GO if you want nice and quiet accommodation. We chose the Conrad because it was new. The location of the resort is very private. There’s no other resorts around (the Four Season and the St. Regis are in a cluster on the opposite side of...More
My wife and I spent 4 nights at this absolutely incredible beach resort We travelled there from Moorea, thinking that things could not get much better, but we were wrong. The Conrad Bora Bora Nui will spoil you for any other hotel you stay at....More
We stayed in an over water bungalow with a private pool. While we knew what we booked we were still blown away when we got to our room. Every detail was top quality. It was delightful diving into the lagoon from our balcony. We swam...More

Really amazing location and facilities. The hotel is newly renovated and on a beautiful remote part of Bora Bora. I highly recommend this location and suggest travelers don't even bother with Moorea as no hotel their competes with the Conrad Bora Bora. The staff from...More

You don't need shoes BUT I would highly recommend getting water shoes. You can get them on Amazon. This is what we got Aleader Men's Quick Drying Aqua Water Shoes. They also have womens. If you get them wet they dry really quickly. We wore these everywhere. Having these shoes allows you to walk around the beach and then into the water without having to worry about stepping in anything. These were also great when we went swimming by our bungalows. Just slip on the shoes and go down the ladder and into the water. All the rocks and corals won't scratch your foot. Good luck.

You're going to have a great time! Relative to the rooms, food was almost a bargain. Lunch by the beach/pool was about $30/pp. For dinner at the French restaurant each entree was about $45+ add appetizer for $20 and each alcoholic drink ~$20, obviously can pay more for better drinks. Beer is $10 for a bottle of bud light or local beer.
There is also a $135/pp charge for the direct airport boat. If you're not looking to throw away money I'd take the free boat to town from the airport and catch the Conrad shuttle from there it's significantly cheaper. When you arrive at the airport Conrad will have a booth with greeters and a shuttle schedule. We went into town upon arrival picked up snacks and drinks then caught the shuttle to the hotel. We took the private hotel shuttle to the airport upon departure due to time.
