Our daughter booked this B&B as a gift weekend away for my husband's birthday. We had a lovely warm welcome and a great stylish room with views over fields. The small town was only a short walk away and we found some great places to eat. We also did some fab' walks in the hills and along the coast. Would... More

A fabulously stylish place to stay. Elaine has created a modern space for guests to enjoy the comforts of a well-thought out B&B. A warm, friendly, considerate and generous hostess. Lovely breakfasts with creative combinations of fruits, and a selection of local artisan breads were the icing on the cake. King Street Rooms is very well placed for the Pembrokeshire... More

We had a lovely room with en-suite, very tastefully decorated with a warm and comfortable bed. Elaine, together with the delightful Walter, are fantastic hosts and made us feel genuinely welcome in their home. The St Dogmaels to Newport leg of the Pembrokeshire Coastal path was more difficult than we expected it to be and Elaine kindly picked us up... More

There was plenty that made my weekend in Newport a break that left me renewed and refreshed - the singing workshop I'd gone for, lunch in a local cafe, the coastal walks, the strong wind, the wonderful Pembrokeshire light. But an essential factor was my stay at the King Street rooms, and Elaine's warm and friendly hospitality. It is truly... More

We stayed with Elaine and Walter in August and it felt as though we were welcomed as guests in their home. The room was lovely - Elaine warned me on the phone that it was not of a size that you would want to stay in all day, but that didn't matter as we only used it as a base... More

Everything about our stay was perfect and I would gladly have stayed much longer. The house is not only very comfortable but it's also beautifully designed. Elaine is the perfect host and ably supported by Walter.

I loved staying at King Street, the room was comfortable and super clean, and Elaine couldn't have been more helpful, or Walter more sweet. There were great touches like the novels left by the bed - and not only novels, poetry too. But the best part was the breakfast - not your usual fry up - but much more my... More

Take a few designers, an old house at King Street in Newport (an attractive little village with a beach in the middle of the stunning scenery of the Pembrokeshire National Park), a woman who loves her house and add "a little Walter". That's the base done. Now put in a few nice rooms, combine those with a bunch of interesting... More
