... we are already thinking of going back!!!!!

Nice hotel, friendly and friendly staff, excellent cleanliness. Spacious, clean room with good bathroom and large terrace. The room is not luxurious we chose standard but is good for holidays. Every day we had a doll made with towels.
Very large hotel area, long corridors in common areas. Huge restaurant very busy and noisy. Varied food and lots of desserts.
A long pier to reach the coral area. Not suitable for older people or with difficulty walking.
*There are two classes primiun and standaard. *I would say class A and B. Class A pay extra money for a red bracelet that grants them privileges and live next to palm trees, I think the value is 70€ p.p.
Wifi just in the lobby, for the room you pay 10€ per person for 7 days. Natural juices you pay 2€, night party on the beach 5€, bus to Puerto Gallib 7€ per person.
It is a family hotel, or for groups of people. It is not for people who like to walk outside or visit warehouses, it is far from everything, lonely in the desert.
Too big for me taste therefore the quality of the food is less. Super full pools all day. Busy loungers as customers put their towels from dawn. The beach has good service and restaurant. It’s time to walk a lot to get some water or take a dip in the sea, maybe another time of year it’s the closest sea.
After 7 times in Egypte I stay in a hotel super far in the desert. I think next time we look at another option, a less large and more central hotel.

After two years, another visit to this hotel during the year-end holidays, and it may have been the last, because the price is not the only aspect by which I judge the overall quality of the stay. Apart from the name, there was a change in the beach bar, where several kiosks were combined into a whole with service, and I wouldn't say that it's a change for the better - you wait, wait, wave at the service staff, who are mainly dedicated to western tourists, after half an hour they bring your order half and the food is totally cold. Similarly, the use for lunches, when the main restaurant was closed due to the preparation of the gala dinner, was disastrous - due to the fullness of the hotel, you wait in a long line for food, then you wait for a free seat and then you wait to see if you get something to drink, many people stopped enjoying it and it was better without lunch that day. In the main restaurant there was definitely a better selection, more space, the quality of service is traditionally weaker in this hotel, you have to keep waving at someone, like before in the May Day parade :-). In terms of service, both bars by the pool were the best, where at least some effort was visible. The offered improvement in the form of a stay package became more expensive and there is no higher quality, in the room with a view a small TV without an HDMI input for a camera and the VIP Lounge was turned off this time, without an attendant, the coffee machine was disconnected for safety and a family was bored on the "reserve" chairs in front of the giant TV manager, at least the WIFI worked quite well this time. The service around the pools was also primarily devoted to German-speaking tourists, taking up space by the staff, a few extra towels for comfort, and smoking was even allowed in the section marked as non-smoking. On the beach again, the desperadoes occupied the first row of sunbeds with the sunrise, only to appear there after breakfast around ten - some hotels no longer tolerate it. As for the sea and snorkeling, it was very windy this time and when they finally let you into the water, after about 20 meters in any direction from the pier, the lifeguards called and whistled at you not to swim any further - I understand the need for safety, but I'm here for such a limitation experienced for the first time. Overall a pleasant sunny stay with a temperature of around 25°C, unless you needed something from the staff.
