Great place, really nice hosts, and some of the best food i was served in polynesia. The rooms where also really good. Fakarava is just a fantastic place. The hosts speak very good english and are very helpful with anything you want. I spent 5 weeks in polynesia and this pension was def one of the best i was in.

From all the islands of French Polynesia i have seen ( and I saw a lot ), Tokerau Village was my best pension/hotel. I became friends with Gahina and she helped me to book an excursion to the south pass.I tried to speak french, but when it became too difficult i switched to english and Gahina understood all my english.... Beautiful place but where is hospitality? The dinners and breakfasts were good, but: we were in a pension infestated by beatles and various other insect, despite their web site stated there wasn't wifi internet, there wasn't exotic fruit in 6 days and the worst thing no one spoke a single word in English. This was truly disappointing and ruined all... More

We stayed at Tokerau Village in 2.010 and by that time (trust it hasn't changed) it was an absolute dream. Having stayed at Four Seasons in Bora Bora this pension still remains as my favourite lodging in French Polynesia. Bungalows and gardens are cozy and very well kept, home made food (dinner and breakfast) was amazing and we enjoyed sharing... More

We spent only 3 nights here on a short stop in Fakarava on our honeymoon. Everything was perfect!!! Nice room, beautiful grounds and we became friends with the owner Gahina who did everything to make our honeymoon special. On top of that she is a fantastic cook as others have already remarked. We had a special time at this little... More

The pension is located at the beach about 7 km from the small village. You can rent bicycles to get there or ask the pension to drive you. You can for free borrow kayaks. The snorkling is good around some coral blocks.. The beach is really beautiful and romantic. Flora, the owner, really does everything to make your stay perfect.... More

We spent two nights there as a backup solution, not being able to reach Raimiti, due to bad weather conditions (see my separate review on what happened with Raimiti if interested). The place definitively nice, in a good position, with pretty clean and well maintained bungalows close to the lagoon with big window and a nice porch in front of... More

We stayed in the Gahina hut, it was really nice. Gahina was personably and cooked some great meals. We felt really at home and intend to return to Fakarava. You're right next to the water and the sound is so soothing. There is wifi and Tv.
