Cnapan is just idyllic. The welcome one receives is second to none, the food is absolutely stunning and to cap it all you are situated within the most beautiful countryside imaginable. Absolutely love this place. Keep coming back!

We have been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed. We are always given a great welcome back and always with a pot of tea and Welshcakes The food is excellent, whether breakfast or dinner, with prompt service and always with a smile. Ingredients are fresh and locally produced. Rooms are fresh, scrupulously clean and very comfortable.... More

A thoroughly delightful experience from the beginning with the warm welcome from Mike and Judy with tea and Welsh cakes in the garden to the final breakfast before our departure. The evening meal and choice on the menu, the excellent service and ambiance deserve awards. Our room was tastefully decorated, spotless and the many extras: tea, biscuits, bottles of water... More

We have been using Cnapan for years when we visit our relatives nearby. It is a lovely homely place to stay and convenient for all local facilities and sites. The breakfasts are to die for! We highly recommend it.

Modern, fresh and traditional all rolled into one. Fabulous welcome, room, 3 course meal and breakfast. I really can't find fault with this place and would highly recommend for a night or weekend away in beautiful surroundings. We stayed in a room with a bay window and a sofa overlooking newport town, no noise issues and some serious people watching... More

Once we had got over the fact that nobody seemed bothered if we came in and walked through the immaculate reception area covered in mud etc from the coastal path, we relaxed and had a great time here in the lovely, bright front upstairs room. From the morning sun to the evening sitting on our little sofa in the bay... More

Very friendly and warm welcome. The room had everything that you could need. We just had bed no breakfast as we were off to meet friends for lunch so I cannot comment on the food. Great position in the centre of Newport and close to the water too. We had a room at the back of the building which was... More
