The dive guides are really good and really work hard to make sure you have a good time. Safety is very important to them and that made me feel great. The food and staff are all great. They have a nice pool room with a bar.

If you are after American style basics then this will probably suit you. There were plenty of tables and the view was great, especially the wharf view. The place has a certain charm to it and I would go again.

We’ve been here twice and it’s a great family business. I can’t speak highly enough about James and Corky, who run the dive shop. Whatever you want, they will accommodate, which includes driving you around the island to other restaurants or taking you spear fishing. They are patient and fun, they take the time to explain every dive before you leave on the boat. The dive guides, boat drivers, gas mixers, etc. are smart and fun; they will take care of you and it was always reassuring to have them around. The hotel and restaurant staff are incredibly nice and accommodating also...this is the type of place that remembers your name and makes it friendly...you are NOT just another number on their list. If you don’t see it on the menu, just ask and they’ll make it if they have the ingredients (for example, we asked for chicken adobo and the chefs made it...every night when requested!!). The wifi was consistent, and cleanliness great! I can’t speak highly enough of the staff - I always enjoy seeing their faces and smiles and hearing their jokes. I respect the family that runs this place; very ethical and do a lot for the locals, solid people. Can’t wait to see them again in 2 years.

The rooms are a little basic but a good size and comfortable. The restaurant has a good sized menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is consistent and reasonably priced. An outside bar off the restaurant is also good to relax at. Staff are friendly. Not a top hotel but a comfortable stay.

I was there in March for 2 weeks of scuba diving. the hotel is well located close to the airport and shipwrecks. the hotel is basic but gets all necessary amenities and services. there is a dive center within the premises. internet connection was very hectic but i heard that the island should be connected by cable from Guam in April. so should be better now. hotel equipments are not new but sufficient if your are not looking for a 5 stars environment (i was more looking for diving environment). A smile gets a smile with local people.
