Sandwiched between railway and main road this small park offers basic services. Restrooms and showers use coins and are very dirty due to all quadbikers who just use showers to clean mud off clothes. Quiet and a short 10min walk to anything. Tight spaces for RVs.

Great location to walk to town shops & museum or to the train depot where you can catch the Hurricane Train. Also, right next to a good restaurant. Tight spaces, but very clean. Didn't use their facilities, so can't answer to that.

Super clean! Excellent facilities. Good space. Within walking distance of downtown Talkeetna and a great restaurant next door. Highly recommend. The bathrooms/showers here are warm, clean and private. They are pay showers but well worth it. We saw the Northern Lights both nights we were there (gorgeous as always) and were treated to a passing train several times. I have...

We stayed here for three nights while visiting Talkteetna. We came to town to ride the Hurricane train. You can walk from the camper park to the train depot. It's only a short walk. The bathrooms are clean. The laundry facility was convenient. The prices are fair. They have water and electric sites and full hook up sites. If you...

We stayed here a total of 3 nights during a recent 2 week trip to Alaska. The park is easy to find and although the sites are quite small, the location can't be beat. The gentleman at the front desk was very efficient and nice. You can easily walk to the tiny downtown area, which is a good option as...

Nice little site really close to the heart of the little town. Only potential draw back as others have mentioned is the railroad. We only saw one train pull through around 10pm on a Friday evening. So no real issue for us Washrooms and showers were clean and very decent Communal fire pit but no wood available at the site,...

The best thing about this RV park is the proximity to town. The next best thing is that you can reserve and pay online. Most you have to ring or email so well done Talkeetna camper park for making the process easy. When we arrived the office was temporarily closed but it didn't matter as the pitch numbers were posted...

The RV camp was good for the most part and had full hook up except for the fact that the bathrooms/showers were really gross and old. Also, to park 5 RV's became really uneasy and tiring to park because the space was really cramped and limited.

One of the better RV parks we've visited in AK - the best being Riley Creek in Denali National Park. This place had clean hot showers (reasonable priced), good laundry facilities, great location to air taxi tours and downtown, and a good sewage/water dump facility. Thumbs up.

“If you don't need sewer for the night, the back sites are nicer and away from the road. Dump station right on the way out.”

“Make your reservation online. Don't expect to just pull-in as spaces are assigned by reservation date. There are only 40 spaces. 1-10 are the quietest.”
