We loved this hidden hideaway on Bora Bora. Spent a week relaxing on our deck. The whole experience was so enchanting and we appreciate all that Nir, our host, did for us. Nir took us to restaurants, into town for shopping, and provided us with a delicious decanter of Tahitian rum which we drank during the week. Meeting his family...

We recently stayed at Rohotu Fare for 4 nights on our honeymoon & had a truly amazing stay. Located in the perfect spot for exploring the island, we can't imagine staying anywhere else. Bikes & car service to the beach and town were included in the price along with all of the other small comforts such as bottled water, and...

First of all, I am a very critical reviewer. I have high expectations and rarely are they exceeded. Rohotu Fare is the exception. This is a one of kind hotel that sets itself apart in many ways. To begin, Nir our host was extremely gracious and helpful. He made us feel extremely welcome in his beautiful lodge. The location is...

After staying 4 nights in Rohotu Fare on our honeymoon we believe that this hidden gem is unrivaled on Bora Bora. It is a truly enchanting place, with its lush jungle and exquisite bungalows, it gives the big resorts a run for their money. Not only are the Bungalows perfectly equipped and spotlessly clean, but they also exude character. Nir,...

I simply loved this place! The perfect balance of pure luxury & attention to detail offered by the best high-end hotel and the personal & heartfelt service of a small family owned pension! My bungalow was the stuff of the Golden Age of travel - antique artifacts, fine rugs, gorgeous sculptures and art, an open air garden bath, a balconies...

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this lodge! We had stopped by Rohotu last year and met the owner Nir. We were so happy when a change of plans this year allowed us to stay here for three nights! From the moment we were picked up, until the moment we left, Nir made us feel welcome. The location is...

Nir arranged our one week stay, and we could not have selected a better place. The location was close to town (Vaitape), and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us to stretch out. We had the option to cook in because of the refrigerator, kitchen utensils, and nice gas grill on the outdoor deck. The markets in...

Our stay in Rohotu Fare was incredibly good. We travel a lot and love to live as locals wherever we go. The experience with Tiare, Nave and Nir was so good that we would recommend anyone coming to the island not to miss it. This family truly knows how to welcome people! The lodge is furnished and decorated as a...

My husband and I recently spent 2 weeks at Rohotu Fare to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We couldn't have made a better choice on the island. Nir our host along with his wife Tiare and daughter Nave made us feel like family from the moment we arrived and graciously took care of all our requests and needs! If we had...

First impression was -- wow, we have to walk/bike up that driveway every day? We could eventually walk up with only one or two breaks but it was tough in the heat and humid conditions. It's a nice retreat hidden up on the hill, surrounded by lush foliage and fruit trees. Nir provided fresh papaya and other tropical treats for...
