First the hosts are amazing and need to be commended for the presentation of this ZEN type retreat. The rock walk meanders through the area with green foliage and Porapora art through out to three of the cottages ! This inside brings you back to what comfort was before all the glass and metal. If you are a product of the 60s and 70 s generation you can appreciate the style that was part of the San Francisco in the day ! The kitchen is fairly well stocked, it is a one butt room ! The bath is shower only but the shower is a Polynesian maiden pouring water from her hands under the green foliage, sweet ! The daily service with changing of the mosquito coils was amazing . Yes skeeters live on Bora Bora even those $2000.00 at night bungalows over the water !

Property's Favorite Review
We felt honored to find this secret spot and felt like we stayed with family. Nir and his wife has created a property that will live on in my dreams. They took care of everything and it made our trip truly authentic. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else upon return. Book this property and book it now. I can promise you an overdeliver of anything you can expect. Close to everything and we didn’t need a car. Dinner, excursions, beaches, bike rides were all taken care of upon request of our specific needs. The outdoor shower is a game changer! We ended up going to dinner one night with two other couples we met on the property as a group. Total privacy on location with just enough human interaction, my kinda place! *save your overwater bungalow for Moorea* * full size fridge/freezer* Bikes on property* * best part of the island *very comfortable beds and the A/C was perfect! *Wifi available (we didn’t even use it)

A 2 minute walk from the main road leads you to a beautiful walkway through tropical plants and tiki statues to one of the bungalows. The bungalows are large and beautifully furnished with carvings and other art. The bathrooms are as big as many entire hotel rooms and are attractions themselves. Beautiful views of the ocean, mountain and/or gardens from the large balconies, and private kitchens complete the bungalows. The owner/creator lives on the premises and is easily available. Even if you want to stay at the beach a few days, spend at least a few days here as well. You won't want to leave!

This lovely place is more than a beautiful accommodation to sleep. It is an experience that will stay with you forever. The views are incredible and all the creative touches were never ending. Nir and his family went out of their way to ensure we felt valued and at home. This paradise was Nir’s childhood dream that he made happen and continues to develop and maintain. We FaceTimed our family so we could give them “a tour” and so they could visually experience this magical place. Rohotu Fare is among our favorites and will be a life long memory! We highly recommend this amazing, well loved paradise!

We have stayed at Rohotu Fare four times and now are on a first name basis with the owner and family. It is located on a ridge flanked by Mount Otemanu. On the first visit, while the guys were collecting the luggage, the ladies announced they were going to check in and promptly disappeared into the jungle! Where'd they go? We walked to where we had last seen them and a tiki-guarded, sculpted path appeared that led through a forest of carefully maintained trees and native plants. Individual bungalows are entered on the uphill side of the ridge while the balconies look out over the tree canopy to the lagoon below. Amazing! The interior has hardwood floors, walls and ceilings with gorgeous bed made from roots of teak wood. The bathroom and shower are outside under an extended roof, but totally private. The shower consists of a statue holding a vase that pours water down upon the bather. The total experience was unique and far exceeded our expectations. We will visit Bora Bora again and wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else.

We had an incredible stay at Rohotu Fare. We were there for 4 nights during our honeymoon and Nir made sure that we were extremely well taken care of. Food and Activities: -He helped us get dinner reservations every night, organized a tour for us and even a couples massage in our room. -There was a kitchen in our room and they took us by the store on our way in so that we could grab some things to have breakfast on our deck. It was the perfect way to start each morning. Transportation: -They picked us up at the (free) airport ferry, dropped us off at the ferry to go to our next hotel, and made sure that we had transportation to our dinner/activities each night -They also provided bikes that we borrowed every day to bike around the island and go to lunch, the store and the beach. Without the bikes it would have been a 20-30 min walk to the beach in one direction and the store in another- so the bikes were extremely helpful. The room: -The room was incredible. The shower (and rest of the bathroom) is outside but protected by beautiful plants and it felt like a dream. -A/C worked great -Truly incredible view Overall: This was the perfect start to our time in Bora Bora. 4 nights here allowed us to explore the main island, do some activities, relax on the beach and eat like a local. After this we did a few nights at one of the bungalow hotels and we agreed we would have felt like we missed out on Bora Bora without our time at RF. Thank you for a magical time!

RoHoTu Fare is truly a one-of-a-kind place to stay. I would highly recommend it for a couples, families, or solos. The accommodations are stunning, comfortable and meet all your needs. Every detail is artfully curated and the hosts go out of their way to accommodate. The hosts picked us up and took us to the airport. They also drove us into town one day, and did all of our laundry at no cost. If I ever return to Bora-Bora, this is the only place I would consider staying. I just simply can’t say enough good things about the accommodations and the hosts.

Rohotu Fare is an amazing oasis to stay at! My partner and I stayed there for the first time this past September and only had the most positive experiences staying there. The grounds are magical and beautifully done. The rooms are filled with traditional art and so incredibly spacious and unique. The owners of the Rohotu are kind, generous, helped us plan all our activities, and so knowledgable. If we ever go back to Bora Bora, we would absolutely stay there again. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a special place to stay.

The place is simply gorgeous! We stayed there for part of our honey moon and we were so happy to be there. The room was fantastic, very spacious and decorated with so much taste and antique pieces. The garden is amazing, it is like a jungle and the bathroom is actually outside in the nature. The owner Nir was very welcoming and helpful with all the sorts of information, and he told us so much about Bora Bora and other interesting stories. We cannot recommend more this place!

Well, it kinda goes like this. Think of a beautiful tree house in the canopy of a tropical botanical garden decorated with fine Tahitian art and some Indiana Jones accoutrements thrown in. This place was created with a suburb vision and like I say in the title "true soul". It is a place built by a traveler, for other travelers to experience. You will not find tv's or boutiques at this hideout. What you will find is a library, great views (we had an ocean view unit) the coolest bathroom, awesome art, wonderful hosts, local & worldly knowledge, a spotlessly clean unit and some homemade vanilla rum. If you are looking for something other than your run of the mill resort (if anything on Bora Bora can be run of the mill, haha) off the beaten path, these guest cabins might just be for you!
