We had a delightful stay at Village Temanuata. We occupied a cute bungalow with an outdoor kitchen that was very comfortable, clean and convenient. We also had one night in a beach-facing bungalow, which we actually Found a bit less convenient. My husband was a bit tall for

Thank you for your comments Mrs. and Mr. Chaney. You preferred the Garden Bungalow # 4 to the Beach Bungalow # 6 as you reported to us during your stay. Indeed there is no refund for bookings via websites but we propose a postponement of the stay over one year in case of cancellation 1 month before the date of stay. Welcome back to California and look forward to seeing you again in Temanuata. cordially Christophe

I was checked in by Jacques, one of the owners. I spent about 10 mins with him while he showed me to my room, got me the wifi code etc - the entire time he was staring at my breasts. Blatantly, obviously, to a completely inappropriate and uncomfortable level. Later I met

Ia Orana Roxanne We are surprised by your comments. During your stay from 16 to 20 September, you did not make any comments. We are sorry for the boat transfers for Maupiti, but they do not exist since 2013 and yet it is still indicated in all guides. Unfortunately, we can not modify this information on our site because we have not had access since 2016. The Village Temanuata was opened in 1996 and not in the 80s. The photos of our beach on Booking are recent and we are lucky to have a private beach which is not the case for the other pensions of the island. We are 1 minute walk from Matira beach for sunsets. For the internet, we installed a relay antenna, which was 5 meters from your bungalow, for more than 6 months to cover all of Temanuta. However this remains of the local internet at 4 MB. We will share your comments about cleaning with our maintenance staff.

I spent a few days here while scuba diving around French Polynesia and this place was little gem. Without spending the crazy prices in the island I had private beach (not too big since properties on both sides are also private so you can't go there, but still your own beach), a
