The town of Talkeetna is very small and quaint. These cabins fit right in with that scene. There's nothing really special about them, I think, to justify the price of these cabins. Alaska summers have about 18 hours of daylight to them, and it would have been helpful to have some type of room darkening curtains in our cabin. It... More

The Cabins are perfectly located on the edge of town. It's an easy stroll to town for shopping, dining or excursion vendors. The cabins are small but clean with comfy beds. The front deck provides a nice relax spot to chill. June the manager is very nice and accessible as you desire. We utilized the small kitchenette for lunch and breakfast.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. All needs were met sufficiently. Within walking distance to town and shops. Jane was very helpful with information and suggestions. We were there for Talkeetna's 100th Anniversary which included a painted moose parade and auction.

The manager Jane was very nice and informative about the area. The cabin was in excellent condition and very clean. We had the 2 bed cabin. The beds were comfortable. A nice furnished kitchenette and plenty of lighting. Would definitely stay with them again

Talkeetna has a great Alaska town vibe and a view of Denali, when she decides to show. The Mountaineer Visitors Center where everyone trying to climb Denali needs to register is in this town. Denali Brewery has a presence as well as lots of boutique shops. The Roadhouse is a great bakery/breakfast spot to start your day. These cabins are... More

Our time spent at Chinook Cabins was very enjoyable. We walked all around this unique town from the cabin and ate just around the corner for dinner. We had a kitchenette, which was nice. Our bed was very comfortable.

We stayed here one night on the way up from Seward to Denali. The hotel is close to waking distance to everything in talkeeetna. The rooms are super clean and have all the functional amenities. We rented two for our group of 9. We would highly recommend these to anyone traveling in the region.

The cabins were clean and cozy ,walking distance to all shops and down to river where you can get a good glimpse of "the mountain" when its clear. The owner is very friendly and knows a lot about the town. She dos'nt require a deposit to hold your cabin

This quaint property had cute individual cabins. The rooms were very clean and ours had a kitchen and living room. It is easy to walk around the town from here. There are many restaurants and other activities here.

We spent one night at this property. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. Our cabin was spacious with two very comfortable queen beds and a small kitchenette. The hot water in the bathroom came on immediately and the shower was great. Most of the places to stay in Talkeetna were either quite rudimentary. - or - they were cabins... More
