Le Bora Bora By Pearl Resorts is often celebrated for its luxurious overwater bungalows and stunning Polynesian decor, which guests find aesthetically pleasing and well-appointed. The spacious, contemporary rooms are generally kept in immaculate condition, contributing to the resort's overall charm.
While the hotel's secluded location offers picturesque ocean views that enchant guests, some do mention that the indulgent amenities come at a high price. The service is largely commended for its friendliness and attentiveness, though there are occasional reports of inconsistencies.

Loved this place. Stayed in an over water bungalow with a view of the mountain. Great details inside and out.
Pool is awesome. They have a cushy mat on the bottom of the pool so your feet stay nice and smooth. Was like stepping on air
Beach was sweet... raked daily, Snow White sand lapping waves and that delicious blue/green water.
Bar/beach staff (especially Peunui (spelling?)) were attentive and made tasty custom drinks
They were doing some maintenance /construction while we were there but it was not disruptive
Only suggestion is to change the lunch/dinner menu every 2-3 days. We stayed a
Week and the never changing menu forced us to go to town for many meals. Also, while I think it may be a local staple, as a scuba diver, I don’t like to see reef fish (parrot, Napoleon, emperor) on the menu.

I stayed at the Four Seasons the last time I was in Bora Bora five years ago so I did not quite know what to expect when I chose to stay Le Bora Bora. The Four Seasons is now above my budget so I booked at Le Bora Bora as it it was less expensive and seemed to have great views. I have to say that I was just as happy staying there I was at the Four Seasons. The re-furbished bungalows are awesome! I loved the glass insert that allowed me to look at the beautiful lagoon water as I brushed my teeth or shaved. I also loved the netting on the terrace that was a great place to relax in the sun and dry off after a plunge in the lagoon. The view of Mt. Otemanu was to die for. The staff was uniformly ultra friendly and accommodating. The bar makes the best Mai Tai I've had after staying in 5 hotels throughout the society islands, and the food was good. I would not hesitate to book there again. I don't even have any small quibbles about anything that could be improved. Thank you Le Bora Bora!

Words cannot express how wonderful this resort is! We were greeted at the airport by a representative from the hotel. After we collected our luggage it was a short 10-15 minute boat ride to the resort. We were greeted with a cool beverage and completed the paperwork. We were shocked and pleased that we were able to check into our room at 12:30.
We had bungalow 119 which is an overwater bungalow with a private pool. It was located at the end of the pontoon with awesome views of Otemanu. The room was exquisite, with the bed positioned in front of the sliding glass doors for an amazing view. The bathroom was huge with every amenity that you need, there were also large closets. The glass opening at the bottom of the bed allowed for direct access to the lagoon to feed the colorful fish below. The deck was huge with a round day bed, 2 chaise lounges and a table and 2 chairs. The private pool was unbelievable, and there were also steps with direct access to the lagoon. Since we were at the end of the pontoon, the water depth was over my head but a short swim away and I was able to stand.
We brought our own full face snorkel masks which were great for viewing all the fish 🐠. At night you could see stingrays and we saw a black tip shark, but they were no where to be seen during the day.
Our plan included breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want. The open air dining had a great atmosphere and great views but sometimes the flies were annoying.
The food at dinner was very good.
There were 2 shows while we were here, a Polynesian dance show and a fire show. They were both brief (~20 minutes), but very well done.
Since we had such a great room, we hung out there most of the time, however we did spend some time at the beach and swimming in the beautiful, shallow, crystal clear lagoon. The water is unlike anything I have experienced, so delightful.
We had a late flight the day we checked out and they offer several options, either a day room which you could rent for $100 or a shower room which was free for 30 minutes.
The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make you happy.
I would highly recommend this resort.

My husband and I were blessed to be able to stay at Le Bora Bora for 7 nights as part of our first trip to French Polynesia. We chose Le Bora Bora by Pearl resorts based on location, amenities, price and reviews. We were looking for a place where we could relax, enjoy the views with beautiful blue water and spend time together.
From the welcome greeting at the airport, to the boat ride, it set the mood for the entire trip. The service and staff were excellent.
Bora Bora is beautiful. The resort offers picturesque views of the open ocean, the main island and surrounding islands from its beach, restaurants and bungalows. The resort is beautifully landscaped and decorated in French Polynesian decor and is just as beautiful at night as during the day.
We stayed in an Otemanu Overwater Bungalow and it was perfect. The room had been updated with nice Tahitian touches and modern amenities, and the wifi worked great. There was plenty of natural light and ambient lighting options in the room. The bungalows were nicely spaced to maintain privacy and very quiet. The depth of the water off our bungalow was about waist to chest deep, it was great for swimming and snorkeling. We saw plenty of fish and stingrays.
We ate at Otemanu and Miki Miki restaurants during our stay. Both had a nice selection of dishes that were very delicious with outstanding service. The Polynesian show at Otemanu was entertaining along with a buffet of local cuisine. We ordered room service once during our stay, food was good and service was quick.
On departure day we reserved a day room for a fee since our flight departed in the evening and check out was 11:00 am. The room had its own bathroom with shower and a daybed. The air conditioning worked great and we were able to charge our devices before we left, but wifi was not available. It was worth the extra expense for our schedule.
Visiting Le Bora Bora was a bucket list trip. It was all we had hoped for and more. After enjoying it so much we have decided on a return trip.

Dear OneHeart95, Thank you very much to take the time to write a nice comment on TripAdvisor. We are glad that your stay meets your expectations in this wonderful island of Bora Bora. It is a pleasure to read that you appreciated the Polynesian style of our Resort and the service in our different departments. Indeed, we paid attention to add some light under your overwater Villa so that you can watch fishes during the day, but also during the night; swimming around the coral block under your villa. We hope to have the joy to welcome you soon again in Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts – membre Relais & Châteaux. I wish you a nice day. Sincerely yours,

This property is amazing. Upon arriving things were first class all the way.
The over water bungalows sit in a turquoise lagoon that you can walk, swim, kayak, or just float for ever.
Took a stroll around the beach side bungalows as well on the way the the gym /spa (spa was being renovated ) and the entire property is meticulously manicured and full of beautiful lily ponds.
The breakfast buffet altho tasty became a bit mundane by day 5 and would be nice to have a slight variation of egg dishes. The diversity of selections, however , were abundant. Sashimi, seaweed salad, incredible fresh fruit to name a few.
Dinner selections at the restaurants were also something for everyone fare. Pizza and burgers as well and fresh fish, steak, shrimp at mickey mickeys. Or a buffet offered a few days during the week. And gorgeous wine bar where one can whet their appetite on other selections such as sushi.
Kayaks and paddle boards as well as floats are always available and The Beach Boys were delightful and helpful.
The staff all over the property were friendly and alway helpful and all with a smile on their pleasant faces. Room service 24 hours a day in case you find yourself hungry in the wee hours. And a help yourself mini bar for your convenience in the room.
The water and Mountain View were just amazing and taking a boat around the entire island, this resort has the best views IMO.
Some critiques if I must. The do not disturb sign is made of shells and fragile (as is the key chain for the gym). Maybe make it out of something heavier as it blows off wind breezy and breaks easily. A wood plaque or a coconut with do not disturb in it placed outside the hut. Also there weren’t any soap dishes and it would get the counters messy and soap soggy. A universal machine in the gym would round out the ability for and entire body work out. Possible to put a sash or something to keep the curtains back from sliding door as it always was in the way when opening and closing the door and the ac stops if door is not closed all the way. Small details for sure when looking at the large picture.
Indeed this was an amazing experience and an unbelievable resort. Merci merci merci.

My wife and I don't normally stay at resorts – we're usually more itinerant, staying in AirBnBs in more remote spots. But we wanted to relax and enjoy a week on the beach, and I'm very glad we chose Le Bora Bora. We had a garden villa with pool, which is the least expensive room category on the property but, in my opinion, one of the two best (the other being the Beach Villa with Pool – the overwater bungalows were of course very cool, but for us all of these kinds of rooms at any resort lack privacy unless you're at the end of the pontoon.) It's the most private, without a doubt – you have complete privacy in your garden area, with a pretty generously sized pool and a comfy gazebo area with a couch where you can get shelter from the sun or any rain that might come in. The room itself is comfy and well appointed, and we appreciated the complimentary minibar (bring or buy your own rum to mix with the pineapple juice and you have a nice in-room cocktail!) The grounds of the resort are extremely well-kept, and I could tell by speaking with Laurent, the assistant manager, that he really took pride in maintaining a tropical garden-like feel to the place. The beach was beautiful and rarely crowded, and we particularly enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu at the Poerava gourmet restaurant and the casual food at Miki Miki. The wine bar was also great for sushi and a drink. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection (American, French, and some Asian fare), and I appreciated the poisson cru. The food at the Otemanu restaurant was fine, but not our favorite option. My wife had two spa treatments and thought they were both excellent. The resort is situated on Motu Tevairoa, facing in toward Mt Otemanu, and in my opinion has a better spot than some other resorts, like the Conrad. They have a coral garden between the OWBs that is still growing, but already has attracted a lot of fish, and every night we saw black tip reef sharks and stingrays there, too.
If I had any suggestions for improvement, I guess I'd point out that housekeeping did an uneven job of refreshing things like toilet paper and shampoo, so we had to ask for those a couple of times over the week, but they were very happy to help once we did ask. The concierge could have provided us with more information about activities, too – we ended up booking directly for a couple of snorkeling trips because there wasn't much information forthcoming from them when we stopped by. But these are minor things, and I would highly recommend Le Bora Bora to anyone.

Dear tafticus, Thank you very much to take the time to write a comment on TripAdvisor. We are glad that you appreciated your Garden Villa. Indeed, our goal with this Villa “perfume” is that you feel in your home in Bora Bora. We also want to show you that Polynesia is of course gorgeous lagoon, but also amazing plants and flowers and each garden villa has an original garden. We are working on the project to make our plants nursery visitable for our guest, so that you can see all the different species we have here and how we design the garden. We insure you that your feedback regarding the Housekeeping and the Conciergerie departments will be discuss in meeting with an improvement goal. We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you soon again in Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts – membre Relais & Châteaux, to try our Beach Villa. I wish you a nice day. Sincerely yours,

We booked a Pearl Resorts package with Costco Travel, staying 4 nights at Le Bora Bora. From the moment we stepped onto transfer boat to the moment we stepped off, we were treated like royalty. The staff were incredibly helpful at every question and request, providing personal service in every way. The property itself is large, but easy to navigate with signage and clear paths; our room was located quite far away from the main areas, but walking over the beautiful lagoon to get everywhere provided incredible views of the reefs and fish. The room was exactly what the pictures portray - clean, quiet, luxurious; there was not as much privacy to the deck as expected, as the neighboring bungalow decks are in view. The hammock on our deck was broken and covered with boards, but they brought and installed a new one within a few hours - in the rain! The restaurants were very good, obviously for sushi and other seafood, but we were surprisingly happy with meat and chicken dishes as well (I was skeptical that they would be cooked properly). It is clear that Le Bora Bora knows their audience and do all they can to accommodate every need.

Greeted at the airport with a crown and garland. The staff are lovely and the resort is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in one of the overwater Otemanu bungalows, and I think it was worth paying extra for the view. The mini bar is stocked daily and it’s all free of charge, chocolate, soda, beer. We ate all meals at the hotel and both restaurants were top quality. Breakfast buffet is amazing! Just know that the resort is on its own little motu and you have to take a five minute water taxi to the mainland, there’s a free service at 9.30am and after that you have to pay $25 per person. We loved every minute of our stay. Highly recommend.

Le Bora Bora is one of the nicest resorts we have ever stayed at. We booked through Venture Tahiti and had a very smooth experience getting to the island. Once we arrived, we were blown away! The grounds are lovely and very well-kept. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! They have everything you could need. When we arrived, they had our room set up in a beautiful welcome that made us feel very special. The resort has a dock on site where all the excursions and airport transfers pick and drop you off to make things very easy. Everything about the resort was great, but the best part about it was the food! The restaurant at the resort was amazing – some of the best meals we have ever had. We are already planning to go back to Le Bora Bora in the future and can’t wait for our next trip there!

We visited the resort as part of an 11-day vacation to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were booked for 6 nights in an overwater bungalow with pool, but upon arrival on a rainy Wednesday evening, we were stunned speechless to have been upgraded by the manager to the End of Pontoon Overwater Suite with Pool. We had to keep picking our jaws up off the floor at the incredible beauty and luxury of the suite, its location, and the resort in general. Every touch and detail was perfect from the lush floral bouquet in the living room to the floral greeting spelling out "25" on the king bed. The location of the suite is unbelievable with 270 degree unobstructed views of the lagoon, the open ocean, surrounding motus, and of course Bora Bora and Otemanu. Yes, it was an 11 minute walk from the beach, but who cares? The privacy and beauty were beyond compare.
We only left the resort once for a snorkleing excursion, but not even for a meal -- that's how much we loved the resort itself. The food was very good at both Miki Miki and Otemanu restaurants. The buffet that was served on our arrival night in Miki Miki was hands down the best buffet we've ever experienced and seriously one of the best meals we had on the whole trip. There were activities every day if you chose, or plenty of places to relax, sun, rest in the shade, or do nothing if you chose. The resort grounds and buildings are beautiful, and the authentic Polynesian touches are everywhere you look. Every single staff member we met was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We would return in a heartbeat and are forever grateful for the most memorable anniversary celebration possible!

Dear beachseacruise, Thank you very much to take the time to write a comment on TripAdvisor. It is a pleasure to read your nice feedback on our Hotel, especially the fact that you noticed all the details regarding our Polynesian style. Actually, we are also working on a project of an Art gallery and a museum in the resort so that our guest will be able to deeply discover this amazing culture. We are glad that you spent a nice stay, especially for this nice 25th wedding anniversary, and we hope to welcome you again before the next 25 years. Sincerely yours,

My OWB didn't have a pool and didn't really need at as the sea was gorgeous and not very deep. Didn't notice the wind, more a breeze and as the previous person mentioned, great resort pool etc. Not sure I'd stay anywhere else in Bora Bora.
Hi Michael, the main restaurant does have an elevator to it. Other restaurants are also accessible as they are ground floor. Great place, we loved our visit. Service was great and the grounds are very pretty. Hope this helps.
I don't know of a buffet there, other than breakfast at le Bora Bora. The meals are about $40. each for dinner. Drinks are about $16. each, except at happy hour. Beer and wine tend to be less expensive than mixed drinks.
Not sure if you still need an answer, but the shuttle from the hotel lands right across the lagoon. There are no shops or restaurants here, so you will have to arrange transport (the concierge can do for you) into town. Restaurants may pick you up there.
