If you make it to Talkeetna, do not miss out on a stay at this B&B. It has the best charm with the best views in town. If you want to wake up to the Alaskan Mountain Range with Denali proud and center while you eat the best breakfast in town....possibly in the world, then call Maleia and make that reservation. Maleia will make you feel at home. I cannot wait to get back!

We were fortunate to stay here for a few nights on our Alaska adventure. Maleia made us feel so welcome... and the food she prepared was absolutely delicious. The accommodations are clean/comfortable with the most incredible views. We saw Denali from our room and stayed awake way into the wee hours of the day just watching the sky as semi darkness descended. We came back after a long hike to sitting on the lawn with a glass of wine followed by s'mores. Such special memories. This stay will go down as one of our most favorite. Thanks Maleia and Tim for making the Overlook Inn what it is... a most phenomenal place to stay. We hope to come back and stay longer the next time.

My wife and I stayed one night at the Denali Outlook Inn while en route from Denali to Seward (we wish we would have planned a few more days/nights in Talkeetna as it's a cute town and the Inn is phenomenal). Maleia met us at check-in and gave us a tour, welcomed us with pumpkin muffins and chocolate cookies, and ensured we got settled into the Victorian Room. The Victorian Room, as with all rooms, provided a great view of Mt Denali. We awoke to the thrill of a short period of time where Denali was fully visible. The Inn sits atop a bluff that provides unimpeded views of Denali. The accommodations are very comfortable - bed is great, rocking chairs allow relaxing sitting in front of picture window, and bathroom is exceptional. Maleia made breakfast to-order (biscuits and gravy with eggs and juice) - it was fantastic! The inn has a yard with numerous chairs to enjoy the views, as well as a fire pit for Smores. The Inn is a short drive from downtown Talkeetna. You won't be disappointed staying here!

The inn was built by a famous photographer and as such is more than picture perfect. It has great windows that open to a perfect view of Denali (AKA Mount McKinley). Malia, the inns hostess, was more than kind and I felt I left Alaska having made a new friend. Her omelette’s were to delicious and she had made homemade scones and bagels during our stay. It was super clean. It does not get any better than this. It was the nicest place we stayed during our visit. If you get to speak with the owner he is super knowledgeable about the area and told us to take Hatchers pass down to Seward vs the highway. So very glad we did this as it was breathtaking scenery and not always open to travel (closes in winter months). Opens to a Great Lake on top of the mountains. This inn was a great find and made for a great trip!

This is the most beautiful place ever. We stayed here on our way to Denali and I wish we could've stayed more than one night. Maleia was sooooo amazing and went out of her way for us. She had great recommendations and set up a table for us outside where we could enjoy our takeout dinner. Later in the evening we sat y the fire-pit and enjoyed a bottle of wine. We stayed in the Denali View Suite and it was awesome. We got up early in the morning and had a cup of coffee in the comfy chairs facing Denali. Maleia even sent me a text when the moose was in the river. Everything about this place is spectacular!!!! Thank you for such a great start to our 2 week trip to AK!!!
