I can imagine few places in the world more remote, or more magical, than Raimiti. After the two-hour transfer by boat, we felt as though we were truly at the end of the world. And that is just the beginning. Raimiti is exceptionally beautiful and full of delightful surprises. A couple of tips for divers: Book and confirm dive reservations... More

Amazed more than ever on this third visit to Raimiti on Fakarava This is the Third review for this amazing place at the end of the world. Raimiti on the Atoll of Fakarava is located 60 Km away from the airport. It is reached by boat after an hour and a half ride (the transfers are included). It is not... More

If you are an avid snorkeler you might find this resort worth the discomfort. It is placed a 25 minute boat ride from one of the best snorkeling sites we encountered in four Polynesian Islands. The nearby pass. However the pension is hard to get to. After 2 flights from our previous stop we arrived to an hour and a... More

Be aware this is not like a 5* hotel with all the services, this is a 5* experience. No electricity at night but petrol lamp, no a/c but wind from the ocean. Great and fresh homemade food (so limited choice) and of course no wifi. Be also ready to meet the owner - a little lunatic - that could be... More

It's a wonderful place. Beautiful, peaceful and remote. Snorkeling is unbelievable. Every meal was exceptional. The staff was helpful, friendly, and fun to be with. We are definitely planning to return.

Raimiti is situated in the stunning south of Fakarava and is beautifully maintained and set out. Being there you feel completely at peace and relaxed. The service and food is great and we had a wonderful time. Theres no electricity in the rooms but that is part of the charm of the place. They have charging stations for camera/equipment etc... Ia Orana Finally made it back to Raimiti on Fakarava. This is not your regular hotel. My very first advice is to read the website from beginning to the end. Once done, re-read the page again, take notes and please send questions for all clarifications before booking. No electricity (or very little just enough to recharge the camera). All meals... More

The place is amazing, located in a corner of paradise and is also very close to the South Pass. The only thing is that if you want to enjoy your stay you DON'T have to take a lagoon bungalow but just those facing the ocean. The lagoon ones are almost open-air with a small curtain as door. You can imagine... More
