Awesome! Our three day stay was well above our expectations! Why would you stay at a hotel when you can stay here?!?! Hobbs and Tom (owners) greeted my wife and me and showed us the accommodations. It was just like the pictures, meaning all was as described. It was a full size bedroom with a full size bathroom which was... More

We were a group of 7 so we bought out the cabin for a few days. When we drove up, we saw the front of the house and thought, oh small. We were so wrong and gladly so. Inside it was spacious yet cozy. Their were plenty of room for everyone. Everything was in the details i.e., the decor, the... More

My wife and I stayed two nights. The Fireweed Station Inn is listed in the historic buildings of the U.S. registry. Hobbs and Tom are excellent hosts. The fireweed room is very nice. It is quiet, large suite that can comfortably sleep 5. It was a very relaxing weekend. The Inn is about 10 minutes from Talkeetna. We hope to... More

My husband and I stayed here several nights and had a wonderful time. Not only was the breakfast amazing each day, but the hosts, Tom & Hobbs, were so very friendly and fun to talk with. We stayed in a large room w/ attached bath - our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was updated. The location is a... More

What a delightful place to stay away from the hustle bustle of nearby Talkeetna. A brewery close by, tons of local knowledge, hearty and tasty breakfasts and fresh garden produce to top it all off. Do not pass up a visit to the garden if you are from the lower 48. Hobb's English heritage has contributed to her bountiful and... More

great place to stay and get ready for a week in the wild. Very comfortable rooms and beds. However the breakfast and hosts where exemplary. Sourdough waffles hand made, sausages, home made bread. All were enough to almost cancel trip in the wild and just stay to relax. Very nice, must stay to believe B&B

A beautiful property out in the wilderness near Talkeetna...with very gracious hosts Tom and Hobbs! Conversation, insights, terrific breakfast, the verdant gardens and grounds are a huge plus. The lodge is a totally reconstructed historic building complete with scrapbooks of its lore...a ten year sensitive project done with the child and adult labor of their family! We were traveling by... This was our last place to stay during our dream trip to Alaska. We traveled with close friends and thoroughly enjoyed or stay here. Hobbs and Tom were exceptional hosts and easy to get to know. Very laid back, comfortable atmosphere. Extremely clean and well kept. You might think you will never find the place on your way in but... More

This is a place deep in the wood about 10 miles from Talkeetna about 3 miles from the Anchorage to Fairbanks highway. It is beautiful, clean and the breakfast and dinner were fine dining. The beds are comfortable. accommodation in Alaska is more expensive than elsewhere in North America and Fireweed is within the ball park of what you will... More
